The leather romal reins are fantastic in crappy weather. A person doesn’t have to worry about the expensive rawhide romal reins from getting wet and then ruined. I picked this set up in a consignment store in Latigo, Colorado. (I was thrifty that day) lol. I have seen them for sale at Buckaroo Business up in Billings, Montana. The bit is Sliester bit. That company went out of business a few years back. At least from my understanding. You can find them on eBay or different cowboy trade bag sites on Facebook. My friend Joe Merrick of the famous 14 ranch down in Oklahoma turned me onto that style. His dad Walter Merrick owned one and passed it down to his son when he passed on. There is a book out there called Wire to Wire telling the story of Walter Merrick, Three Bars Horse, Easy Jet Horse and the 14 Ranch. It is a good read. I know this is long winded reply. But, I hope it helps ya out. - Travis
