This sport is way too underrated
not in china
I mean globally
U are right, but honestly, i think the ittf is just rly bad at advertising itsself. Most of the videos have either a horrible fps rate or a horrible quality, and this happens in 2017/2018! Thats gross... And this is not the only issue.
It's the most popular indoor sport. What do you mean?
actually in europe ye
Very interesting! Thanks for posting.
Jo Waldner!
FML SHORT ARMS>>>
yea table tennis :)
Name of the song?
Hear the sound - Henry Parsley (after 8 years haha)
im 189cm, is that too tall?
Yes you're way too tall, don't even come near a ping pong table, people will laugh at you
you're about 6 feet 2 ideal height for table tennis is 5'8"
he looks like daniel bruhl :D
cualquiera hace eso :v
Sarcasmo? :v
Felipe1636 si :v
Lol strong legs my ass
+Huey Good luck on getting speed and agility footwork wise without strong legs.
+Huey obviously strong mind is not your strength
+Huey
look at Zhang Jike's legs @ 2:26 (black shirt). You wanna tell me that those legs are not strong?
+Huey - You are missing the point. Try standing in a forward crouch position , *and* aggressively jumping to the left and to the right all the time -- do that for a full 1-hour to 1-1/2 hours (length of a professional-level match). Then -- after you do that -- please report back here on whether that requires strong legs and back! - cheers
Nzinn73 no disrespect, but you haven't played table tennis much have you. I have, and everything he said is absolutely accurate. He has won a bronze medal in the Olympics and he has been ranked number one in the world, he is a world class athlete and knows what he is talking about. I can assure you it takes very strong legs and a lot of endurance because you have to crouch a great deal on your heels. It is not easy at all.
Having extremely long arms but still being balanced- he's literally describing Xu Xin
Taller players are not as flexible around the middle. Xu Xin is quite tall and I understand what he means, being quite tall myself.
At 0:55 he says: "... that only long guys can catch". And then immediately the video shows Ma Long LOOOL
Nzinn73 isn't he 5 9? But Ma is Long!
it is laughable how the general public think if Federer come to play table tennis he will be as good
A table tennis player is basically someone with one arm bigger than the other arm ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
lol thats true. i have one too......
same hahaha
i have one too, but it's not from playing table tennis
table tennis. 💪
I love how he mentioned rafael nadal, by that we know that he actually knows what he is talking about :b
Ryu Seung Min is my favorite player of all time
Dimitri is a conservative. If you don't believe me listen at 1:35
Omg its Theresa May on her new government.
song?
It's hear the sound by henry parsley louis edwards john mcmaster and myra boyle. It's a nightmare to find the song but you can find it on Spotify, shazam and Deezer.
table tennis!!
table tennis 👍
I just noticed how Ryu really does have long arms 😂😂
I'm 177cm and have really long arms because I was a goalkeeper. Maybe I'll be good at this 😄
being a goalkeeper stretched your arms lol
Are you sure being a goalkeeper is the cause for your long arms?
Gonna need an anatomy of a tennis player video now. :)
Dimitrij Ovtcharov - best backhand in the world
+Piano NDmusic are you crazy lmao. Hes definately a great player. But best?
He lost to a kid 15 year old from China in Super League..
FZD, ZJK both have two of the best backhands.
Fan and Zhang also lose sometimes to worse players, this sometimes happens to every player...
And did I say that ovtcharov is the best player?
No, I just meant his huge backhand topspins, which are incredably strong and fast. And also his courageous use of his backhand..
During topspin ralleys.. when opponent is serving.. from far away from the table... His backhand is simply stunning.
btw ma long lost in the Chinese National Championships this year also to a 15 year old....:

i am very aware of Dragon's loss to the same 15 year old.
That doesn't make Dima's loss any less of a slap on his face.
At least Dragon and 15 year old kid train in the same provincial team. It's not as big of a loss if it's to a teammate lol. It's a loss however.
you said he has best backhand. He simply doesn't. Chinese have it pat down.
In the 90's it was a different story.
Pingpong is pingis
I love Dimi
at 16 years old and 189cm I feel kinda stable
