I used the glue, which to me just seems like Superglue, to stick my nails on. In another video the lady said 2 parts dishwashing liquid to 1 part water, soak forc10 minutes then use a floss stick to get under the nails. With that you can do a gentle sawing motion. Getting partway I soaked my nails for a further 5 mins or so then went back to using the floss stick - worked perfectly.
Omg thank you, this floss method saved me. I couldn't get the last 2 nails off
The soap isn't doing anything. It's just the hot water and floss is like one of the main reasons that your nails can get damaged. I would not do that.
This info was good, I just started wearing the gel glue press on nails, I love them! ❤ I stopped going to the nail tech 2 years ago (she was starting to show a horrible attitude). Me applying acrylic was too time consuming. Now I can do my nails in less than an hour and change as often as I like, AND it’s less expensive 😊
What kind of Nail glue do you use? The hot / warm water without all the extras works like magic for me when I don't prep my nails for press on's but I love it! I don't have to use acetone and my nails are ready for a new set every week....anyways awesome video Helen 😊💕
Just regular nail glue in the 2g tube. I have them on website. I think they wouldn't soak off with the water because I prepared my natural nail by roughing up the surface/removing the shine, and thos suckers stuck on for dear life🤣!!! Do you glue your tips? Or gel them onto your nails?
@@Bubbles-n-Bitches I glue them on! If you use gel there's an extra step on removing that gel from your natural nails after every set. It's not a bad thing just not super convenient for filming every week lol
@Patrice Nailed It! I'd actually love to see a video of how you remove your sets every week! Would you consider doing a video on that? Pretty please??😁
My glue on nails from several different brands (the glue) after wearing 2 and 1/2 weeks never ever come off in 5 minutes soaking in acetone and that includes e-filing off any top coat or anything else I've put on top of the nail. I don't overuse the glue at all but they are absolutely stubborn the remove. I gave up nail glue removers because they won't even budge. I guess my nails really hold product! For the last 3 years I have been doing gel x because I figure if I have to file most of it off anyway and soak in acetone I might as well have a sturdier nail that I can wear for a month.
Ok but what is the flu remover product called? A link maybe?
Thank you.😊
Just amazing 👏 😍
Thanks Alex!❤️❤️❤️
The soaking method doesn’t work for me, I tried so many times. And even with the product ( I used Kiss ) it didn’t work either.
What method do you use then?
Just wash dishes often n those glue will off coz that's what happened to me. My fake nail only withstand for 2 days only which kinda makes me mixed feelings 😂😂😂 plusss, my nail even gone after that 😅😅😅
I use gel type glue. It’s much easier to remove than regular nail glue which is more like super glue.
Soap and water doesn’t work for me either. I’m having to soak in acetone so I will try that.
Did NOT work for me either....AT ALL (the water method)😢
You need to break the seal before soaking. Maybe use the glue remover and then break the seal like you did and then soak.
I am having the worst time getting olive and June press on nails off. This is my first time using glue on nails. Soaked for probably an hour total in hot soapy water.
Soaked in acetone for several minutes. They look horrible now but I still can't get them off.
Help!
What is that product called?
I desperately wanted glue-ons to work!, and indeed, I could get them on easily and they looked beautiful. But it took me over three hours of painstaking work to get the nails off. Does anyone know of a nail glue that can be removed reasonably fast without damage to the natural nail?
I soak off in acetone after filing the top
Could you recommend an e file for those who arent professionals
Thank you! I thought I was crazy because it didn’t work and I go to search how to remove. All I see is soap and water soap oil and water.
Thank you 🙏🏾
That happened to me. Didnt like the slip feeling on my hand
That's cool 😎
Thanks Mandi! I appreciate you watching my lovely ❤️ 🥰
Your nails were beautiful. Didn’t look like they were worn for over 2 weeks.
It took only 6 hours.... Lol 😄
🤣🤣🤣 lolol
Jesus Loves you ♥️
