Josh not having his Dad made the song "MaPa" more emotional since in the line/lyric distribution, he was given the second verse which is about thanking one's father/talking to one's father. It would be hard for him singing those lines but still pulled it off.

My brother is a very manly guy and he's not into pop music cause we're older btw, but he heard me talk about SB19 a lot before I left the Philippines. So out of boredom he clicked on the videos of SB19 I sent him, and Pablo piqued his interest upon learning that the kid wrote most of the songs. From then on we started sharing videos and fancams with each other expressing our admiration, amazement and how we fanboy/girl over the boys because they are that good. But most of all they are the most humble and respectful boy group who are true to their craft, who genuinely care for their fans, and who have so much respect for their seniors in the industry. So how could some people hate them is beyond comprehension, I guess there are those who get their fill by just simply hating on someone for the heck of it. Thank you for reacting on this video. I always enjoy watching your RV especially about the SB19 💙. I can't remember how many times I've seen the video of the boys getting emotional and I tell you it always making me emotional as well. I don't understand why people hate them or any artists that are just doing what they are passionate about. They even not harming anyone. I got really emotional watching this again and again😭 But despite all of the hate and struggles they have been through, they still keep going, and now they are on top. I can relate to what Josh feels about his father because, from my own experience, losing a father at such a young age is so hard. I felt bad cause South Korea recognized them more than our country Philippines . Because not only Asian countries noticed how talented SB 19 , Brazil, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Germany, China, Indonesia, Thailand , and more . , Billboard USA SB 19 , Bazinga surpass BTS and fandome with the help of A'tin ! Right now they can have a career individual but still have their group SB!9 cause they manage themselves now . They wanna prove to the people how serious they are and promote Philippine music industry in the world . Kpop spends millions in dollar for one music alone plus there's a lot of support for them that's why they afford international . But SB19 their management is different cause they have freedom to explore by themselves outside their group that's why ' "Their group ' is a unique set up . OMG.. I cried too😢 miss my dad.. He's gone 2 days before my birthday last year. And mom,gone 13yrs. Everyday missing them both. This is why I really love ur '💗dad and son tandem💗' I miss those interesting convos and stories my dad had shared. Learned lot's of things since I was 3yo up to recent, 'cos dad was a pathologist,researcher journalist/article contibutor in an existing magazine in Europe and in others, was a broadcaster, judo karate black belter, an artist and lawyer. Makes me feel nice and happy when I watch ur reactions. That child and dad,feels. The affection and supportive nature of parents. Something a child that humbly proud of😔

They make use of traditional/indigenous sounds/instruments in their music, traditional dances in their choreography, & feature Filipino elements in their fashion/wardrobe.
