When an artist interprets a song, whoever they are, the chief consideration is doing the original justice but perhaps more importantly is the "vibe". The original was a brilliant modern dirge set to emotionally involve the listener in the subject. I must say, in this interpretation, the "vibe" is different in such a way as to pay homage to the original but hit a different emotional point. The vocal and guitar here work seamlessly together and yet apart sonically. The vocals imply more hope melodically and of course executed brilliantly. The guitar work really shines and match the vocals in intensity and re-interpretation. Well done as always.
