I was in much the same boat as you; in 2021 I could not dream my wildest dreams of doing this tower, and only this year could I actually manage to even fathom it. quite honestly, tower of elongated runs isn't that hard, most of what makes it hard is that it's also extremely punishing (more so than usual) and how it does sneak in some quite unique challenges (such as the drop back inside on floor 9's outside), on top of also being 25 minutes long at the least. I think I got lucky with this run because I only failed for the first 15ish minutes, and once on floor 6, which that was much better than any run I've ever had, I think. toer wasn't really a pain for me, because I loved and still love this tower. it's very special to me, and I don't think a tower of its kind has been realized in the five and a half years since the original was made.

I did this as my first catastrophic tower jumping from tofn and man it took 7.2k minutes over the course of two and a half months to beat it, glad that’s over.

all right, I had some things I wanted to add here but I forgot them. let me know if you'd like any clarification. footage is gone now. if you'd like to know the completion date, it happened on july 20th at around 3 pm. the webhook broke, so it won't show up in the jtoh server. if you'd like proof, I can provide it. oh! stats, riiiight. 33 hours clocked into jtoh since whenever time tracking existed, probably around 50-60 including practice. I'd guess 5 of the hours in jtoh were from before I started grinding.
