  • Well it’s been a few weeks. But today the Sun was shining and the roads were calling to me, so I took the 2023 Yamaha MT-07 for a ride down to Dymchurch in Kent on the South East Coast, not far from Folkestone through the stunning Kent & Sussex Countryside.
The video start just before the return leg and begins with a quick bike walk round to show you the latest mods that I’ve fitted.
I look forward to you joining me on this latest ride.
    Cheers, Marcus :)

Nice ride out and about and see first signs of spring. Mods do look good and I must admit I do like the idea of doing my bike test. However would need something more comfortable with maybe a back support lol .

0.54 I'm sure the bike going past in the background pulls a wheelie! 😂
Nice bike, I like the mods.
The weather is definitely getting there for rides out 👍

I’ve just rewatched that footage. It does look like that doesn’t it?!
There were loads of bikes out yesterday.
It was the first taste of the good weather and nice dry roads. Bliss! 🤩✊🏍️💨

Please let me know if and how you get the R7 slipper clutch on, I can dumbbell curl 20kg’s with my left fingers thanks to the MT.

      😂😂💪😂😂
Will do. It will be a little while yet while I recover my finances to a normal level after spanking them with the mods so far.
I believe it’s an easy fit and there are some videos on RUclips already showing this upgrade. Both bikes use the CP2 engine, so it basically just fits and uses many common parts.
Be a cool little mod if I can find the time and money to do it. 😃✊🏍️💨

Haha thanks! I bet the old wallet is a bit bruised, I was in the same predicament for a time when I got mine lol. I’ll stay tuned !

Beautiful bike. I own the 23 MT-07. When I ordered the Yamaha branded tank pads the package only came with the 2 sides and not the center pad. Did yours come with it!?

Hi there, thanks for reaching out & for the kind words 😊👌
No, I had to order it as a separate item.

@@TeamOrrCrew Ahh ok, I love the way it looks and fits on your bike! So far I've done the Womet-Tech EVOS sliders, front fork and rear axle sliders. The Yamaha branded tank pads and Quickshifter. TST Mech-GTR front signals as well as their fender eliminator kit and integrated tail light. Rynomoto bar ends w/ CRG Hindsight 3" barend mirrors. Lastly some white hooligan Yamaha decals on the wheels. Turned out nice :) Next is the Akra titanium system. Love the way your bike sounds too!

The aftermarket pipes make the MT-07 sound amazing! It’s one of the reasons why I bought the bike to be honest.
Your bike sounds fantastic! You’ve definitely been busy with it. 😅

Great bikes. I’m at the other end of the spectrum having had sports bikes in the past (R1’s etc…).
This thing is so much more fun and more than quick enough for the road.
Enjoy and safe riding Bud 🤙😃
