San Cristóbal De Las Casas Chiapas, is so amazing! I have family there and I actually visited 2yrs ago. Can’t wait to go back. Y’all should go to Agua Azul, it’s about 30min away from there. Beautiful waterfalls there.

Forested Chiapas is the site of some of the region's most spectacular Mayan ruins-at Bonampak, where intricate murals are preserved, and at Palenque, which is located in a national park. I too been learning Spanish.
I'm loving these videos so much! I was supposed to study in Mexico City for the spring term and then I wanted to visit the rest of the country, but with the whole situation with covid I made the difficult choice of cancelling it back in October and now it's hard not to regret it. It's very frustrating to know it's not happening anymore, but at least I can discover Mexico through your videos! Hoping to be able to go soon :) Stay safe!
Sorry if this has been answered already, but you're Spanish (comprehension and speaking) is SO good, where/how did you learn before arriving in Mexico? Online learning or an app or....? Gracias!
For the foreigners traveling in Mexico, you have to learn something about Mexico: carreteras libres as we call them, can potentially have (and ironically) more tolls on you than the official toll highways lol. Because of the terrible condition they're usually in (meaning more repairs and maintenance for your car), because they are more prone to blockades (only in Southern Mexico), because they're not as safe as the toll ones (meaning no police patrolling), no insurance coverage if you have an accident (in case you don't have car insurance, once you are in a toll highway, that little receipt you get when you pay, that's FREE insurance). Stay safe and don't stop traveling Mexico :)
did you run into any issues driving from Villahermosa to San Cristobal? and then out of there towards Oaxaca? I read a couple of travel posts that say there are roadblocks in some Chiapas roads. I want to make a road trip from Merida towards Huatulco, thanks!
Good for you for even attempting to drive there! I've been living in Barbados for three months and won't even try driving because of all the potholes, windy roads, no traffic lights/signs... way too overwhelming for me. Thankfully my boyfriend drives us everywhere 😅🤣 loving this series!

Man.. I'm the same with cold showers! Even in hot weather I have a hard time with cold water but when it's cold it's impossible! Month ago we didn't have a hot water in England and it was around 2oC outside.. I just refused showering but my bf somehow went through it :D Really fun video, you made it fun even though it was mainly in the car.
