You're absolutely right, Liv. It was from the catheter. Also the blood clots were from the trauma that was done to the urethra while they inserted it. Its very common. #nurselife

You did your thing 9 pounds 😩 your amazing. That’s how big I was when born. Your both lucky to have each other 🙌🏾

You probably have the “Baby Blues” I had my first baby last year in November and when I tell you I was a emotional wreak I would cry for everything but I had some great nurses they helped a lot reassured me that it was all normal for me to cry because my body went through something traumatic.
Yesssss Liv & Will. If you look up women’s testimonies, many talk about loving home births vs previous home births. You’re in the comfort of your home, and it allows your body to run its course naturally. Breaking your water, laying on your back all of that is for the OB’s convenience, not for mom’s best interest! Laying on your back doesn’t help you vs being in other positions and using gravity to your advantage. Also, many C sections could be prevented. I have educated myself so much on this subject and now that I’m expecting I 100% plan on doing a home birth.

O Liv your not alone ❤️ I had started crying in the shower , stimulating my breast to leak then cried more out of frustration of milk pouring down my stomach. Take time for yourselves, be kind to your body, cry when you need to , and smile when you feel comfortable. Now having a 4 year old, I look back at the growth and surely laugh at the thoughts of me crying and having moments .

Congrats on a healthy baby!! I had 4 natural, no drugs..1st one was 9lb 7oz 23 1/2 in long..so I completely understand. It sounds like the epidural really hindered your pushing, I though this when I watched your birth vlog as well. Being able to actually feel the pressure directs you where to push and personally I thought it felt great to push against the pressure. For future babies definitely look into your options with a midwife. I personally think a birthing center is a great way to go if your sure you don't want an epidural. The peace of being in a home setting but with medical option, if needed. God Bless!!
