Even if you are a volunteer. Use it! If you give directions to traffic, they must be clear, simple, and snappy. A bit like your honor guard. Not that half-hearted pointing somewhere, like at 0:44. Point directly to the driver and then authoritatively what he should do. Gladly with an emphatic charisma: "You, go there, now! No arguments!" Same when you give stop signals. Outstretched arm, hand raised as if ready to stop the car yourself. Just try it - maybe it will help. Ride safe and stay on the bike.

Putting up hand signals in the air will attract driver awareness. a cop horn would definitely helps, blast it when you near a crowded intersection, get everyone attention as loud as you can use horn siren anything.

I once moved out of the way of a fire truck only for the moron behind me to literally take my place and block the fire truck, the total gormless look on the driver's face when I shouted at him was unsurprising.

As a motocross rider you have great control and technique on the bike. Being patient yet accelerating in a urgent matter during an emergency, seconds can count sometimes so good job 👍🏼 Still think those bikes need a rumbler siren the drivers are horrendous just like here!
