You forgot a win: the way they shot the movie where the camera is at around the same height as a person making Godzilla and the MUTO's look bigger and much more powerful. I felt like I was actually witnessing every scene with the monsters in them.
Agreed! You were able to put into words what I was trying to say by the win about it playing out this way whether humans were there or not. The whole movie felt like it was from our perspective and we were just in the way. +1 win for you.
The director said when he was filming he didn't want any shots that couldn't have been gotten, in theory, by a person on the street. He the viewers to see what it would be like if this stuff happened in our real world.
Same here. Though I bought the blur-ray of this film, I haven't watched it yet because I don't have surround sound yet and that scene feels like it would be diminished without it.
I get goosebumps every time I see Godzilla........ Can't wait for the sequel, only in...... WHAT 3 YEARS!!!! Why did u leave Gareth Edwards, sure Star Wars is important but it can be directed by someone else, Godzilla cant
oh man seeing that scene in the theater was...just...awesome. I had the biggest smile on my face when that happened. same with the build-up to the first Atomic Breath and the decapitation at the end.
We're kind of in a golden age of Godzilla, weirdly. Shin Godzilla, this film, King of Monsters and the anime movies? You may not like it all, but this is some of the best Godzilla we've gotten, ever
honestly tho the anime movie was a let down imo. starting was alright, second part was ok too but the ending sucks ass and especially the design of ghidorah was ass
And we're getting godzilla vs Kong as much as I loved seeing all the other greats in King of the monsters, godzilla vs kong is what iv been waiting for
Additional win: The movie does a good job presently the MUTOs subtly as sympathetic antagonists and makes them feel like real animals. We see them cuddling each other and during the fights there is lots of intimidation and defensive poses. Plus, these two rely as a team in battle, with the female acting as the main brute force and the male distracting the opponent. In fact, the reason they ended up losing the final battle was because tgey got seperated once the female MUTO got distracted by her nest being destroyed and even stopped for a while to mourn the death of her unborn babies. This puts a little bit of tragedy into their story. They were fighting together, but they died seperated.
The MV does a surprisingly good job at it. The MUTOs nuzzling each other when they meet, Female MUTO crying in rage when she's sees her babies burning. Not gonna lie, that moments was really sad. Even though MUTOs needed to go, but still.
There were four points at which the theater erupted in cheers for this movie. Godzilla's revealing roar, the first wind up for the atomic breath, the Kiss of Death, and Godzilla getting up at the end. Personally I was bouncing up and down like a hyperactive kid when I saw that bright blue glow come over Ford's face. I KNEW that it was about to happen and the payoff after all the build up was glorious. Just seeing that happen when the 98 version left it out. Oh man it just filled me up with glee. If your movie does that in the theater you KNOW it's a good movie.
You know I felt the same way seeing the new one that just came out. When I saw Ghidorah the first time, I had the same reaction. When Rodan broke out of the volcano, I had the same reaction. I grew up on the Heisei Era godzilla since its what my mom grew up on and to see the somewhat campy godzilla turned into the hero once again, but in a more realistic way got the kid in me hyped
@@PotholedAxe9985 same, I also teared up when Serizawa and Mothra died. Also the sound design of the Muto stalking Ford and their mating sounds reminds me of the monsters from A Quiet Place.
Something a little more understated I really liked was Elisabeth Olsen. She was probably the most compelling character even though she didn't have much to do she felt very real.
@Mark Donald in the shitty 1998 Roland Emmerich version of Godzilla, Matthew Broderick suggested luring Godzilla into a trap using fish as bait as he looks onto a big pile of fish, he says "That's a lot of fish" as if there was some kind of joke we were supposed to laugh at.
I just love how they incorporated a pipe organ into Godzilla's roar, it added a level of majesty and hope to it, and that's exactly what I want out of a Godzilla fighting for the people like that.
You missed one of my favorite little things about this movie. The aircraft carriers are going alongside Godzilla - and he completely ignores them. He genuinely sees them as not a threat and, therefore, not a concern. You shouldn't fear the big guy that lashes out at everything; you should fear the big guy that has sized you up and is not worried about you at all.
I think you should be more afraid of the latter guy. But you should probably still be afraid of the big guy that lashes out at everything...since he's already attacking you.
Also, to answer your question: "Is this Godzilla?" As a lifelong fan, I'd say yes. Yes this is Godzilla. It brings back the fun of some of the older incarnations of Godzilla, battling it out with other monsters. He's really shown off as a force of nature in this movie, like in Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964) and other films from the Showa era. It takes itself really seriously, it doesn't have the camp of the later Showa films. It does all this really well. With inventive new enemy monsters, a cinematic universe that ties in with the new Kong, will include a rematch of Kong and Godzilla, AND bring back classic monsters such as Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, I'd say this flick was a good opening to that, and reintroduced the character in a faithful way. Was it the dark, gritty nuclear warning of the 1954 film? No. It wasn't like the original. But it certainly WAS a faithful American adaptation of Godzilla. All of Godzilla's trademarks were present and updated. He was a huge, powerful monster. He LOOKED like Godzilla! He looked like an updated Godzilla! He wasn't a giant Velociraptor running around like in 1998. He was GODZILLA! He had his trademark roar and atomic breath! He battled other giant monsters and was overall a badass kaiju! In my opinion MUCH better than the 1998 Godzilla, which, while a good monster flick, was NOT a good Godzilla. None of his characteristics were there. Tristar was interested in the name, not the character. With Legendary, you could tell that they had a love for what made Godzilla great. They treated the character with respect, and honored the older incarnations while updating it for modern American audiences.
@@Noaher256 yes he did, but he was talking about the 1st time. His character introduces Godzilla in this universe. So it's symbolic, to mention the Japanese origins of the kaiju.
@@Noaher256 Yeah, but he was talking about his character. In a humorously ironic twist, I like how, in 'Shin Gojira', they hung a lampshade on it by having him be named Godzilla first, by the Americans, and then having the Japanese accent turn it into Gojira.
The original Godzilla was an allegory for the devastation Japan suffered as a result of the atom bomb. Overtime, he became friendlier. (Especially when he, Mothra, and Rodan originally drove Ghidorah back to space.) In the original, Serizawa was the one to put an end to Godzilla. It's an interesting take to have him treat Godzilla as a savior, as well as have him discuss the atom bomb itself.
i doubt you will ever see this but i cant believe you missed this scene but my favorite is when godzilla and our human character actually see each other godzilla is on the ground tired and looking beaten and when he looks at our human character he looks sad like hes failed the people or something it blew my mind to see godzilla express relatable emotions that scene alone is worth 1000 wins
Exile Studios I thought it didn't fit the character at all. Godzilla wouldn't do that. And the way he gets knocked down is an injustice to his character as well. A building wouldn't hurt Godzilla.
eh, this was a two on one fight so he was at a disadvantage from the start...the fact he killed them both is still very Zilla in the end. plus how fast he went from down to back up relates to one of his powers...he regenerates REALLLY fucking quick
I like they showed us as little as possible in a monster film. "What do humans fear?" "What can not be seen." Minimalistic view of them, showing it shaking, through small openings, perspectives of humans and on small screens in the film makes them more not only scary but also believable.
+Maxx Madd Exactly. And it's a working trick. Today horror movies and monster movies and similar are so busy showing off all their great monsters and Killers that it's far from as effective as movies such as Jaws or Godzilla was.
I agree that the less you see of the monster the more build up and scarier they are but the thing that this movie does is that it tugs WAAAAAAY too much on that string. If I were to tie a tenner note on a fishing line and I moved it everytime you tried to get it, for the first 10 mins maybe you would try and chase it. But after say 30 mins you just don't care anymore and go home. That was this movies problem, by the end I was so bored and impatient that I couldn't care, never mind the fact that the last big fight is covered in smoke. I want to see this iconic monster fight in the glorious CGI and the masterful cinematography, not be going "Is that him or is that just a giant smoke ball?"
***** In film there is a place for realism and there is a place for fiction to take hold. Do you really wanna watch Thor with some twat behind you going "The nordic gods never existed!! This isn't realistic" all the time? This is kinda like the trope "Rule Of Cool" where if an action or setting is really cool and awesome, the viewer can allow their suspension of disbelief to stretch a little just because whats on screen is really cool!! I know that Captain Jack Sparrow would not be able to do all those stunts on ships simply by cutting a sail line, but the result is so satisfying and awesome to watch that it doesn't really matter if its realistic. As long as it matches the tone and the broad limits of the movies universe, certain rules of realism can be bent a little.
the main person who was this unlucky/really lucky in real life, Tsutomu Yamaguchi. Survived both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings during World War II.
@@IDKeffect82 Into the beheading of the MUTO makes this godzilla a force to be reckoned with, I believe somewhere in this film they mention that the MUTOs are merely prey for godzilla which is terrifying
Sasque Enchilada So a 2 year old knows what satire is? It's technically a 'who' they're someone. Also Cinemasins isn't necessarily satire, they literally say "We're assholes". They show and point out flaws in movies and while not all sins are legitimate that's the point. It's not meant to be taken seriously and they do their job exceptionally well. Considering they're one of the most recognizable and well known channels on RUclips.
I cracked up when you passed out as the King unleashed the wide open blast on the MUTO. I thought the same thing about Godzilla's walk of shame at the end. I like Cinema Sins but it gets kind of tiresome and downright bitchy after a while. If I didn't like a movie I wouldn't spend my hard earned money to go see it in the first place. I love the Godzilla reboot and I'm looking forward to the sequels. I'm very glad to have found your channel and I subscribed immediately.
" If I didn't like a movie I wouldn't spend my hard earned money to go see it in the first place" I trust you realize this makes no sense. How can you possibly know if you like a movie you haven't seen yet?
***** That would certainly be adding insult to injury, but still doesn't explain how someone can not spend "hard earned money" to see a movie they didn't like even though they haven't seen it yet.
***** I get that, but it just qualifies the original statement to make it seem more rational. I suppose I'm just being pedantic about it. The OP didn't make any conditional claims; he (or she) simply said that they wouldn't spend any money to see something they didn't like. Not that they *might* not like, or *probably* wouldn't like, or were almost *certain* they wouldn't like. They unequivocally said "didn't like," an illogical descriptor if they didn't actually see the movie. Like I said, though, I'm likely just being pedantic. This sort of thing reminds me of the protests against "The Last Temptation of Christ" by folks who, of course, had never actually seen the thing. That sort of nonsense irks me no end.
Well, CinemaSins also Sins movies that they like very much. Just like CinemaWins wins some movies he doesn't enjoy that much. The purpose of both it to point out negative/positive points regardless of personally feelings. That being said, it's good to alternate or take a break from watching negative videos so that way you dont become a pessimist on things.
Godzilla's kill of the female MUTO was not only the greatest Godzilla kill/victory in his history, it was the greatest Monster kill/victory in monster movie history. Period.
Karen Catizone that was the most truly badass kill Godzilla has done. In the next godzilla movie (not vs kong in 2020) I'd like to see that again, maybe even a more badass kill.
Tony: Hey Friday , take a Mobius strip , render it with oxygen , if you can't don't worry I knew it won't work Friday: Oxygen Destroyer rendered , model ready Tony : Shit!
You said it best, the build up and anticipation made the final battle far more epic, not only that but this is the 3rd largest and dare I say most intimidating Godzillas to date, he may not be the biggest or most powerful, but he is certainly a monster you don't wanna see paying your home town a visit (even though it would probably be the highlight of your entire life)
ssj Kyto i'd say the most intimidating is Earth Godzilla, he's bigger, meaner, stronger and his atomic breath just decimates. Also his design and sound is similar to this one. Of course this one is Live Action and lools suuuuper realistic.
RustyRooster96 yep Earth Godzilla is the best depiction of Godzilla imo along with Godzilla 2014 (and 2019 but we'll see :3 ) As the dude who plays Tywin Lannister said in the new Godzilla trailer: *"Long live the king"*
Everything great about Godzilla (2014) 1.) Godzilla isn't an iguana 2.) Godzilla isn't ridiculously emaciated 3.) Godzilla doesn't have a huge chin 4.) Godzilla does not lay eggs 5.) Godzilla doesn't die from a few missiles
6.) Godzilla is pretty much indestructible and can only be hurt by other giant monsters. 7.) Godzilla is a male and not a saurian sea horse. 8.) Godzilla has his Atomic Breath. 9.) Godzilla lives to fight another day. 10.) Godzilla is called "the King of the Monsters".
There was talks about the movies leading to kong vs godzilla since the announcement of the legendary universe... Also since kong was the next movie released it was kind of a no brainer.. But even before all that as soon as cgi really became a thing a remake of King Kong vs godzilla was one of the things movie fans wanted to see. I'm not totally sure but I think when this releases all the main vs projects we used to talk about in elematary school has come true.. Freddy vs Jason, Alien vs Predator, Batman vs Superman and now Kong vs godzilla.. (though technically it already existed in the 90s but we wanted a new one) really only other one I can think of that's left to do is Robocop vs Terminator.. And in 10, 15 years Avengers vs Justice League (if they try that will never leave development hell🤣 unless Disney buys Warner bros)
As a Godzilla fan my entire life I will say that this was the Godzilla adaptation of my dreams, watching this movie I felt so fulfilled that this Godzilla was the same from my childhood just revamped and made absolutely beautiful by the CGI
They basically handle Godzilla like Spielberg handled the Shark in "Jaws" - and in age where Blockbusters of this type tend to show everything this approach is actually very refreshing.
I liked this movie. I understand why everybody else doesn't, but god damn for me it was all worth it. Seeing it in IMAX probably helped with that. This movie really did an exceptional job of selling the scale of these monsters in a very real way.
I don't think anybody could hate this movie, other than that they don't like the fundamental concepts of the movie like the genre or the concept of giant monsters, anyone who is open to sci-fi and giant monsters ought to love this movie even if the only thing you're going to remember is the 20 minutes total of massive creatures sending chills down your spine with their noises
Anyone who says the film was boring would probably want the shark to appear more often in Jaws. "Uh this movie is horrible. When is the shark going to appear?"
@@koichidignitythief7429 Agreed. They probably go home and watch a reality TV show or Sports. Like what? Two people arguing over who slept with who, or a basketball player slamming the basketball into the hoop for the 9 millionth time is more entertaining than Godzilla firing atomic death into the mouth of another beast? Yeah. Your opinion is invalid, go home.
I'm glad people enjoyed this movie and that it did well enough to get more movies made over here. But, I just can't rewatch this movie. The comparison to Jaws doesn't work. There's never a payoff fight with Jaws, it's functionally a different movie. But beyond that...Jaws actually had good human characters that didn't suck the life out of the movie. Honestly, the first major trailer for this movie was more exciting than the movie. That built up tension nicely. This movie...just cut away anytime something remotely interesting was about to happen. The last part was entertaining.
I also never noticed how after he shot his atomic breath down the second muto's throat, the head just detached from the body and he just held it while giving his victory roar before casually dropping it. So much awesome...
+Jurassicparkrules96 true, but supes was just being a total noob, and zod even points it out, plus it was setting BvS up. Godzilla is smart and experienced in killing kaiju so maybe he should be sat down with a civil lawyer to discuss his destructive ways.
He learned his lesson from the last time he appeared in court in '98... That's why he avoids collateral damage where he can in this one. One thing about Godzilla that has been constant since the 70s: He is a hero. A destructive one, but a hero.
Actually, Godzilla stopped being a straight up hero in the 70s with the release of Terror of Mechagodzilla in 1975. The Heisei series depicted him more as a force of nature neither good nor evil. It just so happened that every time he would defeat a monster in the Heisei series he would be doing humanity a favor (Spacegodzilla, Ghidorah, Destroyah). Pretty much every plot in ever Godzilla movie since The Return of Godzilla in 1984 has been built off of the idea that humanity need to stop Godzilla. He's just too powerful for us to do anything about and then humans end up relying on him to save their butts when a threat appears that actually has humanity in it's sights to destroy
***** In the showa series yes which is not what I'm talking about. I'm referring to the Heisei series at the moment. It could be argued they saved him in vs King Ghidorah but to be honest Godzilla has taken bigger beatings and still one the fight than in the way that fight was going. He also had help in vs Spacegodzilla but the end of that fight clearly showed that Godzilla was on another level that the Moguera mech or Spacegodzilla himself when he finally unleashes his red spiral ray and obliterates both in a few blasts
I absolutely love how when they adapted the roar to this version of Godzilla, they made the second and more lower pitched half of the roar be the noise he makes while breathing in again. Even the minute details like the flaring of the nostrils just make the end of the roar that much more believable.
You should have given a Win for the shot with Godzilla on the ground making eye-contact with Ford. I can't claim to have seen any Godzilla films outside of the 1954 original, but from what I read about the other movies I can take an educated guess and say that there weren't any other moments like this in the franchise: Godzilla actually acknowledging an individual human rather than addressing them as a collective. I can't entirely say why I like it (though the way it was shot to once again provide the pure size of Godzilla from a human perspective may be part of it), but it felt like such an epic moment for me.
Godzilla 1998 (the shit one in New York)... happens a couple times, once in the subway, once when he takes the pic of him eating fish and then again at the end.
The Legendary Godzilla feels like power to me. His design, fighting style, sounds and everything just shove his power in my face and force me to accept that yes. Godzilla *is* the king. Long live the King
Indeed- I've gotten completely fed up with Cinema sins and his BS reviews, it's nothing more than totally failing to understand the plot and deliberately skipping over important plot points in order to invent non-existent sins. You should look up Shesellsshelshells, his 'everything wrong with everything wrong with...' reviews are brilliant, really calls out Cinemasins and his BS.
Yes, but. It's satire dressed up as a half serious, half jokey-joke review; the real issue that he has another channel where he does real/serious reviews, and they are exactly the same- he pays no attention to the plot, or it goes over his head, resulting in him finding issues and flaws where none exist. Shesellssheshells addresses the whole issue in a rather brilliant way in his 'everything wrong with everything wrong with Avengers: Age of Ultron' video- it's worth checking out, trust me...
Well, Jeremy even says "The sins don't have a real value" and "We are not critics, we're assholes." I liked Godzilla, but I still wanted more screen time from the fights.
@@rebeccacummings6697 I like him, he gives Godzilla heart since the moments when he takes care of him are the only moments in the franchise when godzilla's focuse isn't on a threat or an ennemy. While kong shows emotion in his relationship with humans, godzilla doesn't because he either hates them or don't care aboout them, it doesn't mean he dosn't have a personnality, the son of godzilla helps us to see a softer side to the character while not change what distinguish him. Is the design hurrendous? YES, but he is still an underrated character with lots of potential that if done right, could be more compelling than any mothra, ghidorah or destroyah.
Yeah, I love how little we see of Godzilla but whenever we do see Godzilla it is always epic and incredible. I can’t believe that people complained about that. Seeing less of Godzilla makes the moments he’s in better
@@tylergarrett7572 Yeah it seems that the "Fans" forgot about the movie that started it all. This movie is the closest thing we have to the original in the monsterverse, but "fans" seems really not to care about the original or most of the old movies, they just wants mindless monster brawl and CGI version of overused characters because "that's godzilla". I'm sure if Honda was still alive, he would prefer this movie over kotm or Gvk because it's very similar to his filmaking style:the monsters are more like animals, trying to stay "realistic", build the suspense... Take Terror of mechagodzilla wich was his last godzilla movie, it's dark, slow paced, and godzilla dosn't show up a lot, he also fights two monsters alone in that movie, yet like G14 it's considered by fans to be the lesser one out of the "duology" compared to the other more action packed and colorful movie (Godzilla vs mechagodzilla/ king of the monsters) And it doesn't mean the others are bad, but it seems a mojority of the fandom especially monsterverse fans seems to forget Godzilla isn't just about action and easter eggs, and that it's not because a movie has mechagodzilla in it that it's a perfect movie.
@@fives5555arc I agree. Although I do think godzilla could have had a minute or two more screentime, this movie is my favorite from the monsterverse. It's hard to talk to some of the monsterverse fans who think cramming in screentime and fan service makes a good movie. I feel like the newer installments are just piggybacking off of the cheesy showa era, where it has little to no storyline, not so great acting, and just tons of fights. Although most people like to see the fights, we need a even balance of everything. I hope if the monsterverse continues, they work on putting buildup into the movies, and give it a more serious tone.
You are a Star Trek fan, and even though the new Star Trek movies are not considered 'actual Star Trek' by the fans (like you said) but you still enjoyed them and gave them their own win episodes. So please, as a Godzilla fan, let me give you the wins from a Godzilla fan's pov. I will have to be using your vid though for reference to make my point. Let's do this, I give to you- *Everything Great About Godzilla, Fan Bonus Round!* BEGIN: 0:12 I love how the credits actually have the black outs like they're covering something up. Look hard enough you can still find Toho's mark. *Ding!* *Ding!* 0:17 Again the skeleton. Godzilla is part of a much bigger world we don't know about. If this skeleton is from a Godzilla then what was that Godzilla to the one in the movie? A parent? A mate? Might explain Godzilla's son.*Ding!**Ding!**Ding!* 1:16 I got to say, like everyone else I thought Bryan Cranston was talking about Godzilla knocking us back to the stone age from the trailer, way to bury the needle on the Mutos Hollywood.*Ding!* 1:44 See how the Muto stomps his arms around getting out of that cocoon? I know that's what I would be doing, establishing my balance and shaking all the pins and needles out of myself. *Ding!* 1:50 All those metal cables running above the Muto, I love that. At least they tried to prepare for it if the Muto ever broke out. *Ding!* And even if they didn't and did it for a completely unrelated reason if still looks really cool in my opinion. *Ding!* 1:56 I got to say the Muto's design is pretty original. I know some people compare it to Cloverfield but Cloverfield has fingers, Mutos aint got fingers. *Ding!* 2:00 Bold move to make it fly instead of just making it run everywhere like the female. *Ding!* Making a couple of indents so it's not just one big paragraph and easier for everyone to read. If you made it this far, then you yourself are a win.*Ding!* 2:09 I know you took a win off for killing this guy off but he was just the hook for this movie. A way to lure in the non Godzilla fans, but in the end you watch a Godzilla movie for the Godzilla, Bryan Cranston is just the frosting on the cake. I don't think I can say anything more about this without pissing off some fanboy so I'll leave it at that. *Ding!* (still here??? good!) 2:12 Dorsal fins? Spikes? Why not both?*Ding!* 2:29 Okay, so this monster found the nuclear sub in the sea, dragged it to the island and just started to nom nom nom away at it to do it in a safe environment (you know Godzilla would find him way too easily in the sea)? That's a win! *Ding!* 2:39 He's right. EMP blasts, not every monster fights with that and I think it's a bold choice. *Ding!* 2:47 Godzilla visible underwater, that is all. *Ding!* 3:00 The train is speeding TOWARDS the monster, there is no way that is not terrifying!! *Ding!* 3:18 Now even though I am a Godzilla fan, my elder sister is a nefarious Godzilla hater, which is way I keep her away from this movie. And while the feet sound like something she would complain about I love how they carry weight with them and aren't arched like the 1998 Zilla. *Ding!* 3:31 When both CinemaWins AND Sins agree that the entrance is epic, that's a double win! *Ding!**Ding!* Now seems like an appropriate time for and indent break. Still with me? I hope so. 3:36 I do admit, I wanted more Kaiju Kombat but these monsters basically have a hit and run strategy they stick to when going up against Godzilla because let's face it, they know one on one Godzilla would probably kill them. So that is a knowing-not-to-bite-off-more-than-you-can-chew win. *Ding!* Also, Male Muto needs to meet up with it's mate and hasn't the time for a fight to the death. *Ding!* 4:23 Wait a second, is that Muto mimicking the sounds from the walkie talkie? That is awesome!!*Ding!* 4:32 Now you see THIS is what happens with Godzilla on a bridge. He doesn't get stuck! He doesn't go on top of it! And he certainly doesn't die from -BLEEPING- JETS!!!*Ding!**Ding!**Ding!** 4:53 Yeah, I'm saying it. Still a better love story than Twilight. I mean just look at how their eyes light TOWARDS each other! *Ding!***5:03** Actually I got to take a win OFF here, the military really should have known better than to fight Godzilla (and his foes) with nukes. Godzilla feeds off radiation, specifically the nuclear type. *Gind!* When he isn't using radiation for sustenance though he has been known for eating whales, giant squids, and even dinosaurs if he can find them. That's right, he aint no tuna head. (The more you know...) 5:05 That's what we're all saying! *Ding!* 5:42 Oh don't mind us, we're just fighting to death over here! Don't get in our way and you'll be fine. *Ding!*5: 46 Tail win! *Ding!* 5:47 The lightning flashing, revealing Godzilla like he was a true god of destruction. *Ding!* 5:50 That roar is all types of wins and nobody can convince me otherwise! A Godzilla roar is epic, signature, iconic, memorable, and any argument against is it is invalid. Because I don't care what you say, you can't forget this. *Ding!**Ding!**Ding!* 5:59 Oh -BLEEP-, she already laid the eggs! *Ding!* Time for another indent break. Hope I haven't scared you off yet. 6:05 You see? Ganging up on Godzilla is the only way they have a fighting chance.*Ding!* 6:14 As a kid I always used to say if Godzilla's glow could be seen from his spikes then why start at the back instead of the tail where his spikes start? Thank you Hollywood for addressing that for me! *Ding!* 6:19 The atomic breath of Godzila is always iconic and boy does this live up to it!!*Ding!* It's not a laser exactly but it does show Big G is more than just a beast-brawler. *Ding!* 6:28 See that? That is Godzilla's "I am going to kill you!!" face! And every Godzilla needs to acquire one at some point! *Ding!* 6:31 I gotta Win that one too. Godzilla's tail has been a well known club in the past and it's nice to see the tradition carrying on. *Ding!* 6:38 This scene is so epic it made our CinemaWins guy pass out from literally too much awesomeness! And he's right to do so! *Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!**Ding!* Actually I don't think I can Win it as many times as CinemaWins, feels redundant now! *Gind!* HEY GIVE THAT BACK, INTERNET!! 6:52 Roar of Triumph!! *Ding!* 6:57 He's right! To us Godzilla fans he's always been cool, this movie just made it a little more obvious to those who were NOT Godzilla fans! *Ding!* Still with me? We're almost done! 7:03 I wouldn't say that's Godzilla's 'Walk of Shame', I like to think he's just feeling bloated from Nuclear radiation.*Ding!* 7:10 Great ending indeed. What better way to end a Godzilla film then to return him to the sea? *Ding!* Final thoughts: I know some people were expecting this to be a remake of the OG black & white Godzilla movie, but hey, that's Shin (or Resurgence) Godzilla is for.*Ding!* Me? I just wanted an American Godzilla movie which was a step up from the 1998 movie, and I gotta say-mission accomplished! *Ding!* I know some are still a fan of that movie but I have to say if anything I went easy on that thing in this. Moving on, having this be an actual monster rumble was the icing on the cake for me! *Ding!* I know a lot of fans were expecting him to be our enemy this time around but the fact is he wasn't here for us this time. We weren't the ones who -BLEEPED- up this time, the Mutos were... by procreating... and wrecking everything... and- YOU GET MY POINT! *Ding!* Maybe next time. *Ding!* I knew this movie was branching out to a new audience and I decided I wouldn't let any negative opinions they have change my judging of this movie no matter what. Imagine my surprise when I saw some people in the theater actually standing up and cheering when Godzilla delivered his kiss of death. And when the credits rolled it even got a standing ovation!! *Ding!**Ding!**Ding!* Like I said before, some wanted Big G to be our enemy in this and not our hero; but here's some food for thought on this: All those city citizens are probably going to die from Godzilla's background radiation. *Ding!* Ultimately my fear for this movie was that it wouldn't be remembered fondly of in the test of time. Back in 1998 everyone loved that Godzilla movie but now everyone's letting it have it. However, this time around I have more faith for this movie because when the worst criticism is "Needs more Godzilla" then that makes me think it will be okay in the long run.*Ding!* We might just get our wish in the sequel. I mean, I want to see what this universe's KIng Ghidorah and Rodan look like. Don't you? *Ding!* All in all I guess it depends on if you want to give this Godzilla a chance. I think we'll be rewarded for it... unless he of course he loses to King Kong again. In which case I will bare the full force of my Godzilla Fanboy Fangs. Although this movie certainly could have used more monster fighting, what it had was pretty good. Also gotta love how some people treat all the older movies like the holy grail, when really they weren't. The only thing that could possibly make half the baby godzilla movies more 'godzilla' than this is the fact that they were made in japan.
I honestly loved this movie, like Cinema Win’s said the cut always are what for me made the last fight better. If you got fight scenes every time the last fight wouldn’t be as impactful. But yeah the older movies weren’t as good (I mean some of them were made in the 80’s and 90’s, so cgi and adaptations wouldn’t be that good)
The fact that everyone agrees that Godzilla's entrance in this movie is cool is amazing. The intense build up to the scene, the small hints that signal that he's coming like the water rushing in to the airport, the planes catching fire one after the other and the pin drop silence when G-man puts his massive foot down and finally the roar! One of the best scenes in the entire Monsterverse!
Jurassicparkrules96 Yes he is! Aaron Taylor-Johnson has no charisma as the hero. I couldn't even care less about him at all, he's just bland and unlikable. Compare that to Bryan Cranston, who has way more charisma and investment than his son.
honestly i know this is an unpop opinion but this is the best godzilla movie after the US rehash of the original godzilla and the original godzilla movie
What a lot of people don't seem to realize or seem to ignore is that the way Godzilla 2014 was done is really how a majority of Godzilla films tend to be outside of later and/or finale films (especially bombastic ones like Godzilla: Final Wars), especially the first one, which this film obviously pays plenty of homage to, and Godzilla actually showed up *less* in the original "Gojira" film than he did in this film (IIRC, something like a minute more in this film than the original).
I agree. This is a wonderful monster movie. The people that hate on it wanted more Godzilla, but too much more would’ve been overkill. These same people probably hated Jaws. And that is absolutely ridiculous.
I love it. mainly because it was done right instead if that uhhh 98 disaster (I love zilla but the movie is god aweful) but it is done like the older films and it's great for doing that.
As a huge Godzilla fan, I can tell you straight up that this is Godzilla. That "thing" from the 1998 movie, that's was definitely not Godzilla. But in this movie, they nailed who and what Godzilla is.
The sound design was one of my favorite parts of this movie! The bass used was incredible, it actually makes me think that maybe most of the sounds giant monsters would make would be out of our hearing spectrum. Makes the movie WAY more realistic for a science buff like me.
Godzilla did have little screen time here. But they introduced and presented him and the MUTO so good that they look so real and terrifying. The same feeling when the first time I saw T-Rex broke out the cage...
As a fan of previous Godzilla films, even the bad ones, this is the only Godzilla movie to surpass the original for me. A wonderful reboot, and a very good movie in general. Oddly the realism of it made the whole movie more impactful. To the people who complained about Godzilla being different than in the past, I think we should all remind them of the ridiculousness of other Godzilla characters. Let's hope that the sequel to this movie doesn't include godzuki/minya
I like how even when the action itself isn’t the focus , it’s often not actually entirely off screen, just in the background. Very interesting way to do this sort of thing
I always enjoy your "blackout" scenes. Definitely mirrors my own experiences with this movie and the hallway scene from Rogue One. So. Much. Awesomeness!!
AT LONG LAST!!!! CinemaSINS made me want to gouge my eyes and ears out with how bad they bashed films. You are a freaking legend!!! Finally, someone who doesn't hate the new Godzilla and a phenomenal movie for 2014. I'm subscriber number 630.
+JW_Gojifan Cinemasins doesn't hate the Godzilla film. He does the sins for fun and for entertainment. You know when he actually hates a film because he'll basically say so throughout the sins. But he enjoyed the Godzilla film quite thoroughly.
Shadow07Warrior1989 But the jokes were bad and they really ticked me off. I left a comment about how they were wrong to judge the movie like they did and I got 500 hate comments.
That's the nature of the internet. When you stand against the grain, EVERYONE who stands with the grain will pour the hate on you. Cinemasins videos are purely for entertainment purposes, and he does what he does because it's fun and other people enjoy it too (proven by his 5.5 million subscribers). If what he does ticks you off then you need to stop watching his videos and find something you enjoy watching, because he's not going to change his style for you. I watched his Godzilla 2014 sins video and laughed my ass off at how silly the sins were and hearing how much he loved Godzilla in the film when he was there. It was obvious he enjoyed the film and has a lot of love for Godzilla. He was just one of the fans who was disappointed that Cranston was killed off and didn't care for Ford or his journey. That's all.
Shadow07Warrior1989 Oh I stopped watching them after they posted their Jurassic World video. That was the final straw. I commented and left and never went back. I honestly do not see how people can find that kind of entertainment funny. What you see as comedy, I saw as perverts wanting lap dances all the time and nitpicking the tiniest, most obscure thing they could find. I don't hate the guys who made the channel, I just hate the channel itself. It's like with critics, I stopped with them and I feel so much better.
I think they wannet to give this Godzilla reboot a “cloverfield” style action Thats why people think we didnt get enought godzilla, still yea. Legendary pictures made Godzilla cool again
I just found your channel and I freaking love what you do, man! It'd be awesome if you did King Kong (2005) and Rise & Dawn of the Planet of the Apes sometime in the future. Both have new movies in production so it'd be awesome to see some love given to them while the hype for the new movies is building!
How did you not mention the scene where the MUTO realizes that the main character blew up its eggs, and he gets saved by Godzilla himself? That alone is worth at least two more wins!
This was definitely one of my favorite Godzilla adaptations ever, and it had me grinning from ear to ear the entire time from Godzilla's reveal onward. I love Godzilla, and this movie made him feel huge and powerful and totally made up for the shit show we were given in 1998/1999. And as you said, Brian Cranston is ALWAYS a win.
THIS channel should have 5 mil subs instead of Sins. Only watched two vids so far and I'm already digging where you go with movies that, while greatly liked, do have flaws that don't really warrant highlighting and ruining the enjoyment of a great film. Sub. Scribed.
cinemasins is fun - i love the nitpicking i laugh my ass off cinemawins is for loving the movie n looking at positives n feeling good abt urself :) so both are amazing :) :")
to me the best shot in this entire film of great shots is when the lightning flashes with its accompanied single music note and shows the silhouette of godzilla right before the big fight. so awesome
Maybe, but people also like honest opinions, like how in the end of his videos, he gives legitimate reviews on the film. That makes him a totally different person from Cinemasins, who's style in trashing movies makes him seem more like a narcissistic jackass, even if it is for comedic purposes.
+CinemaWins Oh shucks I'm blushing.
i couldn´t stop laughing when you passed out
Me either! What kind of sadistic humans are we?
The director said when he was filming he didn't want any shots that couldn't have been gotten, in theory, by a person on the street. He the viewers to see what it would be like if this stuff happened in our real world.
I like the fact that both CinemaSins and CinemaWins agree that Godzilla's entrance was awesome.
I like that they both agree that the nuclear ray(blue fire breath) decapitation was utterly amazing.
Me and my brother cheered like kids in that scene.
Well it's kinda hard not to feel that way
Because it was awesome.

GODZILLA'S reveal at the airport is one of the most epic scenes ever. I still get goosebumps every time I see it.
Same here. Though I bought the blur-ray of this film, I haven't watched it yet because I don't have surround sound yet and that scene feels like it would be diminished without it.
+Skull1Hunter
I don't have surround sound either, but it's epic nonetheless every time I see it
ME TOO! I literally get goosebumps when he roars.
I agree
Definitely
MechanicPluto24 both them and cinemasins would be amazing
honestly tho the anime movie was a let down imo. starting was alright, second part was ok too but the ending sucks ass and especially the design of ghidorah was ass
And we're getting godzilla vs Kong as much as I loved seeing all the other greats in King of the monsters, godzilla vs kong is what iv been waiting for

i think this just proves that moive directors watch cinema sins so they were like "okay lets not get sinned this time"
Additional win: The movie does a good job presently the MUTOs subtly as sympathetic antagonists and makes them feel like real animals.
Exactly - they aren’t evil, just animals! Solid analysis.
People where I live are boring even for infinity war and endgame not a single tear or gasp
*Hehehe, “The Kiss of Death”*
@@PotholedAxe9985 same, I also teared up when Serizawa and Mothra died. Also the sound design of the Muto stalking Ford and their mating sounds reminds me of the monsters from A Quiet Place.
Reasons why I fall for this movie:
1. beauty shots
2. attention to details
3. sound design
4. monsters design
5. Godzilla's first entrance!!!
Something a little more understated I really liked was Elisabeth Olsen. She was probably the most compelling character even though she didn't have much to do she felt very real.

With all of the problems in this film in the end I'll still Take "Let Them fight" over "That's A lot of fish" any day
@Mark Donald in the shitty 1998 Roland Emmerich version of Godzilla, Matthew Broderick suggested luring Godzilla into a trap using fish as bait as he looks onto a big pile of fish, he says "That's a lot of fish" as if there was some kind of joke we were supposed to laugh at.

Richard Ferguson Godzilla knows he’s the king.....he isn’t worried about anything.
This is because Godzilla protects nature, he doesn't see humans as a menace until they destroy it too much, so he will attack
@@josuealmeida9571 I think you're thinking of Gamera
Yeah that scene was epic!
I think you should be more afraid of the latter guy. But you should probably still be afraid of the big guy that lashes out at everything...since he's already attacking you.
6:36 notice how he loses the charge going up the spines on his back as he uses the atomic breath? Nice detail there.

I died in the theater at that breath scene. Most people did. Totally worth it.
Its not godzilla
How?
The only thing i like about 1998 version is the cartoon
@@xKanadeTachibanax how is this not Godzilla? Thats exactly what this is

Ken Watanabe said it wouldn't have made sense if he was saying Godzilla's name in American way.
Christophe Tam even though he’s called him Godzilla several times off camera in interviews
I wanna watch this guy and Cinema Sins try and do a video over the same movie just to listen to the arguments.

Heck, yes!
Tyrant Gregcag i knew i was not alone
Exile Studios
I thought it didn't fit the character at all.
I should mention the main character would probably die after being so close to Godzilla due to radiation.
I like they showed us as little as possible in a monster film. "What do humans fear?" "What can not be seen." Minimalistic view of them, showing it shaking, through small openings, perspectives of humans and on small screens in the film makes them more not only scary but also believable.
kinda like the original JAWS.....didn't really see the shark till the end ,but then you were terrified anyway...lol.
*****
In film there is a place for realism and there is a place for fiction to take hold.

I cracked up when you passed out as the King unleashed the wide open blast on the MUTO. I thought the same thing about Godzilla's walk of shame at the end. I love the Godzilla reboot and I'm looking forward to the sequels. I'm very glad to have found your channel and I subscribed immediately.
" If I didn't like a movie I wouldn't spend my hard earned money to go see it in the first place"
I trust you realize this makes no sense.

2.) Godzilla isn't ridiculously emaciated
3.) Godzilla doesn't have a huge chin

The only good part about 1998 was when it dry humped the building and roared. I take that back, thats the only decent part.

And in 10, 15 years Avengers vs Justice League (if they try that will never leave development hell🤣 unless Disney buys Warner bros)
lol there already was an old movie about them fighting
As a Godzilla fan my entire life I will say that this was the Godzilla adaptation of my dreams, watching this movie I felt so fulfilled that this Godzilla was the same from my childhood just revamped and made absolutely beautiful by the CGI
Amen brother. I felt the same way and still do. I almost died in the new King of the Monsters trailer
Dumb idiots
They basically handle Godzilla like Spielberg handled the Shark in "Jaws" - and in age where Blockbusters of this type tend to show everything this approach is actually very refreshing.
I love how when Godzilla does the tail whip, you can hear bones breaking
4:21 that sounds is out of this world, simply amazing
Him: "They made Godzilla cool."
Me: "Godzilla was always cool!"
I think he meant America made Godzilla cool.
The late 90s Godzilla wasn't even close to cool.
Though there are those who debate it's existance.
@@chrisbingley there is no 90s godzilla in Ba Sing Se
No, not really
@@tanner201x8 Yeah, there are a few bad moments, but still mostly cool!
And what do you think of King of the Monsters?
I'm glad people enjoyed this movie and that it did well enough to get more movies made over here. But, I just can't rewatch this movie.
The comparison to Jaws doesn't work. There's never a payoff fight with Jaws, it's functionally a different movie. But beyond that...Jaws actually had good human characters that didn't suck the life out of the movie.
Honestly, the first major trailer for this movie was more exciting than the movie. That built up tension nicely. This movie...just cut away anytime something remotely interesting was about to happen. The last part was entertaining.
6:49 I love Godzilla's roar. High pitch, then drops an octave and becomes more of a growl!
I also never noticed how after he shot his atomic breath down the second muto's throat, the head just detached from the body and he just held it while giving his victory roar before casually dropping it. So much awesome...
man of steel: what about all those poor people?!
godzilla: FUCK PEOPLE! MOAR MONSTER FIGHT!
***** Rodan isn't human and that was the movie prior anyway so at this point it's just one of Godzilla's powers
I absolutely love how when they adapted the roar to this version of Godzilla, they made the second and more lower pitched half of the roar be the noise he makes while breathing in again. Even the minute details like the flaring of the nostrils just make the end of the roar that much more believable.
i really like what they did with the mutos, they weren't just some evil thing that destroys stuff because evil
He does in one movie - But that human then gets obliterated
A Giant Pacific Octopus Which one?
Can't remember the name but it has King Ghidorah in it
The 90's version of 'Godzilla vs King Ghidorah', happens near the end iirc.
That moment when the win counter gains 34 wins in 3 seconds. Perfectly captures how I felt watching that scene
When i first watched this movie and saw Godzilla charging up his atomic breath, I was in tears.
I screamed and almos past out
I like how his atomic breath looks like actual breath and not just a lame "big fucking laser "

This is totally Anti-CinemaSins, and it's funny for that.
+SuicideNeil you do know cinemasins is satire, right?
+SuicideNeil oh, i didn't know about that, i thought he meant his main channel
Well, Jeremy even says "The sins don't have a real value" and "We are not critics, we're assholes."
I liked Godzilla, but I still wanted more screen time from the fights.
the win counter nearly breaking after Godzilla finishes the Muto. Yeah. I'd have done that too XD Too fucking epic.
“Everything Great About Godzilla (2014)”
*The whole movie*
Q: What's great about Godzilla?
A:Yes, also everything.
@@UNSCPILOT Godzilla’s son was not great, did you forget about that?
"He distracted them long enough so godzilla doesn't get killed'
HERETIC!!!!!!!
"san francisco, what? where are we?" Just...priceless.
This movie is just like the 1954 movie. It barely shows Godzilla they always build up to him and many other things.
Personally, he's not in the movie all the time, but he's still the star of the film. Everything revolves around him.
Take Terror of mechagodzilla wich was his last godzilla movie, it's dark, slow paced, and godzilla dosn't show up a lot, he also fights two monsters alone in that movie, yet like G14 it's considered by fans to be the lesser one out of the "duology" compared to the other more action packed and colorful movie (Godzilla vs mechagodzilla/ king of the monsters)
And it doesn't mean the others are bad, but it seems a mojority of the fandom especially monsterverse fans seems to forget Godzilla isn't just about action and easter eggs, and that it's not because a movie has mechagodzilla in it that it's a perfect movie.
Let's do this, I give to you- *Everything Great About Godzilla, Fan Bonus Round!* BEGIN:
0:12 I love how the credits actually have the black outs like they're covering something up. *Ding!*
Making a couple of indents so it's not just one big paragraph and easier for everyone to read. *Ding!**Ding!*
Now seems like an appropriate time for and indent break. And he certainly doesn't die from -BLEEPING-
JETS!!!*Ding!**Ding!**Ding!** 4:53 Yeah, I'm saying it. *Ding!*
Time for another indent break. *Ding!*
Still with me? We're almost done! 7:03 I wouldn't say that's Godzilla's 'Walk of Shame', I like to think he's just feeling bloated from Nuclear radiation.*Ding!* 7:10 Great ending indeed. What better way to end a Godzilla film then to return him to the sea? *Ding!*
Final thoughts: I know some people were expecting this to be a remake of the OG black & white Godzilla movie, but hey, that's Shin (or Resurgence) Godzilla is for.*Ding!* Me? Time for the Tally-

Mother of all long comments on youtube..
Tl;dr : It was good
The sound design alone should have gotten 100 wins.
Yeah, Erik Aadahl & Ethan Van der Ryn (Transformers) are absolute geniuses when it comes to sound design.
they actually put the godzilla roar on full blast on a ton of speakers that's how they got it they did get complaints though
But yeah the older movies weren’t as good (I mean some of them were made in the 80’s and 90’s, so cgi and adaptations wouldn’t be that good)
best fatality ever. energy blast through the mouth
I watched this movie in the theaters when it came out and if you feel immersed at home you have no idea.
Hahaha that passing out moment made me laugh.
"there could even be a godzilla vs king kong someday" this guy has some foresight
I can't wait for the Godzilla King of the Monsters video
I don´t understand why the Godzilla movies are so under-rated! They´re awesome!
Not really underrated, more or less viewed as too cheesy. Which not everyone is.

Because people wanted to see more Godzilla but instead they got 90 percent drama
Did it contain little Godzilla? I don't know since I haven't seen it yet.
It would've been better if they had Bryan Cranston as the main hero instead of his boring emotionless son.
It's definitely the best version of Godzilla, that America has ever done.
wait which one
What a lot of people don't seem to realize or seem to ignore is that the way Godzilla 2014 was done is really how a majority of Godzilla films tend to be outside of later and/or finale films (especially bombastic ones like Godzilla: Final Wars), especially the first one, which this film obviously pays plenty of homage to, and Godzilla actually showed up *less* in the original "Gojira" film than he did in this film (IIRC, something like a minute more in this film than the original).
cropathfinder I hit the like button if only to respect you giving your opinion.
I agree. This is a wonderful monster movie. The people that hate on it wanted more Godzilla, but too much more would’ve been overkill.
These same people probably hated Jaws. And that is absolutely ridiculous.
6:54: I'll have you know, Mr.Wins, that Godzilla has always been cool. And he has been cool for 65 years.
He's just getting cooler and cooler over time, also that roar and atomic breath are facemeltingly good
65 years?! Damn, he’s so old.. yet still getting cooler than ever!
>always cool
>cool for 65 years
idk, seems like some discrepancy there..
Except for that one year where he wasn't cool. But then technically I guess that one's not even officially accepted as a Godzilla anymore.

3:14 Even upon first viewing, I loved how the airport crowd went from screaming, to WTF!?! and complete silence. The reveal was worth the wait.
As a huge Godzilla fan, I can tell you straight up that this is Godzilla. That "thing" from the 1998 movie, that's was definitely not Godzilla. But in this movie, they nailed who and what Godzilla is.
@Sheep Gaming because the director said the original design of Godzilla was "stupid". So he changed it.
@Sheep Gaming Me personally, I don't hate it but its not Godzilla. THIS version is Godzilla. I was confused at the '98 version.
The sound design was one of my favorite parts of this movie! The bass used was incredible, it actually makes me think that maybe most of the sounds giant monsters would make would be out of our hearing spectrum. Makes the movie WAY more realistic for a science buff like me.
Even better, it's the same guys who did the sound design for Transformers.
I love how realistic scenes are when it’s just quiet, no music, just silence, as if you were there in the scene yourself
So, I'm not the only one who didn't mind about Godzilla's screen time...
I never really minded it, actually loved it
I don't mind it, I prefer to have less godzilla with godzilla being epic, than have 2 hours of him that have nothing special or mess the character.
Both films directed by Gareth Edwards.
I have got to admit this is an awesome channel, I think that the Female MUTOs death is the best scene in the movie
5 years after this film came out and I saw it in the cinema and hearing Godzilla's roar in this still gives me goosebumps

+JW_Gojifan Cinemasins doesn't hate the Godzilla film. He does the sins for fun and for entertainment. You know when he actually hates a film because he'll basically say so throughout the sins. But he enjoyed the Godzilla film quite thoroughly.
Shadow07Warrior1989
But the jokes were bad and they really ticked me off.
That's all.
Shadow07Warrior1989
Oh I stopped watching them after they posted their Jurassic World video.

The noise when he kills the flying muto is insane
I think they wannet to give this Godzilla reboot a “cloverfield” style action
Thats why people think we didnt get enought godzilla, still yea.
Thanks! For sure. I'd love to go back and do the original PoTA movies as well.
+CinemaWins you should do Captain America: Civil War when it comes out
How did you not mention the scene where the MUTO realizes that the main character blew up its eggs, and he gets saved by Godzilla himself? That alone is worth at least two more wins!
3:15 mans can silence a crowd with one step
Sub. Scribed.
It's like you're reading my mind, man! Those are exactly my thoughts!
This is not as fun as cinema sins
cinemasins is fun - i love the nitpicking i laugh my ass off
cinemawins is for loving the movie n looking at positives n feeling good abt urself :)
so both are amazing :) :")
Me too. #Allin
Blind optimism to obvious problems with film doesn't make a good channel.
Way waaay wayyy late to the comments but 9 years later this is still my all time favorite Godzilla movie. I absolutely adore every minute of it.
"Lrt them fight". Another great rule of thumb like "Let the wookie win" and "If someone asks if you are a god, say yes".
I come back every now and again just to listen to 4:21
It sounded like a floor-board creaking,
And I loved it,
cuz it was creepy AF.
to me the best shot in this entire film of great shots is when the lightning flashes with its accompanied single music note and shows the silhouette of godzilla right before the big fight. so awesome
I *really* want this channel to overtake CinemaSins, but I know that it'll probably never happen.
Maybe, but people also like honest opinions, like how in the end of his videos, he gives legitimate reviews on the film. That makes him a totally different person from Cinemasins, who's style in trashing movies makes him seem more like a narcissistic jackass, even if it is for comedic purposes.
Don't they work all together. Like, the writers and such? Like, two different channels and voice over guys, but same panel of guys who work on them
I don't think so. If that were the case, I would like to see a collaboration between the two, just to see how they would argue over each sin/win.
Magolor The Internet loves hate.
TaeHobi no they are two different channels, no connection other than format.
