The 'mother' theme comes from the original Peter Pan book where all the boys want a mother and immediately adopt Wendy as theirs. Peter Pan always looked at Wendy as a mother and female playmate, which is kind of adorable.
Emma's speech is such a reflection of her character's growth since the S3 premiere. It was amazing story to watch and brilliant performance by JMO. Other than Pan and the Shadow, Felix is probably the strongest lost boy. He's in charge when Pan's not around. Placing Hook behind him to hold him off and protect the group was to give him credit to his importance that he undeniably deserves. Note the obvious, the moment Hook gets the most defensive and protective is when Felix is speaking forcefully to Emma.
I really love Felix. I wish they did more with his character. But the "good" guys are pissing me off here because they take away the lost boys family for their own happiness. When I was watching this the first time I was like fuck Henry just leave! Sorry but not so much. Season 3 is my favorite and my favorite parts are the lost boys, Neverland, and Pan. Now that I think about it Felix is literally me in guy form lol. Maybe that's why I feel so drawn to him haha
I'm not gonna lie. The "good" guys are really starting to piss me off now. I know Pan is the bad guy and is evil. But did the good guys ever think about how killing Pan is taking away some of the lost boys how and family. Something that the good guys always talk about and struggle to find. I mean just look at how loyal and worried felix. This really got me pissed because Emma is always bitching about how lost she is and how snow and charming always want to fill the void. But when it really comes down to it. They are willing to kill any body and take away anyone's family for their own happiness. This is why they really have no rites to call themselves good. And this isn't the first time they have done this, too. Snow let regina kill her own mom to save rumpel. I really am sick of Snow Charming and Emma referring to themselves as the good guys when in reality they have never once considered how the lost boys feel about losing Peter Pan. I know most of them are miserable with Peter but what about the others who love him and are loyal to him like Felix. I know the writers clearly are showing us the characters aren't so black and white, I just wish the characters would realize this too. Sorry for my ranting this is just something thats been on my mind.
If the lost boys did like pan more and were more loyal to him like Felix, those two other lost boys wouldn't have gave out the info to Emma. Yes pan has saved them but how much longer can you stay on a Island and do the same routine everyday. Also the lost boys seemed to enjoy themselves when they were on the jolly rancher after snow gave them something to eat and also in season 3 when they reached storybrook they were all smiling. You can also see them in other seasons in the background at granny's diner smiling and enjoying the new life in storybrook
Felix is me in every situation I swear😂🤣I love him..
Sameeeee
"Where. Is. Pan?"
"Not. Telling"
XDDDDDD

LOL hook sitting felix back down with his hook ahaha

Just because they have Stockholm syndrome does not mean they should stay with Pan SMH.
