A great performance around tonight though Burnley never really bothered us We still done a job a very different lineup from previous games but a refreshing change
Great to have Dawson & Santi back both looked solid even Bentley looked assured with the ball playing out from the back
Podence looked sharp I hope we keep him also Doyle was good and Guedes up top looked happy and played a great part up top + two well taken goals and if not for there keeper it could have been alot more
But what about our Wingers in Chiquinho and Lima both outstanding talents both liked to get forward but Lima for me was my MOTM looked so comfortable on the ball very calm and has a great delivery
We said goodbye to one Pedro but we welcome the new PEDRO what a great young Talent always Wolves🧡🖤🐺

That was better. I mean it's only Burnley but still lots of positives. Guedes, Lima and Podence all looking very good and we actually had a defence on the pitch for a change! Now we need to carry that forward into the Forest game and build up some momentum.

Other than the second half of the Chelsea match, the squad are looking good. I liked Dawson and Doyle starting as they bring some continuity to the defense. Great depth up front as well…

Decent enough game last night, i have to say Pedro Lima looks class, maybe after international break, he will be pushing forward to get into the Premier league starting 11, he can deliver a quality ball into the box, perfect for feeding Cunha and Stand-Larsen

As I’ve already said, a back 4 wasn’t the issue against Chelsea. What we saw last night was a well marshalled defensive setup led from the front, and much more discipline from the fullbacks. The distance between the back 4, the midfield and front line was much closer in defensive situations that allowed us to press as a team and be much more compact.
The transitions from defence to attack were excellent , I thought Doyle was superb in moving the ball quickly which got Burnley’s backs turned. For me he’s got to start on Saturday, his passing is next level.
Guedes was excellent, looked reminiscent of the Guedes from his early Benfica years. He was reading the game well, and his runs were intelligent.
thats correct but but a championship Burnley with a few changes aint the same as Chelsea and Premier League forwards
@@AlwaysWolvescorrect on the opposition but the principle doesn’t change. If you leave huge gaps from ur midfield the defence is left far too exposed. Most if not all of Chelsea’s goals were preventable. And yes the defence did make some mistakes, but as I’ve stated defence has to start up the other end of the pitch.
I’m pleased to see Tommy Doyle playing from the start. To my mind he should always start.

Good to see Podence playing more. Got Faith in O'Niel, Dawson and Beuno did well but we still need a CB and Doyle needs to play somehow

We have always looked far better organised with Dawson in the team. Yes he's not that quick, yes he's older etc but his awareness, positioning, reading, tackling, distribution and leadership are top class

Went to the game to bring back the W result and I did my job great game to watch although a championship side we played with the team playing much better than Sunday although with 10 changes in side but this gives Gary options now who played well in the game who to bring in for the Forest game at the weekend.
The game in general was so great we kept Burnley out where they didn’t manage a shot on target with Bentley hardly had much to do in the game as we bossed it from minute 1 to minute 90 good performance from the lads with some great play like the game we did against Leipzig but this has to continue to league games but I thought Lima and Guedes were outstanding in the game both did well in there roles and goals.
Player of the match for the three of us went to the game was Pedro Lima and rating 8.

This has made me feel a little bit at ease now that I’ve calmed down after the weekend but I’d be lying if I said I’m not worried anymore because i definitely still am I’m just hoping as far as transfers go we get a couple done before deadline day and I just hope it ironically enough heats up in the winter window.
As much as I’ve given Wolves grief over this window I do think the signings we have made have all been good especially Pedro Lima and Rodrigo Gomes and Larsen if it’s made permanent but my main issue with it is that we’ve let 2 of our mainstay players go and we haven’t exactly made a big name signing which is frustrating to me due to the amount of money we’ve made over the last 2 summers.
However if I’m being honest the thing I wanna see most from wolves at the minute is the third kit all the rumours about it have got me excited
you dont need big name signings though mate Larsen can be counted at that what you need are signings that improve us. its lilac purple

I’m a fan of purple so that kit sounds nice to me as long as it isn’t similar to that one that puma made.
