Fifteen years ago, my husband and I moved to the country side. It is a small town of 3000, mountains, rivers and lakes, we found our dream home and we've been happily ever after. I can't imagine living in a big city anymore. I have a small garden with lots of berries, plum trees, vegetables and herbs. As I write this, I am also plucking the red currant off the stems. 10 kilograms of red currant. Tomorrow I will juice them and store it in the freezer for smoothies.
Hey guys we have a black gelsi tree and at the moment its soooo full. You are right by living in the countryside you are rich I totally agree! keep your videos going they are good and all the best ragazzi.
Awww...don't you just love all these beautiful fruits that Sicily has to offer. I love gelsi granita this time of the year too! Thank you for your support and we hope one day we can visit each other 💚
Your channel will jump in no time. Very interesting, is about Italy and Italian life. You have more viewers then subscribers and this is great indication that you will never have problem with watch hours 🌞
Love this!! You guys have it right 100% My husband and I are just a few years away of finding our somewhere in the country for our happy place. Exploring Sicily this fall!
I hope you will love Sicily. Enjoy your exploring, fall is a beautiful time of the year here and it is still nice and sunny. We are planing to make couple of videos exploring areas nearby and maybe you will get some ideas from us.
😃 Definatelly, better than working long hours for somebody else. I always wanted to visit Malta, especially now when it is so close! Hope one day to visit 😀 Greetings from Sicily ❤️
I'll give you one reason more, for a grower prospective in Sicily we have 300 day of sun or more so we can grow everything, addressing the big limiting factor that is the water we can say easily that we live in paradise
And that's definatelly true. You can grow so many wonderful things in winter as well. I think I might like the winter period for gardening even more as everything becomes nice and green. I wish it rained more in winter. But we definitely live in paradise 🌞
Wonderful how you as a couple are telling about this great step forward in your lives. May I ask you how old you are and where you from? Sending you love and many blessings since The Netherlands 🥰
We are happy that people are enjoying our story and this video. It's wonderful to see so many people here from all over the world. Hello Netherlands 👋I am almost 40, and my husband is 41. @@SomethingLikeThis1 Thank you so much for sending your love from Sicily and for sharing your personal information! My husband and I would love to come to your beautiful island! Sending you both lots of love from The Netherlands ❤😊
We moved to Sicily and have never looked back. Left the corporate rat race, stress, and toxic corporate culture for a La Dolce Vita lifestyle. So happy you have found your happy place.
It's nice when people are trying to help! Thank you for your advice, but unfortunately, my husband is mostly allergic to one specific plant that belongs to the nettle family. 😔
It is 😊 We speak a mixture of English /Italian/Sicilian. And sometimes we forget certain words. That's definitely mulberry, which is called gelsi in Sicily. 😃

If you eat local raw honey it will help with your hay fever. Love your videos.
