    What a cute quilt. Great for beginners, baby quilts or anyone just wanting a quick finish. I have an idea to use up some extra half square triangles I have.

    I would have removed those light colors from the charm pack to keep the contrast. The two color was nice. Thanks for sharing

    Thank you, Hailey. I hope to use some of my charm squares for the small size quilt for child donations. I need this pattern to practice some quilting on these smaller quilts.

    Love watching your videos you have a very calming voice and explaining instructions are made quite simplified. I am in Australia and at the moment in Perth we are having an extreme heat wave with temperatures high 30s (Celsius) to mid to high 40s so staying inside allowing me to do sewing. Thank you for allowing us to make your quilt patterns.

    I would definitely cut off the pinked edges. I find so many times that the block is not cut square with the pinked edges, so cutting them down to 4.5 and taking off the pinked edges would be helpful.

    I LOVE this, Hailey. I'm going to buy the full pattern of this one and the Charming Sawtooth pattern. Question: Can I use 5" squares from another charm pack for the background fabric? At least for the center square?

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes you can use a second charm pack for the background fabric but you may need more than 1 depending on which layout you make! The paid pattern lets you know how many 5” and 4.5” background fabric squares you need for each layout.

      @HaileyStitches I've already purchased and downloaded them both. The free patterns are wonderful but the pay for patterns are absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. Thank you again, Hailey. 🌹

    How do you press your seams open without burning your finger?

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  10 месяцев назад

      I use the tip of my iron plate to help flatten the seam! They make gloves and finger gloves so you don’t burn yourself, so maybe that would help? I definitely still burn myself occasionally though

    Why use a charm pack when your wasting one inch of fabric from each square?

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  10 месяцев назад

      I like the variety of fabric that charm packs offer. You can definitely use yardage if you don't want to trim some of the squares down to 4.5 inch squares, though!
