That fox is experiencing what we call in our house as the ginger snap. My late father rehabbed deer and people always dumped stray cats there. The deer loved them and my Dad didn't mind because it kept mice out of the corn supply.
Bit disappointed that there wasn't a guinea pig friend as in the thumbnail, which is why I clicked on this.
This exactly why I make sure who/what my in/outdoor cats bring home!
I watched this entire video to see the cat with the gerbil and it wasnt even in the video. Disappointed.

Yes cats can as easily make friends as they make enemies.
My first cat (as since living on my own) came with my girlfriends cat inside. Yes I stayed there for 6 weeks, because of her health problems. It was love on first sight between Poeshka and me.
A few years later another (female) cat came to my new home... and followed an neighbouring cat to my new house.
And instead of what we cat "owners' butlers often think is that cats do not like new cats in their territory / house.
Well for some cats that is true (especially for the dominant cats)... but the other cats often seem fine with it. Become friends or at least not attacking (or ignoring each other). I still have one cat that who was friends with 3 of my other cats. Good times!
