One of the best designed food processors in existence - extremely reliable, compact, powerful and always delivering great results for little money! Very good and durable plastic parts and quality stainless steel elements. Made in France! Used to sell them by hundreds back in a days - not a single defect or customer's complain (contrary to similar Philips junk). They just don't make them like that anymore... :( -Still using mine periodically - works great!
What's the problem? It might be easy to fix. Mine wouldn't detect the lid was closed. I opened it up, removed the contactor completely and connected it directly. Now it's a bit dangerous because it will turn on even if it's not closed, but it works great !

Tive um da Philips Walita que durou 8 anos e infelizmente no início do ano passado a caixa de redução dele estragou pois o planetário dele tava todo gasto
