Agar koi Cover Version gaye toh aisa gaye.
In the past 50years, in a singing competition or otherwise, I've never heard a completely different version of an original song so well composed with excellent music arrangement yet having the actual essence of the original composition and performed with such great aplomb that too by a 14yr old girl Khushi.
I literally had tears by the end of the song because of her rendition and it felt as if she herself is the original singer of this particular composition.
Infact, it's better composed and sung than the original one which is more of a peppy dance number while this one is composed more Ghazal like (Pure Desi) and justifies the lyrics much better than the original electronic beats composition.
The tabla and sitar players are too good.
Gayiki ki adayegi bemisaal thi. Saare variations and expressions lajawaab. Wo akhir ka "Utaar Phenka" ne dil nikaal ke rakh diya along with the second last "duniya waalon ne".
The original composers must be thinking humne aisa composition kyun nahi socha.

@@yashtba6860 I don't think so. The song is a sensual song in the film which will be inappropriate to sing by a child artist in child reality show. This decision of changing the composition definitely came from creative directors of the show. The captains are not that sharp to make such decision.
