Eagle vs loon

Our Lake Vermilion loons are back after wintering on the Gulf Coast and Atlantic seaboard. We know from our 2022 Loon Count that there are at least 193 loons who call Lake Vermilion home, and we're watching two of them again this spring to see if they will build a nest.
Thanks for being a part of our caring loon community on Lake Vermilion. For the year ahead we have improved our camera and added a parabolic dish for audio to produce a great viewing experience.
