What an intriguing movie, packed with valuable lessons for both men and women.
The protagonist's decision to marry a woman who hurt and abandoned him during his humble beginnings makes him seem like a simp. He could have forgiven her and moved on, as he might never fully heal from knowing she married him for his wealth rather than love.
He should have let her go to find a partner who would stay by his side through any future financial challenges.
It's puzzling why some men take such risks to prove meaningless points. Learn to let go of people who don't deserve you and focus on yourself.

I believe he decided to marry her because he found it hard to heal. He probably felt like any woman who claimed to like / love him now that he is rich will only be because of his new financial status. Such a good movie.
It's a repeated theme in most Nigerian films to let bygones be bygones and to forgive. However, forgiving is one thing, but allowing people back in to our lives who don't have the purest intentions towards us is not healthy or advisable. It takes time for genuine change to occur in people who have demonstrated unhealthy traits. As for me, I've had an ex swing the block recently. I was respectful but very firm in my response. I've moved on. I'm presently single and loving the new relationship I'm building with myself.

Additionally, letting go of the past is crucial because many exes return with bad intentions, even if some have learned their lesson. When the pain subsides, their issues often resurface. Letting go is the best remedy.

indeed marriage isn't not for the faint-hearted,Shindara takes most of the blame money isn't everything,love is everything,money is secondary in a relationship but @ the sametime Iyi shouldn't have married Shindara when he knew he wasn't fully healed from all she did to him,we should becareful with our words because words are like eggs when it is said you cant unsay it again,another version of Mide she is calm in this movie which is rare, Samuel the gateman is a vibe

I really do hope a man is not petty like this. She may have been uncouth and said some things but that moment where she apologized and he told her he accepted her apology, every other attitude of his afterwards is on him. It takes a really immature man to act like this. Such a narcissist and an absolute nag. What if she had died from complications of the abortion? What if she actually died from the fall? The ridicule, the yelling, the disrespect! How does one heal from that? Was really waiting for when Mide will spark. Came a little too late. I like that ireti was always encouraging her but how much can one take. Anike Ami is such a beautiful actress. She has the best facial expressions hands down. A good movie. But this just goes to show how many marriages need help in Nigeria.
