lol, it does suck in looks, I have the monitor in this video and I´m happy with it, just settings out of the box suck need to tweak a bit, but its awsome for comp gaming.
I didnt get this model, i went with the Asus VG248QE. Its pretty much the same thing though. It works great. i was missing so much playing on a 60Hz monitor, 144Hz is the only way.
yh man I did order this exact model and it came but they sent me a usa plug and not a uk one which really pissed me off so in the end I returned it and went with the benq XL2430T and its been amazing like color wise did take a little bit off twinkering but got it in the end lol hit me up if you wanna play some cod or st mate :)
hello, I ordered it but it was out of stock so they offered me Asus VG258Q, so are both similar in performance? I seen very few reviews on youtube and in one review someone comment this:"Fake 144Hz .. Yes it has 144Hz, but am sure you never gonna use it ... 144Hz is a hoax, yes , you can run 144Hz but with a lot of sttuter and jiggle ... Yo can only run at 120Hz, but this 120Hz is flawless silky smooth .." So I'm not sure if its true or is it make any difference?
It's not something I'm able to test, and quite honestly it's such a niche feature I don't think I will ever bother, now that VR is taking over that space.
Yes the new version MG248QR doesn't have Nvidia 3D vision anymore and maybe that's cause is a niche like you said and few or no one uses it, seems that the colors are worst on the QR so im happy i have this exact model.
Pope Chode You could not have been more Wrong with your statement. The concept is the same, however the execution is totally different. Gsync is One, there are no variations. Gsync technical speccs are defined by Nvidia and cannot be altered in any way + code is closed. Nvidia gives a precise criteria to which monitor has to fit in technically in order to be implemented. Hence the higher price, but as a result CONSISTENT performance across the board. This results in Gsync monitor performing exactly the same from different manufacturers or same line. Freesync is more flexible towards how dev's that implement it, and in general has a more open platform. Which results in varied performance across the board. There are guidelines towards technical speccs, but they are not as harsh as Nvidia's. Result of this is inconsistency across the board, as one Freesync monitor from one manufacturer / product line will differ to other manufacturer / product line. So if you choose between them - Gsync more expensive, however you get a solid performance, Freesync cheaper and while it can offer Exactly the same performance as Gsync, it will differ from manufacturer to manufacturer, and various model.
Having used dozens of both, the real world experience is much the same. Indeed I've yet to use a Freesync monitor that didn't deliver entirely satisfactory performance.
I own one for half a year more or less and very happy with it it's paired with a RX580 8gb freesycn on.
Your videos are awesome! I hope you keep at it!
Thank you. I certainly plan to.
Can you adjust color vibrance in the monitor settings
Is there a similar to this monitor on features, but with 1440p ?? :)
How would u tweak it?
Is this good monitor to buy now ? I'm worried about flickering and ghosting in FPS games like CS:GO, does it have problems like that ?
Vs lg 150-200 eu monitors
Does it support freesync through HDMI?
You mention alternatives with better image quality but don't give any examples.

any review that doesn't actually say what the price is at the time of review, isn't worth a damn.
