    Hi. I have the regular blinds from Yoolax with the DC1602 remote. My blind stopped going up all the way months ago. I hit the up and it goes down til I stop it. Otherwise it will go too far down and stops right over half way up. Anyhoo....I have tries to do what their video instructs me to do and even reset it. Now. This channel does NOTHING! PLEASE HELP ME. I CANT CLOSE MY BLIND TONIGHT.

    Thanks for your very informative video! I see product photos on other sites where the blind is partially open on the bottom (if I want to look out of the window), but both the filtered and the blackout portion is there. So from top to bottom, it's filtered then blackout then open. Based on your video demonstrating how it functions, this doesn't seem possible because it goes to filtered before raising up. I'd love to hear what experience with this is. (I'm thinking that it must be possible to do that configuration on a non-motorized system).

    I watched this video and a few others before I bought the Yoolax blinds nearly a year ago. They have been the biggest headache as just about every month I have had to remove one of them to access the button to reprogram them. What a complete waste of my time. I spent over $1,000 on these blinds and they are constantly malfunctioning.

      @@ToolsElectroDIY yes, and they’re able to give me directions and eventually I can sort it out, but I shouldn’t have to give constant attention to this sort of thing. Programming them the first time was enough of a headache. They’re constantly becoming unpaired from the remote, at which point I have to remove them from the window and re-pair them, reset the upper and lower limits, then reset the connection with Bond so they actually work. Now one of them is not reconnecting to the remote at all and I have no blinds on my window. Everyone that drives by can see right in to my studio.

    Have you noticed any difference in temperature when using it? IE does it block enough sun to keep your room cooler? I'm down in Texas and it's HOT from now until probably October - wondering if these would work as well as my current blackout curtains. Also, does your cat mess with them now that it's installed?

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  2 года назад

      Yes, it definitely helps in the hot summer time! You can get a darker color for better "blackout" :) I picked white because it looks cool. You might wanna watch my other review on the Yoolax in my other workspace/studio ruclips.net/video/hJBZ2htEseo/видео.html My cats won't mess with the blinds at all. The other video shows the blinds with fabric type, which is more damage resistant. There are so many material types to choose from!

    Are they still working like new? I see this was at least a year ago. Thx!

      Yes they still work great. I only charged once a year. I don't use them much.

    Thanks for the review. Do you think this will work for a patio door?

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  2 года назад +1

      I don't see a reason why it won't work for a door. It's a custom order so you just provide the width and height of your door on Amazon see if it goes through. If it does then I believe Yoolax will make that custom designed blinds for you!

    How long will the battery last, and how is it getting charged?

    I’d like to set it up as inside mount, but my window opening is a few inches smaller than the minimum length you can order. Do you mind setting an object to block it from fully extending by a few inches and then let me know if that causes any issues with it switching from day to night mode and back?

    Do you think we can attach this to our low voltage blinds hardwire instead of using the battery? What are the power requirements for the Yoolax motor?

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  2 года назад

      It has a 12V battery pack, so yes, you can use a 12V power supply which also matches the amps.

    could this be mounted with command strips or is it heavy?

      I would use screws. Probably too heavy for command strips.

      I believe you can set a low limit without hitting the AC window unit.
