Doesn’t matter if the car is 10 years old or a brand new GT3: it’s great to take so much time taking care of a car. I always enjoy washing my cars by hand
These videos always make me want to go on Amazon and order one of each product, then thoroughly wash my car. Sadly, it'll have to do with the odd garden hose rinse and the occasional full-auto carwash drive-through, because I just don't have the time or the knowledge to do it properly.
@@daylen577 I was in the same spot as you were. However, I just started small (bought myself a pressurewasher and some products), fast forward today (some 2 years) and I now have a good collection of products and tools. Just a matter of starting somewhere!
I respect the fact you only used one bucket for that car, too many detailers/valeters waste time using the 2 bucket method on cars that have been run through cheap car washes for years.. good to see someone being honest and upfront 👍🏼
Nice. I have solved this problem: all my 3 cars are hobby objects as well as daily drivers. All are kept very clean. Takes a bit of time, but it's a hobby so no problem. Then again I have 2 ex-wifes, perhaps there is some link :-).
I've just started a mobile valeting business, and your videos are absolutely priceless. You've basically taught me everything I know! So thankyou for that.
I watch a ton of videos from different people. I must say I like yours the best. You voice is pleasant and you are not just rambling on. Love to see more of you're videos. Have a great weekend! Regards from Sweden
Yes! Sno-foam x 2!! The "first shine" after you've hit the first pass of cleaner and power wash is always a pleasure to see, I always think "Oh yeah, I'd forgotten, that's what it's actually supposed to look like" 😆 Stay dry 🌦️
I really love this video. Brilliant transformation on the VW and great use of products. I've not seen many people on YT using Autobrite Direct products but I really rate them, use them and I'm glad you use them too. That snow foam looks epic.
Nice work.😎👍 I cannot wait for the better weather to get some detailing in. All it has done for the last six months is rain or snow. I hate winter in Britain!
Love the meguiars wash+ , tend to use it before a machine polish or even a clay bar. Does a great job at removing old waxes and built up crap in the gentlest way possible. Loads of lubricant in there
great video Joe, I'm a big fan of single bucket washing with a couple of MF mitts! This time of year, its a pair of *fabric Sealskinz* you need, they're pure magic to detail your car with, hands stay water-proof and warm! ❄
Great video again from the guru can i ask 1 question where did you get the extension lance for your kranzle ? Is the blue rubber tip fixed or like 1 of those sticky release ones is that lance mtm ? Many thanks in advance 👍
Definitely some, if the car is properly manky and ingrained I'd recommend applying it directly but will it'll still give a deeper wash than a normal shampoo when just used in the bucket.
please can you start taking the wheels off and washing the inside of the wheels as well if possible, it would be so satisfying to see that process and to see that with the final product when the car is all done and clean
@@CarCleaningGuru oh my bad alot of the videos ive seen have been with the wheels on the car, but your content is still amazing, and i must say im definitely not used to having creators reply to comments, so this is actually quite appreciated, keep it up man... Also i tried scouring the web in search of ceramic couting i can apply with a little applicator pad here in my country but it isnt as widely available here as opposed to other countrys so meguiars is starting to become my go to but it is the most expensive car care product range in cape town at the moment which is a tiny bit inconvenient, but i mean what can you do right 🤦♂️😂 anyway stay safe and hope the weekend treats you well💪🏼
Bloody amazing video! Quick question, I will assume its a gopro in the corner recording some bits, do you leave it there for the duration of the wash or do use it for a short amount of footage? I want to use mine for similar reasons, but not sure how battery will hold up to a 3hr detail recording at 1080p 60fps Much respects to your cleaning hustle! ;)
Just turn it on for 10 mins here and there to take a few snippets from. Batteries and memory cards not big enough to have running all day and often overheats if in the sun.
@@CarCleaningGuru ah, that makes sense. I use the head strap accessory and its a hassle because of, like you said, overheating and changing the battery. *Sigh 😔 If only they can fix the battery location so its easier to pop in and out instead of the full on water proof mumbo jumbo. Thanks for the advice tho! 😉
Just be careful with a metal polish as they’re often plastic and a metal polish can damage them. As stated above give them a go with a light/mild abrasive paintwork polish first.
Depends on what you expect them to do. Remove loose dirt and soften up more moderate dirt then yes. Completely clean the car without you having to touch it, then no.
I had one of them same colour as well as my first taxi down in London. Wicked car big inside horrible drives swat felt like a big fat person had seat in the seat before me 😂😂
Bailey's daily is looking much better after an afternoon with the Guru. Could you give us a hint as to what used car you might be buying? Another estate car, or hatch?
Generally yes. The Hyperfoam wheel & tire is amazing but won't last very long, the graphene tyre dressing will go a long way as will the inside job, the slick'n'slide shampoo is super concentrated and haven't used the others enough yet to comment!
How would you recommend vleanning under the seat rails on the front seats after ages of cleanning my cars I haven't found a way of doing this other than removing the seats witch is a nightmare many thanks
Wow using crudzilla neat isn’t a cheap hobby! Do you not think it would have been potent enough diluted down? I use it at 3:1 on my car and it does the trick, although admittedly my car is never that dirty 😂
Great job as always! If possible would you be able to wash a car like my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid? Think it’s called the Ford Maverick (old one not the new one lol) over in the UK.
I cant believe you are still using Wash+ on regular customer cars....that stuff is like a rare element now...they dont make it anymore...I would save it for only the most necessary circumstances. That stuff was my go to coating removal soap since its the only soap that actually strips coatings when used how the bottle says to....Super sad its been discontinued

Nice to see daily drivers getting a clean 👌 👍 well done on this one bud
Watched video because its a guru vid. Then learning he was cleaning a daily driver made this all the more appealing! Brilliant vid 👊
I love your work man! Your attention to detail and great narration makes these videos so much fun to watch
Good honest and entertaining, bravo!
Thanks for the amazing video, Joe!

Great video! I can never understand how somebody can have enough money to own 2 Porsche and not store them in a dry garage
Houses in this area are crap for garages, as they are where I live 🤷♂️.
@@CarCleaningGuru ah ok. that happens
@@bluebillbo Not ideal but I'd rather have the nice cars and deal with no garage than have no nice cars at all!

What polish would you have or used on the chrome strips? Thanks

1st to say Thank you for the educational content.
hey man love your content, keep at it! Could you recommend an air freshner so the car always smells like its just out of the dealership? thanks

Nice one, a few new bits of trim and a wheel refurb and it would be looking its best.

Where can we find your lance and hose upgrade your using? I’m assuming it’s MTM and it has a really decent spray angle
Carscope!
Lovely work as always.
What a coincidence. I was actually looking at a B7 Passat to buy off my colleague to flip then see you post a video cleaning one 😂
How much difference is there with adding Meguiars Wash Plus to the bucket rather than direct to the mitt?
