- In this video, we're going to show you how to make a DIY concrete tabletop waterfall fountain! This fountain is perfect for any room in your house, and it's easy to make.
We'll show you how to make the concrete tabletop fountain, as well as how to install the fountain. After watching this video, you'll have everything you need to make your own cement tabletop waterfall!
To make this handcrafted desktop waterfall fountain I use mainly cement, sand, plastic bowls and Styrofoam. For water circulation, I used a submersible water pump. It's fun to make and you can use it as an awesome decoration. N°48
✅ Supplies :
Styrofoam (or Thermocol)
--- Thickness Base: 4 cm
--- Thickness Wall: 4 cm + 2 cm
Wood Glue: White Glue
PVC Tube (for pump) : Lenght 30cm, Inlet Diameter : 6mm
Plastic box: 0,5 liter
Plastic planter: 12 liter
Fine mesh 2mm: 0,5mx1m
Sand: 10kg
Ordinary Portland - Masonry cement: 20kg
✅ Nb: Use a SAFETY MASK during cutting the Styrofoam with Soldering Iron!
✅ The ratio of a concrete mixture :
2 cups Ordinary Portland Cement
1 cup Sand

Note 1: I corrected the spout shape of the bowls without video shooting. I'm sorry for that. 🙏
Note 2: To avoid cracks, while the concrete project is drying, be careful not to expose it to the sun. It is better to cover it with a cloth to slow down the drying.

Oh, I have one wish: Could you please add a list of all the materials you used in the description of the clip?
For example, in this video it was easy to catch that you used a DAS paper modelling clay but was this just a random choice or does this brand have specific benefits in comparison to others? Excuse me if this sounds stupid, but these details would make the description much more informative. At least for beginners like me.

This is so beautiful! I love how you can make it indoors without needing crazy tools. And the sand molds are brilliant! You took such an artistic approach to this fountain and it made it extra special. I've watched many vids on diy fountains looking for ideas and I've never seen one yet, doing it this way, I love it. 😊 Question though... Can you possibly use silicone to glue the PVC pipe inside the styrofoam instead of wood glue? I'm thinking it might be a bit more waterproof? 🤷 I ❤️ your work.. and the idea someone suggested doing a "fantasy theme" one , perhaps with a dragon shooting out water as the fountain waterfall part as it's "fire" from its mouth would be awesome!!! Thank you for the inspiration 😊
