Nice to catch up with you Lynn. Ooo some gorgeous stitching and charts - thank you for showing us. Take care, happy stitching and see you soon, Teresa 🧡🧵💛
I just found you on floss tube today, and I enjoyed it so much. I am a retired teacher in Ohio, USA. I like your Alice piece and many others. So nice to find you.😉
You are a very talented cross stitch maniac. Your work is beautiful. Love the elephant. So cute. My great grandparents were from Lincolnshire and Norfolk. Would like to visit England one day.
Loved seeing your WIPs and finishes.. The Mirabella and Nora patterns are lovely (and similar). I find that the finishes are WAY more lovely than the actual patterns 🌸And I like how the patterns/finishes appear in the upper right corner of the screen, can catch the details easier that way 🌸 #subscribed
I was like you, my biggest quest was one day to get to America. I finally managed to get to California in 1995. I also went to New York in 2017. My god don’t you do some walking. If I ever won the lottery I would probably go every year. LoveLy set of wipes, you really do a lovely video. Lots of different styles which I do find interesting to watch. I also do different styles as it keeps you interested . Thank you for uploading , I do think in time you are going to have a lot of followers on this channel x
Lovely to see you again Lynn. Beautiful projects. I was to go to America in April for the Prim stitchers retreat in Asheville, North Carolina but Covid put paid to that. I'm so envious of all their fantastic stitching shops and retreats but we are very lucky to have some great online stores here too.
Love all your projects. 500 patterns is a great collection. I have about 100 patterns and a few CDs, so I may be up there with you! It's fun to look through everything,, whether I'm looking for a new project or just because. I'm originally from Eccles. My family moved to Australia in 1969 and I moved to the US 6 years ago.
Your stitching is lovely. I love how your Christmas sampler is looking. I always admired that fairy piece from L and L. Can't wait to see your progress with it. That's quite a bit of Mirabilia/Nora you've got there! Lol. You've got to get a few of those beauties stitched up!! Always amazed with your stitching. I love the variety of your pieces.
What a wonderful variety of projects. I love when stitchers stitch diversely. Happy to have found your channel and looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful stitches. Greetings from Massachusetts. :-)

Have a great day.
Hi Lynn,I have just watched all four of your videos and enjoyed them so much.A feast of beautiful stitching and charts😍Tina,of Fancy Lady Cross Stitch mentioned you on her recent video,I am so glad she did.I have cross stitched for 27 years and took up knitting in 2017 in my late fifties.I live in east Cheshire literally on the border with Warrington borough,11 miles from Warrington. I am looking forward to your next video😊
I have stitched two of the DMC Silhouette pieces - ‘Early Shift’, the coal miners arriving at the pit. My grandfather and his five brothers were miners in Co Durham, my great grandfather survived a pit blast in 1909. Coal mining was also the main source of work in previous generations of my husbands family in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The other kit was ‘ On the Beat’ , the postman and policeman on their rounds. My dad was a postman for over 30yrs. They were lovely, atmospheric pieces to stitch and a good way to commemorate our family history. Your stitching is beautiful Lynn. Keep safe
Yayy I am so happy you are joining our Alice SAL. It is a great stitch! I have put it down for a bit of Halloween & Christmas stitching but plan to get back to it after Xmas. Love seeing all your projects 🥰
Hi Lynn I’m glad to hear you were called back to work, even if it’s only a few hours/days a week. I’m astounded by all you accomplish - and it’s all so beautiful. Your Alice start is really pretty. I love the snowy owl - just stunning. Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
Beautiful stitching Lynn...glad you are working some...lovely parade of patterns...I appreciate how much stitching goes into them...best wishes and happy stitching ❣️
Oh,no. You have two of my unicorns. Lol. I wish I had gone back to cross stitching sooner. I feel the same way about the UK and Ireland that you do about the US. And someday I will make it there. I have been to Okinawa and twice and loved it. I should say I lived there twice for a total of six year. I look for charts that represent the Uk and Ireland and you are right there are not as many choices as US.I have been watching your videos since watching first one yesterday, and there goes my resolve to stay away from Miribilia’s but I was already hooked on getting some Nora Corbett’s. Love all the series with Gigi, Electra, etc. And Miribilia’s Aquamarine Mermaid will be mine this week on EBay.
Love your winter owl. Beading is so pretty. 500 Charts!? Wow! I've never done a Mirabilia chart. They look so complicated. Your stitching is beautiful Thanks for bring doing Flosstube. Love to hear from you and what is going on in our life,
Beautiful stitching as always! The owl ornament is stunning- your fabric is perfect and I wish I could finish as neatly as you do! Sorry to hear you suffer from anxiety, so do I. It's been a challenging year for us! Stitching brings me comfort too. Hope you can continue working. Stay safe x
Beautiful stitching! I can't wait to see the American Flag finished. I am thinking about doing that for my hubby's room. So happy for you getting to get back to teaching. I hope it lasts and they don't have to close the schools down again. Have a great weekend stitching.
Hi. I really liked seeing your projects. Thanks for sharing them. I can't wait to see all of your charts. Lavender and Lace is one of my favorites and I am looking forward to your next video.
Hello Lynn from Alaska! It is interesting how people including me get very interested in other countries. I would like to go England. One of my brother's have been there several times. I really like the owl, the beading and One Nation and all the Mirabilia patterns. Can't wait to see you again. Beside work I'm am only at home.
I am obsessed with British culture and history!! Your projects are so pretty. I’m going to stitch a Wives of Henry the 8th piece starting in January❤️🧵❤️
I feel the way about UK that you do about America! I got to finally go 3 years ago and it met all expectations we loved England! Cant wait to get back!
Beautiful stitching. That owl is stunning! You have a great collection of Nora and Mira's. I love the patterns, but I am not sure I could get them done.
Its always nice to see your wide variety of projects. I must get out my State of the Union after the holidays. Thats when I plan to get back to y rotation.
I really enjoy watching your FlossTube. I live in Michigan, USA. As much as you would love to visit the United States, again, I would love to come to your country. Have a wonderful weekend. I hope you are able to continue working. I was suppose to start back this coming Monday. I am a lunch lady at our high school. Yesterday the school board decided to remain virtual until January 2021. I am disappointed. Someday things will go back to "normal" .
Lovely work and video. Glad you’re back to work part time. Our cases in the US are rising. Hubby has been working from home since the start of Covid. Can you share how you do your pieces that are like a flat fold to stand on, please. My daughter is doing some pieces that she doesn’t want to frame and I’d like to help her with putting them together. They’re mainly Christmas pieces and I have plenty of Christmas fabrics since I’m a quilter. I’d love to be a pen pal. ~~ Karen, Yorktown, VA
Ok. You’ve inspired me! After looking at the Mirabilia charts, I am going to do one. I’m going to try and find the freedom one. I’ll let you know when I start-I may need some support! Lolol
Your stitching is beautiful! I hope that all of your crafting brings you happiness amidst the ongoing challenges in the world. Question: Is stitching with beads easy? I see that you have beads on some of your pieces. I do not own any charts that call for beads but have often thought of just adding some on my own. Any tips for cross stitching with beads or is it very straight forward? Best Wishes!
Thanks! Stitching with beads is easy but takes time - you just need a thin beading needle and some thread that is a similar colour to the beads. Just do a half cross stitch through the bead. I usually start beading with a small stitch to secure the thread.
Hi Lynne! I thought I recognised Darwen Tower from your opening shot! My son and family live in Darwen - we are quite a way away in Suffolk, but we do visit often (at least we did, before Covid!) Just wondering if there is a LNS that you use? I used to go to Minerva Crafts but I think they are only online now. It’s a beautiful part of the country- hope we can get back up there soon! 😃😘
I love everything you have shared today but really would like to know where I could get the Gone Fishing silhouette chart since I can't seem to find it in the US? I would love to stitch this for my husband!
Hi Lynn, great video as usual. Hope the supply work is going well.I just wondered what fabric you were using for Alice, you may have mentioned it but if so I missed it.
@@LancashireStitcher Oh good, that was what I was thinking of getting. Yours looks so lovely that I just had to get the chart. Thanks for letting me know.
Love your Mirabilla charts...a quick question...I can only do up to 18 or 20 count aida cloth...I just can't do any linen... so that being said how would one of these look on aida? They look so delicate and not show how they would be on aida but would love to try one. Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks so much love your videos!!
Thanks! You should be ok stitching Miras on aida - there are some half cross stitches, but you should be able to do them on the aida without much trouble.
Hi Lynn, lovely flosstube. Do you stitch with a hoop or a stand? Ive tried all sorts of frames, hoops and in hand. i either get achey arms, hands or neck so cant stitch for long periods.Would love to see your set up.
Thanks! I usually stitch with a plastic hoop, but I also use q-snaps and stitch in hand. It depends on how big the design is or how much stitching I’ve done on it...
Love your video’s thank you! Quick question I’m down in Gloucestershire and for the future when we can get out and about do you know of any retreat/get togethers that happen in the UK as would love to attend one at some point. Stay safe x
Thanks! There are some retreats (in normal times), and there are Facebook groups for them. If you search on FB for UK retreats, I’m sure you’ll find them.
So very glad you are back at work. I so enjoy your videos. Look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks. Have any of your children inherited your love of cross stitch? I too am married to an unhappy golfer!
Hello, i only found your channel few days ago so im slowly going trough your videos. Ive been wanting to buy the same playstation remote for my son, its been in my basket for weeks, can i ask how big is it? And also I'm about to do my first Nora corbett pattern - the letter A. Ive got all the supplies just waiting for the chart, its in the post. Im a begginer, do you think I'll be alright with this? I didnt want to go full big Mirabilia so i also got two pixies coming but want to do the letter first and cant wait
Hi, the PlayStation controller is 107 stitches by 66 stitches, so will be 17.2cm x 10.5cm on 16 or 32 ct fabric. The letters from Nora are perfect for a beginner, as they aren’t too big or detailed. Enjoy!
I loved seeing all of your lovely stitching and your charts. Thank you for sharing...............
