I think Ray Dalio is the most qualified to talk about bitcoin and if he thinks that it's not an effective long-term store of value then there is a high chance that it really is not. It might be profitable temporarily, looking at the volatility, but investing in great company shares will always trump buying bitcoins in the long-term, because at least those shares would have some intrinsic value.

I think its interesting talking about Bitcoin ..although I do think there are a few Cryptocurrencies that are trying to evolve from bitcoin by fixing issues with scalability and transaction fees but i think Bitcoin will always come out on top and in the future most of the planet will be invested in some kind of block chain technology!

I agree with Richard Branson for the reason ( if people have Bitcoin and want to pay in Bitcoin ) why not accept Bitcoin ! The tough part is it is not customary yet , I believe everyone still fears the ( what if i buy these things , and everyone else does not want to anymore ?) I've been curious about bitcoin and cryptocurrency for a while and especially after seeing that Nipsey Hustle invested in a company as well. I do believe that cryptocurrency is the future, but the question is how far into the future till it's the primary way of currency for the world?
Bitcoin is finite... hence can not be diluted. That is why it will continue to go up in value (appreciation)... especially since it is being adopted by big banks now. Fiat currencies continue to get diluted (depreciation... which causes inflation) and are rapidly going to become worthless as hyper inflation sets in because of all of the stimulus bills that governments are passing trying to prop up their economies. By doing this they are only hastening the demise of the current financial system and all fiat currencies. Cryptocurrency will eventually be the dominant financial medium that all peoples of all nations will turn to because it will be valuable and secure and available to anyone.

I was looking to hear from Robert Kyosaki because he endorses Bitcoin and he's been in several of your videos.... and I like to listen to him. But, you had to narrow down your choices. 😁
Bitcoin price first started to rise because people started getting interested in blockchain technology. The problem is that when the price started to rise it created a bubble. People saw the price of bitcoin rise so they bought bitcoin, which in turn caused the price to rise again. The technology behind bitcoin is great, but it could be replicated and it has been many many many times, so it's not something special. What has kept bitcoin on top it's the popularity that it has already attracted, nothing more. The huge price swings of bitcoin are due to Buying/Selling bitcoin NOT buying actual products. This creates another problem. Because the majority of transactions aren't actual products, you are just trading money with money. Which makes no sense whatsoever if you hope to implement it in society. Another problem with the cryptocurrency is that it's more anonymous. Sure this can be a good thing but when you are the government trying to make sure people aren't doing illegal things, this can be a problem. Right now bitcoin is fairly anonymous, but if it becomes the gold standard of currency it could no longer operate under anonymity, which some people see anonymity as the reason why bitcoin is so great. I feel as though people are evaluating bitcoin based on emotion rather than actual facts. Everyone wants to make a quick buck and bitcoin offers that. It offers this because **the price of bitcoin is determined by the people who want to make a quick buck.** "Hey put $1,000 and in a few weeks you'll double that money". Could bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency help the global market? yep, it can. But when it does it's not going to be bitcoin, it's going to be some other cryptocurrency that is backed by the goverment.
To understand BTC's intrinsic value, you have to appreciate the BTC Network's value. Once you understand the network's value, as well as the fact that a BTC is the proof of work towards the creation and upkeep of said network, then you can understand BTC has value. If a BTC has no value, then work has no value. Maybe it's overestimated at this time, maybe it's underestimated, that's why I wouldn't be able to tell anyone whether they should buy or not. But I'll confidently keep saying it has value.
Ah. I finally get it. As long as you believe in the software, and as long as you believe the system will never be hacked, then it will hold an intrinsic (what ?!?) value. I feel so reassured, knowing that neither of these things ever fail.
Well its more trustworthy than modern fiat currencies, which are based on number bankers make up (not even exaggerating much). Mostly cause it isn't centralized and can't be manipulated the way modern currencies are as easily.

Well i think i agree with Mr Dalio. However, i dont think you can compare to gold. The reason gold is precious and valuable is because of their ability to be used as a medium in everyday use ranging from medicine to machinery and other form of supportive material to modern technology and they can be mined. Bitcoin on the other hand was born out of a computer and intangible and cant be used for anything except the thinking behind that it has only has 21 million of it around. But the cryptocurrency can be created and so other cryptocurrencies had already been created so why is it bitcoin can be so precious like gold??? If the world one day decided to be a cashless society, it is your fiat money that sits in the bank that turns into credits that supports it.

There we go. I have my reservations on bitcoin and crypto in general, but this is one of the worst arguments one can give. You can't change bitcoin. If you decide to try and change it, it's not bitcoin anymore. You increasing the size of the coin immediately changes what bitcoin is, meaning you now have to mine the new coin. In the crypto world it's referred to as a fork (bitcoin cash, gold etc). It's up to the people mining and the buyers to choose what they want to buy. Once you "unfix" bitcoin, it's no longer the "bitcoin" you're referring to. Please don't make a blanket statement like that unless you've researched the topic a bit further.

Investing is tough quite alright but not as difficult as it may seem if you follow the basic rules and dont love or get emotional with your coins.it is volatile and scary at times as things can fly up and down at extreme rates.if you are not careful,then you risk massive looses.to ensure continuous profitability,make sure you learn ,be careful,and do not listen to stupid things crypto traders say on youtube and other forums as they are lots of speculators in the market who tell you xrp is going to the moon or BTC is at its dip and a reversal is sure and you even lose more money holding on to coins because they said so. The truth from my personal experience is that trading daily is far safer and more profitable than holding with so much uncertainty in the market.i have lost over 10 BTC value holding for one year and have gained over 23 BTC in less than 4 months, something I am sure is a daydream for most holders. The belief that a system can't be hacked is a problem . A block of an virtual currency that value is solely based off belief is a another problem. Economic systems come and go currencies come and go but tangible assets have lasted the test of time. Also the belief that going to a cashless society will level the play field is the biggest lie of them all. When this takes place it will be one system in exchange for another, no equity will take place. Mark C had the right thought on electronic currencies.

I think Ray Dalio is the most qualified to talk about bitcoin and if he thinks that it's not an effective long-term store of value then there is a high chance that it really is not. It might be profitable temporarily, looking at the volatility, but investing in great company shares will always trump buying bitcoins in the long-term, because at least those shares would have some intrinsic value.

Bitcoin is finite... hence can not be diluted. That is why it will continue to go up in value (appreciation)... especially since it is being adopted by big banks now. Fiat currencies continue to get diluted (depreciation... which causes inflation) and are rapidly going to become worthless as hyper inflation sets in because of all of the stimulus bills that governments are passing trying to prop up their economies. By doing this they are only hastening the demise of the current financial system and all fiat currencies. Cryptocurrency will eventually be the dominant financial medium that all peoples of all nations will turn to because it will be valuable and secure and available to anyone.

Bitcoin price first started to rise because people started getting interested in blockchain technology. The problem is that when the price started to rise it created a bubble. People saw the price of bitcoin rise so they bought bitcoin, which in turn caused the price to rise again.
The technology behind bitcoin is great, but it could be replicated and it has been many many many times, so it's not something special. What has kept bitcoin on top it's the popularity that it has already attracted, nothing more.
The huge price swings of bitcoin are due to Buying/Selling bitcoin NOT buying actual products. This creates another problem. Because the majority of transactions aren't actual products, you are just trading money with money. Which makes no sense whatsoever if you hope to implement it in society.
Another problem with the cryptocurrency is that it's more anonymous. Sure this can be a good thing but when you are the government trying to make sure people aren't doing illegal things, this can be a problem. Right now bitcoin is fairly anonymous, but if it becomes the gold standard of currency it could no longer operate under anonymity, which some people see anonymity as the reason why bitcoin is so great.
I feel as though people are evaluating bitcoin based on emotion rather than actual facts. Everyone wants to make a quick buck and bitcoin offers that. It offers this because **the price of bitcoin is determined by the people who want to make a quick buck.** "Hey put $1,000 and in a few weeks you'll double that money".
Could bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency help the global market? yep, it can. But when it does it's not going to be bitcoin, it's going to be some other cryptocurrency that is backed by the goverment.

Once you understand the network's value, as well as the fact that a BTC is the proof of work towards the creation and upkeep of said network, then you can understand BTC has value.

Well its more trustworthy than modern fiat currencies, which are based on number bankers make up (not even exaggerating much).
Mostly cause it isn't centralized and can't be manipulated the way modern currencies are as easily.

Well i think i agree with Mr Dalio. However, i dont think you can compare to gold. The reason gold is precious and valuable is because of their ability to be used as a medium in everyday use ranging from medicine to machinery and other form of supportive material to modern technology and they can be mined. Bitcoin on the other hand was born out of a computer and intangible and cant be used for anything except the thinking behind that it has only has 21 million of it around. But the cryptocurrency can be created and so other cryptocurrencies had already been created so why is it bitcoin can be so precious like gold??? If the world one day decided to be a cashless society, it is your fiat money that sits in the bank that turns into credits that supports it.

There we go. I have my reservations on bitcoin and crypto in general, but this is one of the worst arguments one can give. You can't change bitcoin. If you decide to try and change it, it's not bitcoin anymore. You increasing the size of the coin immediately changes what bitcoin is, meaning you now have to mine the new coin. In the crypto world it's referred to as a fork (bitcoin cash, gold etc). It's up to the people mining and the buyers to choose what they want to buy. Once you "unfix" bitcoin, it's no longer the "bitcoin" you're referring to. Please don't make a blanket statement like that unless you've researched the topic a bit further.
When you say,"mine",are you saying your mining an idea or some material substance you all decided to agree is valuable? If the creator of bitcoin has convinced you what he invented has value,he surely can come up with an idea to unfix the amount of bitcoin along with the idea of a so called esoteric reason that he made up and make you think he's right even though you don't understand his rational.
