Its beautiful and sad that he has this theme again. Its Bryans old song. He's tried to gst AEW and WWE to pay for it, but the band asked for too much money to use it. And now that Bryan is on the verge of retirement, Tony Khan shelled out to give Bryan his theme for his last full-time run. And the song itself os fitting/sad as it IS the final countdown for Bryans career
@idkmybffjv Bryan used "The Final Countdown" in RoH as his theme when he first became a wrestler. RoH let wrestlers use any song they wanted because they weren't on tv back then. It was just a big indie. Too small to be noticed by the people who owned the music to demand royalties or licensing fees. The band. 'EUROPE, ' charges alot to use this song, which has been used in movies, tv, etc... Bryan wanted WWE to pay that fee so he could use this song. They said no. Too expensive. AEW said the same (but they paid the fee for a few one-off uses). Right now, Bryan is about to retire. He's getting older and had a history of injuries. He was out for over a year in WWE for a neck injury where he lost strength and movement on his arm and was risking paralysis. Then he was forced into early retirement months later for concussion issues. Byan stopped wrestling for years. He kept seeking treatments and found a doctor who said he looked good enough to wrestle. WWE was hesitant about letting Bryan go back to full time competition, and AEW didnt mind the risks. Bryan's getting older, has children. And his neck injury is back. Strength decreasing in arm. Etc.... He's doing his last full-time wrestling run now and is getting surgery after. He might be back someday for 1-2 matches a year. Undertaker style, but this is the end of his regular run. Tony/AEW are paying the high licensing fees for Bryan to have his old song again as a nice gesture show of respect on Bryans way out. The song is calles "The Final Countdown" and thats what this is. Counting down the days/weeks before Bryan is gone. Which sucks From an article todaybon Ringside News "That’s not all, as The American Dragon even used it following an episode of Dynamite last month and even used it for his most recent match. It is to be noted that playing the song costs AEW $200,000, but Tony Khan feels it’s well worth the price." Thats A LOT to use a fn song

Tony Khan paid for the song... but did ao because Bryan is on his retirement run and is almost done as a competitor. This is a kind gesture on his way out. @@alystar3287 nope. He has used this in AEW a bunch. He used it for his debut in AEW and for the months after that before he joined BCC. So nope, not just bringing it to AEW. Try again
