@BIGsilvercup it's because the tickets were so expensive. In McGeechans book it says that the lions tickets cost 260 rand or more in SA, which is ridiculous pricing. I thought the same as you before i heard that.

Hmmm... considering that the Royal XV is an invitation team consisting of 2nd tier regional players who had only been together for a week or two, this does not bode well for the Irish and Welsh Lions.
If the Lions don't pull thumb, the Boks will win the series 3-0.
