@1:21:31 this is why this is the best longplay of this game. you could have proceeded with taking him hostage and interrogating, but you wanted to let the conversation play out first, which also let the other guy walk away.
There's examples of this immersive playing all through the playthrough. More than impressed with this smooth play style

Hey I just wanted to thank you for this walkthrough it definitely helped me at times as I just played this game for the first time. I was even able to 100% a few levels so I’m glad I found this. Chaos theory is awesome but it’s a shame Ubisoft doesn’t treat this franchise as well compared to others

@@ThaKRAKEN187 Funny indeed. But yeah, I think Double Agent was more fun. I played the PS2 version and finished it 2 times. I couldn't even bare Chaos Theory for half way.
Using still images for the instructions to the missions was a lazy idea. The secondary objectives were absolutely boring. Who wants to find crates? (light house mission and ship mission). What was even the primary objective of the light house mission. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is that game that looked cool and still looks cool in the advertisements and the G4 Icons episodes.
Double Agent on the PS2 was a refined version of the Chaos Theory mechanics. They made the game feel more like a fun experience. We got animated cutscenes different and apart from the news. No boring secondary objectives.
All in all, I am really puzzled that Chaos Theory was the best of them all for many fans. Was Double Agent on third generation consoles so bad?

@@dmaster20ify I only played the second version of Double Agent, and realized you have to play both versions to get the full story. That's one of the reasons I don't think Double Agent was the more refined game, but other than that I found the antagonists kinda faceless- Everything what explained through phone calls, and if I remember correctly the sound meters were removed. I know that the first version had no HUD whatsoever and the one that did have a HUD was inconsistent. I'm not saying it was a bad Splinter Cell, I just preferred Chaos Theory.

@@ThaKRAKEN187 I am not known for my popular opinions. But I am shocked as I think we are all Splinter Cell fans here. I thought we would agree on which ones we like. I am really shocked that fellow Splinter Cell enthusiast loved Chaos Theory. But an opinion is called an opinion for a reason. I just can't shake the idea that Choas Theory's game play is super boring. I don't know if you guys just like the name Chaos Theory, or the ads for the game was super awesome, or its because you guys got to play the game long before Double Agent.
