Unbelievable the cave keeps on giving
Grinderman is the best thing to happen to music since Grinderman.
I ve seen this man live...2005...I was ill with the flu... when i left the concert i was fine! All the energy he has is amazing!! Pure raw energy :)
I absolutely LOVE the look and sound of those guitars Warren Ellis plays in the live Grinderman performances, which took me forever to find out they're his own line he makes with Eastwood guitars, 4-6 string electric tenor guitars and, sometimes, a mandolin-mustang kind of hybrid, not much bigger than a mandolin
they are such incredible musicians. noone does this , in australia, in the world. ''oh hey we are just gonna go into your studio and play around a bit cheers" they are so fucking loud. louder than metal. the sound. and i also like there is a lot of under noise in there too with the electric bazzooki warren ellis plays. he's a sound maverick. nick cave is just a star, pretty good lyricist also.
shit, there is a full load of testosteron in Grinderman's music. just listening to this song reapetedly makes my beard grow faster :D thanks a lot guys!

@StrangerhoodTV no doubt about that bud, i was actually a bit sceptical about whether they would be able to better the first album (which took me completely by surprise, i thought the Birthday Party were reborn lol). But then i got my hands on Grinderman 2 and thought "Grinderman are no longer a side project". Up there with the Bad Seeds
at the beginning you can see warren using a digitech jamman and a boss rc 20 followed by two more digitech jammans. not sure what the reasoning is behind this but damn! 4 looping pedals.

Beautiful , wish someone could explain to me how to make that sound like what pedals etc they use and what is Nicks keyboard sound (you know that old school almost sleazy vox continental vintage organ sound ),i just picked up the guitar and am saving up for some effects pedals and would love some advice ! Thanks ,i promise i wont post any of my failed attempts on youtube:)

Ohh man ! what a perfect example with U2 ! indeed the got even worst ! you know some bands we should remember when they were good ! so good some of them decided to suicide in order to trascend in history ! thank god Nick is not the case :D
