Thank you! Luli Island is so nice, I love their hammocks! The Starfish Island was great too! My favorite of those three was Cowrie! I couldn't believe how many palm trees there were! Haha Did you see these islands when you visited the Philippines?
@@DeannaTroyTravels We actually live in the Philippines. My husband and daughter haven't been to Palawan but I have. Hoping to visit these islands and Coron soon enough. Looks like the place to be!
Jealous!! What island do you all live on? How long have you lived there? Do you like it? I really wish I could live somewhere tropical with my husband, myself and our future child! But our parents need our help too much in the states so no hot weather for us! Haha We're in the U.S. in New England and it's only warm in the summer haha. So that life sounds amazing!
@@DeannaTroyTravels We live in Laguna in Luzon. I was born and raised here, I'm 100% Pinay. My husband is from the US, and he lived in Nicaragua for 16 years. We were married here, I moved to Nicaragua where our daughter was born. We moved back to the Philippines in 2018. Bohol was only the 3rd Philippine island my husband has been to. We can identify with having folks in the cold States--they go south for the winters though.
That's amazing! Wow how was Nicaragua? Sounds like two great places to live! I hope your husband get to see as many islands as possible! I know that the Philippines has over 7,000 islands so even most of the locals haven't been to them all. And haha yes many people do go South for the winter! Does your family have other travel plans this year?

There sure is a lot to like about this adventure. I have a serious case of sparsely populated beach envy! Public beaches in Connecticut are a little more congested. The Hammock scene inspires me to put a hammock in my back yard. I don't think it would be quite as "cool" as the one you were in however. The buffet looked mouth watering! Do Heinekens taste the same in your travels?
Thank you so much Carl! Omg yes those CT beaches always have a lot of people! Actually Cowrie Island did have a fair amount of people on it. That island seemed like a local regular spot for families to spend the day at. We should put a hammock in the back, but you need something to hang it from, we don't have trees haha. Yes the buffet footage gets me hungry every time, I miss Southeast Asian dishes! As for the Heinekens, to me all light beer tastes the same so I didn't notice a difference, but I do know they cost a lot less. People joke that beer is cheaper than water!
Those starfish are crazy! So much like chocolate chips!!! It is sad tourists took all the shells, though somehow that doesn’t surprise me :(
Yes! I love the name! Yes the tourists were even trying to take the starfish home! I don't know if you heard but while the tour guide was educating us someone asked "Can I take home that one?" It's so crazy that people think everything from the sea is up for grabs!
