My new favorite channel as I've recently taken an interest in motors and sensors. It all started with buying a couple of cars with CAN problems that no one could fix. There's not enough people that know how to do this stuff.
That was an awesome video thank you for taking the time to make it. Not going to lie in the beginning I thought you were condemning the motor too quickly thinking possibly a set of bearings would be able to return it to service, but seeing the arching at the end made it obvious you were making the right call.
Steve, i really like the videos as they are very informative........but you guys really need to turn up the volume on your microphones. On the last 3 or so videos of Picoscope's that I watched,, including the one linked from an email this week I had the volume on my PC at 100% to hear you. On one video I still couldn't hear and abandoned the attempt
Very nice to see the cause of failure & arcing, I’ve condemned plenty of motors & power electronics on insulation tests interesting to see the test in action with a stripped down motor. Would be nice to see a similar testing & failure of the electronics video.

Brilliant work Steve very informative video and looks like a must have tool for in depth EV diagnostics

Good work Steve!
How do I get the set of leads you use here with the milliohm tester. I would like to see that avaible for us to get!
Solid work Steve
Excellent explanation MT03A nice tester.
Brilliant video
Great Job steve
Miliohm is less then 0 ohm ? That’s a little misleading but I get what he’s saying
