I was one of the many comrades in the tireless training towards the human graphic performance in Commonwealth Games 1998 too! So proud of the given opportunity & the experience was priceless.

Up until that time, touted as the best opening ceremony in any Games, ever. The SGM Human Graphics was the highlight of course. Many thought it was a CG.
Although I was not born in that era, I can feel the glory of my country back then. I hope Malaysia will have another chance to organize the world's top sports games like this.😀✨
Haha...nope i wasn't in the human graphics, but one of the crew in charge of FnB, cleanliness as well as washing the toilets. We also direct traffic and took care of participants who were sick. First to arrive and last to leave. That's how we trained since 1995.
It is the theme song "Forever As One", they sang both the English and Malay lyrics. You can try searching "commonwealth games 1998 song forever as one"

I still remember, my jaw was dropping when i saw it in SUKOM opening ceremony back in 1998..it was so spectacular!
