Hey everyone! Quite a few of the videos I post aren't monetized, or are monetized and claimed by a different party. I do this next to a full-time job, and especially the compilation videos take much more time. If you enjoy the content and would like to support it, I would greatly appreciate it! You can do so by buying me a coffee: ko-fi.com/SC2HL or supporting me monthly on Patreon patreon.com/SC2HL . Many more videos are coming! I currently have an Excel of around ~100 compiled strategies that are ranked and rated. If you have any suggestions, do let me know. Best, Daniel
Tastosis commentary about Kaijus and dinosaurs makes it so much better, I don't think any other casting duo spends as much time talking about things unrelated to the game lol
I could not pay attention at the fights in the last game because i was laughing too hard at Tasteless and Artosis casually talking about kaijus and jaegers. XD
It's a good question. Someone such as Maru, Byun, or Clem would have kept playing. Innovation may have felt that the economic damage would leave him lost.
I feel like he knew he was screwed from experience. He's got 4 army supply consisting of 1 hellion and 1 widow mine that just friendly-fired his scvs. He still got the barracks producing marauders, and the constant harass coming from other units across the map. You can see in his production tab that he's got no unit coming up. That's a lot.
@@fredericmong1049 It is true that he was left with a lot of disadvantage. I didn't notice the production queue, you're right. The truth is that it seemed like a ragequit to me because of the friendly fire because it was right after. ^^ I guess they're already over those tantrums and do things more coldly. Thanks!
In general MULEs are too valuable to use like that. Casting it on your mineral line gives you 225 minerals over the course of its lifetime, which is a major economic advantage. And repairing a BC from even 50% health with a single MULE would take 32 seconds, so you would need multiple MULEs depending on how fast you want to repair and how many BCs you have. When you only have two Orbitals at most 7 minutes into the game (meaning max 8 MULEs if both are at full energy), and you might need a Scan (especially to kill Creep Tumors), then that's the absolute worst way to use your MULEs. There are definitely situations where calling down a MULE for repairs can be handy, but it would have to be a make or break situation or if you're a madman like uThermal. Throwing away the potential economic advantage of an extra 225 minerals can literally make the MULE more valuable than a Battlecruiser.
@@LordKelvinX2086 Ah, I guess I didn't realize how valuable they are. Sometimes I see pro players call the BCs back for repairs, or even pull SCVs to the front-line, which is not free either (both cost of SCV and lost mining time). In that case, my though was that a MULE was much faster and easier
I am never impressed with terrans at pro level. They always seem to not be that great but thanks to their OP and EZ race it carries them on to beat players with far better skills. Terran has been OP since day 1 never mind the literal easiest race. SC2 is a good example of how bad developers can be. Since the release of SC2 they are the most obviously biased team ever. Terran has had the most OP things that are simply mathematically proven to be imbalanced. The fact they have free workers aka mules was only the tip of the iceberg that thing has never been balanced. The fact that the other 2 races need to spend actual money to get workers as opposed to a race that can simply drop them for free despite them having no money ... is huge. The fact that terran does not need to wait for them to build is huge. Protoss and zerg still have to wait for them to build. Zerg has it the worst because zerg loses all its production when it has to make a round of drones. That is like terran or protoss no being able to make their military units or anything other than their workers for 1 minute. Its a huge disadvantage to the point where its just blatantly imbalanced. You see it again with things like supply drop. Again terran does not get punished for playing bad instead they can instantly drop free supply depots. So this means they need NO money to do it and again they do NOT NEED TO WAIT for a build time.... unlike the other 2 races. I could go on about 100 other things that terran life a piece of cake but the entire race is like that. You got scans.... no need to waste real units... that cost resources... instead you can use scans which cost no resources.... and the worst part is scans have no counter.... if zerg or protoss want to scout the other player can kill their scouts... but nope not with a scan..... again how the hell is that balanced in a rts game where scouting is vitally important. Its actually more important for a race like zerg because zerg can literally kill themselves without scouting. If they make to many drones... they die... if they make to few drones they die.... their units are weaker.... so you trade worse typically all game long... and you will need basically 2 armies to kill their 1 army later in the game. Yet as a zerg you will not have the supply. So you need to attack let that 1st army die and attempt to remake a 2nd army that can finish the job. But all too often the game is seen to be so imbalanced that it does not matter you cannot win. Terran= more powerful units, still can prodice fast later in game by simply making more production buildings which negates zergs myth of remaxing. Its a myth because you never really have the remax if you are playing a game as you see above its tooth and nail and you never really are remaxing you are making units all game long.
"Terran is mathematically proven to be imbalanced because mules are free" Also terran: had significantly less mineral income than zerg and protoss throughout the game, accounting for mules, AKA, terran has free worker's and require it to have any semblance of an economy "Scans exist and have no counter" Also terran: only mobile detection is an expensive spellcaster and there second highest tier, as opposed to a literal supply depo or a perma cloaked unit on factory equivalent, and are a complete shot in the dark whenever you try to use them for scouting "Zerg has to cut unit production to build drones, its like the other races taking a minute to build only workers and nothing else" Also zerg: doesn't need to spend money on production structures that aren't bases, only take 30 seconds between macro cycles, can build units and drones at the same time, and still rebuilds and builds units and drones significant faster than both of the other races Dude, i get it, terran has stuff you don't have, and you think thats imba. But terran is balanced around those things, they are specifically weaker in the items where scan and mule and supply drop exist, so it's simply not the same as if zerg was just given them. Also amazed you can be unimpressed at terrans when a good 70% of zerg micro is just Amoving, as opponent to the massive amount of stutter stepping terran has to do for everything which isn't a seige unit.

I love your videos!! keep up the good work
Whats interesting is that the missle turret can be unmanned and it can also be used as a communication tower
Tastosis commentary about Kaijus and dinosaurs makes it so much better, I don't think any other casting duo spends as much time talking about things unrelated to the game lol
Not like, tournament casting, but I love LAGTV for the same reason.
I think we can all agree that the real MVP of this video was the cameraman at 21:05
11:57 that gigabrain random scv got as many kills as the mauraders did
yeah that was probably the most pog strat out of this video lol
poor Solar couldn't catch any break lol
7:57 because gumiho was in the military, that's why haha
Just when I was looking for something to watch :D
I feel like whenever I see solar vs maru here it's Maru completey beating him senseless.
11:39 that Marauder literally got knocked off the map 😂
I could not pay attention at the fights in the last game because i was laughing too hard at Tasteless and Artosis casually talking about kaijus and jaegers. XD
The casters for the last game are always super entertaining!
Something about the Queen massing Zergs being demolished anyway brings such joy to my heart 😂
Love these videos. Even as a Zerg player.
Maru the best terran player of the world
Did you do inno's 2 starport BC rush against Maru? Coz that was actually 500IQ with how he placed the buildings
0:26 DREAMS COME TRUE
Gumiho watches uThermal 😂
Are we ever going to see one of these that features Penguin Brothers ?
Hey Hi all. Sorry for the noob question; Why did innovation give up so soon?

nice
Solar: Am i a joke to you now?
Take my engagement points.
I wonder why GuMiho doesn't use a MULE to repair the battlecruisers close to the fight, rather than flying back

Bunkers defend the best when they're left completely empty
TERRAN STRATEGIES LMAOOOOO
Almost all the best terran strategies are againts solar bro jajajajaj
😎
Zerg OP
Greatest strategy is to focus on something real and not lose your time with computer games.

Kinda poor casting imo they didn't really cover the game lol. Also not that much insight given
