Yew! First. Ordered some compshocks for my gu last week. Keen to get them in the pootrol and see how they go. Dan was great to deal with and customer service was exceptional
That's awesome to hear bro! We have installed a few sets of comp shocks into mates patrols and they are always o mint afterwards, your gonna love em mate 🤘🏼
Next time the worn out Toyota diff looses traction just pull the park brake on a few clicks until the park brake shoes inside the rear disks stop the wheel without traction from spinning which will allow the opposite wheel to drive. Works a treat
Another great video, thank you for sharing. How do you get your exhaust to sound so good, I have a dpf back straight through system from Beaudesert Exhaust, and it doesn't sound any different from standard. Keep up the great work, and I am looking forward to seeing your next clip
hi JP. question. do you know if they have companies in aus that will ship products to the us. im looking to get the comp shock you have on your np 3 and the rear adjust suspension upgrades.
Hi mate, CRG have a new intake pipe off the turbo to the airbox 3inch for the Navara can you get it and do and install video so we can see how to fit it 🙏
So having damper adjustable shocks won’t make towing a caravan any better for people wondering, that’s the spring rate that helps that. The damper is the rebound the shock has when it hits bumps. Just so people don’t get the wrong info from old mate
Sort of. Having adjustable socks allows the load to be controlled better. So it will give a better ride. However the spring rate is what holds the load up so it won't change anything there
Sorry boys partsman dan does not carry suspension for my humble rock crawling leef spring hj75😭😭😭😬😬😬 We should fix this with some 4inch springs and long travel comp shocks PLEASE 😁I'll provide the test truck 😁😁😁👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Surley he has something for the mighty HJ! You could always move and traingulate the shocks by welding on some eye bush mount styles of a patrol or late model cruiser 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
The adjustment on the comp shocks doesn't seem to do much. The knob freely spins all the way around. So you have no idea what setting it's actually on. I wouldn't bother upgrading mine to these new ones
That doesn't sound right Jase.. my old and new remote res canisters have an individual click for each stage of adjustment. As I display in this video. Have you contacted comp shocks about yours not having individual clicks for each stage of adjustment??
@@wombat8539 I didn't want to lose the up travel. I ended up trimming the tub to suit the articulation, but yes, you could use extended bump stops to limit the travel into the guards if you were that way inclined I guess 🤷♂️.
Please subscribe to the channel. It helps us keep making content for you guys 🫶🏼

How many kms your nav have on it?
Just over 50 thousand mate
Hey there Legend
Any promo codes for partsman by any chance.
How much are the shocks?
i was looking on their website and it said 3 and 2 inch lift, does that mean its 3 in the front and 2 in the back?
That's correct! Basically, it levels everything out.

Yeh it got the ATI's badly, they are all good though 😄 it only marked up the replaceable rings 🙏🏼
Ah yeah, Safety squint’s work 😑
😂😂
Really don’t understand why you don’t just extend your rear bump stops 🤷♂️
Why's that?
