Another very useful video bro. Just reinstalled it after watching you. Frames 2 used to make Conan Exiles judder badly so switched it off and went without. Just tried Lossless and it doubled my frame rate. What a difference. Many thanks good sir 👍
Amd needs to add an option in the overlay settings to rotate overlay 90 degrees for devices like the Legion go, and many other handheld pcs that have a portrait display
Yo if you want that then you got to search for any videos that talk about the software (MSI afterburner) it's a overlay that does that look into that and that'll help 👍😎
Whats your controller settings in cod ? I used the xy axis settings on legion go controllers. Works pretty well. But cod controller settings needed as well please
up to you, but both don’t work perfect with every game, lossless might work better with one game while AFMF 2 don’t work as well with same game and vice versa
It’s only $7 and trust me it’s worth it. When I first got my legion go a few months ago, I found out about lossless scaling and thought it would be a waste of $7. I finally watched a bunch of review videos like this and most of the games I play had an FPS jump of about it 10-20 frames plus smoother gameplay
@@UNSPOK3NMENAC3 no stuttering, it doesn’t improve graphics though, it improves frame rates. It’s frame rate generator that adds extra fps to make the image look smoother. For each game you play, you gotta tinker with it though
Your main arguments against AFMF 2 are basically invalid, especially the "randomness" of framerate when moving around a lot. Changing the search mode to High and the performance mode to Performance will fix these "issues."
Trying to manufacture a fair fight out of a situation where no such thing exists. If you have a Z1 or a 7,000 or 8,000 series chip you can run almost every game with 4x frame generation & get virtually no fracturing no graphical bugs no input lag. I tested out more then 50 games from game pass ran 4x frame generation with lossless scaling & it worked every time. There’s no reason to stop at 2x. If you actually monitor the most recent iteration of lossless, virtually no difference in performance exists with these modes. 2x 3x 4x all of it performs the same. Running lossless at 2x or at 4x will produce basically the same exact result performance wise. 4x won’t cause more strain to the system then 2x. If you can run it at 2 you can run it at 4 & lossless running at 4x is something AMD’s tech can’t touch.
It definitely does cause more strain, x4 decreases your base fps way more than even x3, the only reason it wouldn't decrease your base fps much on any mode, is if you have enough power to spare on the GPU, and I tested this with performance mode(or lsfg 1.1 instead of x2), so it already is using less GPU power than it does by default

Glad I could help

Pretty sure it will happen once they officially release afmf2
yeah think they are working on it lenovo relase it

so for you wichone is the best, AMFM 2 ora Lossless Scaling ?
I think they said Lossless Scaling was the best one.
I can seem to get the fps to show, looks jeffing good though hopefully sniper elite 5 will run good
whats overlay tracker you using
Great video quick question I can’t seem to get fluid motion to work it keeps saying inactive even though I’ve activated it in amd? Any suggestions
Afmf 1 doesn't work on the legion go because of its portrait screen
@@oofnut123 so how is he getting it to work in the video then?
@@ScBjjnr thats afmf 2
@@oofnut123 that’s what fluid motion frames is ain’t it AFMF?
@ScBjjnr afmf is amd fluid motion frames yeah but there is a preview version for the 2nd one

Yes don’t need need internet to use afmf or lossless
Hey I have a question do you know how to solve the fullscrenn issues on the legion please ????

@@JahsonENT Do you think that one day it can be fix ?
