Not pregnant and have no kids
*watches all pregnancy vids*
Maria Charry SAME I NEVER WANT CHILDREN BUT I LOVE THESE
@@derekg5563 not everyone wants kids derek
I CAN GIVE U ONE 😆
@@catrinamariemaguire That's Funny Cuz i wasn't even Talking to u. -_-
exactly me rn
The pair we wanted, maybe didn’t know we wanted but definitely wanted
I don't have kids and cant relate yet some how I still can. Single without kids and watched while very engaged in the conversation.
didnt' know I needed them but they're so well matched!!
YESS! ❤️
I'm so glad Ashley corrected Shay about just saying 'Africa'.👏👏 Africa is not a country! People who say that sound so stupid!
Couldn’t agree more 😅👍🏽
Shay is perfect looking. It's almost unfair.
Like holy shit girl, how?
Dani biore lmao 😆
her make up artist. are you really that stupid?
@@dede4866 Calling someone stupid for complementing another human being. Take a good hard look at yourself and how you talk to others, and stop being disrespectful.
I am very smart, and I know her make up artist is probably fantastic. But she also has a beautiful bone structure and a very unique mix of backgrounds (Not sure which, don't care) that make her face very pretty, at least to me.
Honestly, if you don't have anything nice to say, why say anything at all?
I started watching PLL after seeing her in a trailer just because I was stunned by her beauty 😍
Makeup buckets of it
Ashley Graham is such a good interviewer! For real, she has that certain something that produces a great interview (IMO).
Kayla Christenson right?? She lets people talk and make people comfortable, without being a try hard
@@adora1308 Totally! Plus she has this knack for going presenting a tangential question that is actually relevant, then returning to the topic at hand. Some of my favorite interviews to watch/listen to!
Agreed, she always asks amazing questions and gives whoever she's interviewing room to answer!
Kayla Christenson true first time I watch her and I like how she interview
Yes, not like others who magically had mainstream talk shows and such just because they were famous on RUclips. I have nothing sour against them, it's just that poor sense of judgement by the mainstream media.
Ashley's presence makes anyone feel comfortable with her!! She's such a breath of fresh air!!
So true
This was such a heartwarming talk. It’s not even an interview, it’s a wonderful talk between two wonderful women. I feel privileged to been allowed to listen to this.
Women talking to women, openly and honestly... It's what we all need. This was such a beautiful interview. Thank you two for being so honest!!! We need more ladies like you.
They didn’t save the amazon rainforest. It’s just two women taking openly, how sheltered are you, this happens all the time
@@missestomlinson99 Not sure why you choose to be unnecessarily negative and rude, but I hope your life gets better and your attitude changes. Have a lovely day
I love how this didn't feel like an interview, it felt like two friends chatting
"Cmon Africa, where?" God bless you for saying that Ashley. You just earned yourself a new subscriber.
dark nath 26:50
I said the same thing when I heard her saying that, thank you Ashley!
yeah, and people do that all the time with Europe too. like what do you mean "Europe"? are we talking about Denmark or Albania or..? like what. It's soo ignorant.
bexans Never heard anyone say that unless they toured Europe, people never specify what country in Africa
@@MayaParris about the same amount of people people specify where in africa, europe, and asia. just not westerners lmao
I’m an OB Nurse and I can’t say enough that I appreciate so much that Shay understood that you CAN’T have a birth plan because anything can happen. it’s so nice to have mommy’s that are able to adjust with change. Not having a birth plan helps mom’s be more flexible and able to prioritize the safety of their baby and themselves. I find those are the most successful deliveries!
It’s so awful how Shay was treated after she gave birth.
Alyssa L. What happened
People were just saying she was a bad mom for going out and stuff
REMEMBER. you dont live FOR your kids, you are LIVINIG with your kids.
@Toxic Neon Gas You must have missed where she said it had been weeks not a week. You also can't be a good mother if you dont tske care of yourself, going out for an hour and a half is nothing but it's a healthy break for the parents.
I'm pretty sure the baby was taken care of. Yes prioritize your children 100% but if you have never had a child, you wouldn't know what its like the 1st few weeks. Its literal hell. She needed a small break, pretty sure there was someone, pretty sure she didn't go starving, pretty sure she was fine for a few hours. Its not like she went on a trip for a few months or something. Also, newborns don't know anything rn, so this would be a good time to take your breaks. Now when she's like getting toddler age, Shay will definitely be with her 24/7 that's when they really take in information, learn and need the most attention.
I'm not pregnant nor planning on being pregnant soon, but they gave me so many tips I feel prepared
Feel you girl 😅
“9 months..I ate a lot of chips and...that’s what’s happened..wow” 😂
I don't even want to have children but seen two mommies talking about pregnancy and labor was incredibly informative and interesting for me. This interview was everything. 😍
It was so sweet. I never want a kid but this was super nice and super sweet.
It also opened my mind to a lot of things that I never even thought of with new mums. Taking notes when my friends give birth to next round lol.
Thank you for having her specify what *countries* in Africa she enjoys, so important for people to understand that the entire continent of Africa can not be lumped into ONE!!!!!!
Yeah!! Africa is not a country! People who say 'Africa' like that sound so stupid.
With Europe it's the same. Some people of US say: "oh I want to see Europe!"
Me as someone who was raised and still live in Austria: "Which Country?"
Them: "What do you mean?"
Me: "you know that Europe is a continent not a country right?"
Them: "Really?"
Me: " didn't you have geography in school?" 🤦
Thank you Ashley for acknowledging Africa is not a country
Ashley Graham's laugh is the only thing I need in life
samee
Hanna Okay but literally like not even to be rude does it or does it not sound like ursala off of little mermaid?
I heard her laugh the same moment I read this comment and couldn’t agree more.
not pregnant, no kids, somehow found this weirdly empowering 💪
Women supporting women this we don’t see enough of this is so refreshing to watch . Shay looks amazing after her pregnancy she has never looked better Ashley is glowing congratulations to her 🎊 . I love both of these beautiful and strong ladies 💪
Have birth “preferences” but not a plan. As you say, plans can go out the window depending on how the birth goes. I had to get pitocin (and they forgot the epidural for 5 hours!), followed by a c section. It wasn’t what I wanted, but it was what was best for baby. The problem with a plan is that women can feel disappointed if it doesn’t go to plan. There’s no “correct” way to give birth other than the way it ends up happening for you.
Agree!
Mom shaming is mostly done by other moms. 🤷🏾♀️
Unicorn Soul I feel sorry for those moms
Mom shaming are mostly done by horrible, depressed insecure moms!
There are also women who simply don’t understand why anyone wants kids. I have a friend like that, she’s over 50 and still makes a stank face when she sees babies or pregnant women.
Unicorn Soul sad story! It’s such a shame
@@Eucis93 Okay, so? Your friend is smart.
I gave birth on the same day! Oct 8th. Planned to be all natural, ended up emergency C-section, & my little girl didn't latch. It's true, you never know. Breastfeeding issues and postpartum depression is real. Thank you for this 🙏
Congrats new mama 💕
I love the fact that they talked about pre partum depression I had it so bad with my son and it was crazy
As someone who is expecting and in the midst of prepartum depression (just learned that was a term from this video!), this level of candor and normalization made me feel so much better. Many tears of gratitude and relief were shed. Thanks, Ashley and Shay!
Highly recommend a doula if you haven't heard of one or are able to afford one
I will surely be looking you guys up as soon as i am pregnant
I lost my first daughter when she was 17 days old, so this time around I didn't tell hardly anyone. I completely understand where you're coming from. It's so terrifying and the thought of god forbid something happening the thought of telling everyone all over again was DAUNTING AFFFF! Congrats, mama, and thanks for opening up about everything
Oh I’m so sorry!! My heart honestly goes out to you sweetie xxxx
Rhiannon Beth thank you so much.
So sorry for your loss, wishing you a healthy happy pregnancy, delivery and new mommyhood 💕
🌈💕
I'm sorry for your loss!
This is like the best interview so far. I feel like they were so honest. THANK YOU!
Shay looks amazing shes got that new mommy glow
I love shay’s parenting style, take it as it goes
Omg like ashley need to have a netflix or tv show, i mean like she is so damn real
Angela Kalita i know what you mean, but this is her show! :)
I could not stop being mesmerized by how beautiful Shay looks here
She says Toronto the only way a Torontonian would say it “ trono”
Or trona haha
LMAOOOOO
Chronno
when does she say toronto ... i left
Middle
This is the most realist and honest interview
I totally get it when shay says It didn’t feel real until I had the baby.. that hit hard.
Currently 32 weeks pregnant and I can't tell you how much this real talk about pregnancy and motherhood means to me! Thank you, Ashley and Shay! :)
Never wanted this interview to end
This interview is so good! Ashley Graham is so good with conducting an interview. This just seemed so honest.
My mum onece said.. 'When you're a new mother you'll genuinely be unbothered about the hate you gonna get.All you would care and be bothered is the new family you just made'
Thank you for talking about pre partum depression! It’s a topic that’s hardly ever covered. A lot of women suffer from it, I was one of them! Can totally relate.
Ashley Graham has THE best laugh! Lol i love it!
If u watch shay upside down she really looks like Kim k in a natural way 😂😂
OMG that’s true😱😱
How did you figure this out lol, but true.
Hahaha, so true how did you even notice this 😂
Shay is wayyy prettier😍
Hahahahaha
Ashley! If you're tight with Revlon, can you use your influence to convince them to stop testing on animals?!
Yes please Ashley!! 💛
Thank you for saying this!!!
shays not a regular mom, shes a cool mom lol so pretty
Im from South Africa and I appreciate Ashley so for being SPECIFIC on the African countries. That made me so happy.
Thank you Ashley🌹🌹🌹🌹
Its my 30th today and I literally just said this to my girlfriends. I am so excited to be 30, this last year I've felt this new confidence and self love. It's insane, I'm so fucking excited for the next 10 years. Thank you for being amazing empowering women❤
Ashley's laugh is SO contagious! Also...such a good, real conversation with 2 gorgeous Mummys!
Just started my second trimester (of my first pregnancy) and already know I shouldn’t have a “plan” but rather preferences because anything and everything happens and you can’t control it. So smart to share that with her because so many women get disappointed if something doesn’t go according to their birth plan.
Best Mom conversation I've ever heard! Wish I had this pre-baby!
This didn’t feel like a 37:49 long video and I only wish it was longer! Both women are so beautiful and powerful. I never watch PLL but I’m so inspired by Shay’s journey as a mom and entrepreneur, 2 goals I would love to achieve one day! Thank you Ashley for sharing this 💛
I had pre-partum depression and was pregnant at the same time as shay & her RUclips show really did help me feel less alone in the experience
Is it only me or does anyone else just wanna be part of this shashley friendship or girl club😂🙈
I have a new role model!!! Shay Mitchell is amazing! I was not able to get an epidural because I have metal rods in my lower back from a tumor removal when I was 10. My doctor was fantastic, and he became concerned that if I didn't go into labor a week past my due date, there would be a lot of damage. So I was induced, and was only on IV pain meds and I couldn't have the strong stuff bc it made me vomit and black out. But everyone is totally different, and I love that she explained that so well 😍
This is the most comfortable interview that i've ever seen. The questions just flowed with ease almost as if they are friends just chatting away. I absolutely looooooved when Ashley asked Shay to clarify WHERE in Africa she went to dispel the whole notion that Africa is a country and not a continent.
Mofifoluwa Oke ikr, I love this video.
This made me feel so much better about my prepartum depression, thank you for shining a light on it as I thought I was alone. Beautiful interview.
THANK YOU ASHLEY for asking “WHERE in Africa?” ❤️❤️❤️ Just gained even more respect for you which I didn’t think was possible! So annoying when people refer to Africa as just one big place. Loved this interview 💕
Both of them have never looked more beautiful... and that’s saying something seeing how they’re both stunning. Motherhood really suits them well.
Ashley you look angelic 😻💛
even though i adore this whole series and i've loved loved loved so many of the other interviews too, this one has to be my favourite
Such a real and beautiful conversation! Loved it xx
Thank you so much for this interview
Two queens in one video?? Does it get any better than this?!💗
Absolutely loved this!
i've been obsessed with these two for a loooong time and now if there's a word beyond obsessed that's me...
I'm so thankful for this conversation, it's been enlightening!
This was such an amazing conversation! One of the best interviews I’ve watched. They are both such beautiful, talented women!
ashley makes everybody feel comfortable talking!!!! love your podcasts
A very calming interview... Much love from Kenya🇰🇪
Being a first time mother, myself. I found this very informational and totally know what you both went through on pre and post partum depression because I went through it while pregnant with my son.
I didn't feel like talking about my emotions with others around me and everyone around me said that's hormones and you'll feel that way for a while... My son's now 2 months old and I still feel at times I feel that way
love both of you sm can’t wait to follow you guys in this journey
I feel like because of the internet, it is so easy to find actors/musicians/artists etc. so it's nice to have something that is a little more personal, like youtube, so now we can pick & choose talented people who are also nice, good people. And I love that is gives these talented people the creative freedom that it does.
You guys are everything and its so cool hearing you guys be able to share that bond about motherhood and pregnancy. I love you Shay and Ashley❤❤
I love Shay n how naturally non judgemental and real she is 💛 Never knew Shay has a channel ! I am so excited !
I love these interviews so much, it's kinda soothing, kinda awesome, cool and interesting - love all the guests that come on the show!
I love these videos so much. These conversations between women are so beautiful and much needed these days. Thank you!
This was such a great interview 🥰
I'm so so so glad and thankful that you talked about that kind of depression!!! I'm in my first trimester and I'm feeling the same! If I'm not nauseous, I'm crying. But because of the most simple thing like today I cried because my sister came over and I was happy to see her (I see her multiple times a week btw). I was never that emotional before... So it's good to know that it's normal, it reassures me so much, so thank you.
I just watched few of your interview videos today. I must say that you’re a fantastic interviewer.🙌🏼
I love that they really vibe off of each other and this interview is so engaging and I love the conversation and the topics they bring up 😁
Please have her back next season!! Y’all are amazing 💕
Love the Vibes!! Amazing interview. I Love Shay’s channel.Loved hearing all the deets. Blessing to 2 Beautiful Moms
just discovered this channel, love this chat! So refreshing to hear about genuine women talk about all sorts of topics and not being all pc, love this vid!
I love this interview, so real and raw. Ashley’s laugh is also so contagious 😂
Wow I had my baby 7 months ago and I haven’t gone out yet ! Why? Cause everyone around me ‘so ur going to leave ur baby for dinner ? ‘ 🥴 its really hard on me!
Oh my gosh. I stumbled on this video and thank god I did. Hearing you guys talk about prepartum depression, and your mindset while beginning pregnancy hit the nail on the head. I thought I was the only one who went through that and even now at 6 months I feel so guilty for having those thoughts of not loving being pregnant. So happy that I’m not alone. It’s so weird to lose your body/ part of your identity but to be excited at the same time about the thought of a baby.
Wow. Probably the best interview i have ever seen. So much spark, so beautiful. Unstoppable.
Love love love this!! ❤ YES to all the real mommy talk and support. I am due end of April with my 1st and love knowing as much as possible from other mamas!
I loved this conversation! Such great energy and coziness and warmth. All the best for you Shay and Ashley! :)
Thanks for sharing
Feeling every single one of these emotions so happy I stumbled across this discussion ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ so much love towards all the women going through this!
Showing love Ashley.. I'll be back later to watch, I'm working!!! ❤
This was really fun to watch! It didn’t feel like an interview at all. It felt like two friends chatting and catching up.
I absolutely love Shay and all her ventures. She’s so talented and inspiring! Loving this duo ✨
I really loved this. I learned a lot of pregnancy terms that I had to google which was fun 💀
currently 36weeks with my second child & I'm so glad I came across this video & your channel Ashley, everything both of you spoke about.i couldn't relate anymore, new subscriber here 👋
I seriously adore this whole podcast, have listened to it several times. I am 36 weeks, induction is in 2 weeks, a nd I love how relatable this is and how it normalizes everything that we go through. I LOVE you both so so so much for talking about these things.
Thank you for this beautiful conversation, and double thank you, I had never heard about prepartum depression even after having browsed so much around pregnancy and new mum videos
Just like all your pretty big deal portraits! Shay Mitchell has become one of my inspiring figures of 2020! Thank you Ashley for shining light on so many beautiful souls like you! Your conversation about pregnancy has caught my whole attention cos that’s sth I am manifesting in my life. I wish you guys had talked longer. 🙏🙏🙏❤️👌😘
Congrats to both of you on your growing families and your many successes in your creative and entrepreneurial lives! Loved watching this interview and seeing the authenticity and passion you both have. All the best to you, Ashley and Shay. ❤️❤️❤️
Love this so much!! Shay and Ashley are glowing... motherhood looks good on you both!!!
Omg how I loved this conversation. So honest and fresh and the female bonding is so heart warming. Learned so much!
Yes, talk about the Depression!!!! ‼️ So important, thank you for this honest conversation it’s so on point!!!
this was so exceptional! Thank you so much for talking about pre-natal depression. I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis (24-7 morning sickness and i'm 5 months pregnant and still puking all the time) and people keep telling me i'll forget and not allowing for me to express how sad i feel over the loss of my healthy body and life... it felt so validating to hear you both speak about this. THANK YOU!
OMG I absolutely love this. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and due in May. I'm terrified and feeling the same way about delivering like y'all... It's so comforting hearing y'all talk about everything. We need to hear more of this type of conversation...
