  • With the latest points update and the new GHB, what unit is our most efficient now?
Updated unit efficiency chart! I ran ALL the units through some mathhammer! Haha
Raptadons still the most efficient. But Ripperdactyls, Kroxigor, and Aggradons reinforce better for more max damage.
Aggradons reinforced in Koatls Claw get the most maximum damage in the army.
    Chart is here: t.me/SeraphonW...

It's really important to factor in the Bite rolls for Kroxigor, you're getting another 1 MW per krox which pushes them into our most efficient unit pretty easily. They're also perfect to reinforce now with the new coherency and it shouldn't impact the bite rolls too hard.

These charts can be neat but a few things of note. They don't take into account the range tax, e.i. unit's ranged weapons will often fair worse than melee. Nor does it take into account other factors like general warscroll abilities, movement, health, save, monstrous actions, ect.

yep, and counting up abilitys like raptadons being always in objetive isnt real.most of times they wont be. should have done a different entry for raptadons on or outside objetive, same on agradons, and kroxigors.
and some numbers dont make sense, how rippers do 10dmg vs 4save????? that means they do like 17 dmg with 1rend, and they dont do that even fully buffed lol

@@sururu6 based on my sims a group of three rippers with all out attack, startpriest buff, and max hoarfrost on the rend on the mount's weapon put them at 10.94 on a 4+ save.
Realistically these stars won't all align all the time. Fun for theory making but flawed for list building.

@@piffling2238 yes, i understand video now, it is done with absolute every buff staked even if they are only once per game... may be fun but totally useless.
why didnt he do the table without any buff since this will be 90% of the cases they will be used, then if they are in koat and charging and cloose to sceno, then with poison, and +1hit. it would be so much usefull. despite i allready did that table on first day to see how low damage was in our new book outside kroak list

In retrospect, I still vouch for Ripperdactyls but they play like a missile launcher. They are turn 1 threat eliminators, wanting to punch up the second most threatening thing, minimizing future attrition fights your Saurus will get into

Yeah, i've seen Terradons and Rippers pop up in a handful of lists lately as that utility piece. Fast, able to score objectives, etc.

I’m going to try old blood on carny sending commands to two bastilodons with lasers, both hit on 2’s for shooting and armor 1+ for aod.

Only thing is he may want to go forward quicker than the bastiladons, have a couple of saurus nearby for the +1 hit command

Other data points that matter: number of wounds/save a unit has, and its summoning cost for Starborne. Both of those make Ripperdactyls better than they appear.

Is there any way you could do a video about the terrawings, terradon riders, and ripperdactyal units with gameplay, strategies and combos please

Solar engine was fixed in an errata to be 3 shots, 3/3+, ap -3 and damage 3. They're pretty solid for killing ranged units of 10 or so and anything with high armor saves.
Still a shame they made it so it wasn't 9 attacks though lol.

How funny, i just ended Stromkeep's video about units efficiency ! :D
Dw i also feel that will to mathammer everything on my units, especially when i cannot play :'D
Also, isn't that good to put Horafrost on hit sometimes, like for the aggradons with spears, it is better to put hoarfrost on the hit value than on the rend.

yours videos are always nice, but this time the numbers dont make any sense.
how ryppers do 10dmg vs 4save??? they do that dmg against no save at best.
or agradons, they do 10.9 2 rend dmg, so like 8.5 dmg vs 4 save.
and like this with most of scrolls.
i think you did a mistake with some formula or something because everything is doing waaaay more damage than they really does

with the buff from rypperdactyl chief they do reach that. He said he would factor that buff in at the beginning
