Rattlers 2 yrs at South Carolina, he played behind an offensive line that was quite frankly offensive. When he is given time, which wasn't a lot, to actually go through his progressions, he played very well. The kid is smart and is a leader on and off the field. As much as he was on his back at South Carolina, he never threw his offensive line under the bus.
What is your take on Hainer based on? Actual eyes on evaluation or just that he isn’t an SEC guy? If I remember correctly hainer had a pretty good rookie camp and pre season last year. How about we actually see Rattler preform at this level before we give him anything.

I am beyond excited to have Rattler on the Saints, I've been a fan of his since he joined OU as a true freshman quarterback and his talent was immediately visible. If it wasn't for Lincoln Riley being a pos he could've had his entire college career with Oklahoma. I will be shocked if Rattler doesn't get the backup spot, he has such an incredible drive to not only do well but to be the best he can be and he wants to keep evolving and learning and getting even better. This is such an amazing fit for the Saints!
Olave was asked about Rattler. What was he supposed to say? Rattler sucks? If he was asked about Haener, his answer would have been the same. These RUclips "journalist" videos are weird.
You’re delusional if you think his answer would’ve been the exact same😂 there’s a clear talent gap between Spencer and Jake. No teammate has spoken on him in that way since he’s been there.
Ratler will be the starter for our yet-to-be-determined head coach in 2025.
I’ve been watching Spencer Rattler for the last two years and I’ve been really impressed with the young man. Just let him learn and he will do great things for the Saints. Who Dat 💪🏾✊🏾

Hey great report I just found your site on RUclips and I subscribed. My name is Coach Bear. I’m a retired high school football coach of four decades from the Houston area and I’m now living outside New Orleans driving transportation for the construction of a big natural gas plant. I’ve had several kids play at LSU Tulane and for the Saints and was friends with Coach Ensminger the coffins coordinator when they won national championship. Jason has been played defense line for me at Clear Lake in Texas were Nasa is south of Houston. His nephew was a bad ass, typical Cajun 58 220 but power clean 300 pounds. The host spencer rattler thing, I think that was a great pic because of his history. You see Spencer went to Oklahoma and there was all this talk about him being a Heisman Trophy candidate. You know he was working with the quarterback, Oklahoma rats always watch so you UT game and I saw it with Spencer basically choked and that’s when they put in the young Kaleb Williams is now Chicago. And he just kicked the roadside. So he has a lot of anger and desire to show everyone that he was basically wrong for a bad showing or two. I watched him a little bit Carolina and I thought he looked much better than when he showed Oklahoma. Again this young man’s got ship on his shoulder and I think this was a fabulous pic. Potential this pic is enormous. A big Saints fan along with the Texans and the Jets and I’ll be them this year right here from New Orleans. Great pick and go Spencer.

Also, if you actually follow the Sains closely everyone has been saying Haener has been BETTER than rattler so far. About a day ago was the first day where I heard someone say that rattler clearly won their battle.

To early to say who's going to win. I think people are sleeping on Haener too. We legit have two potential future starters on our roster rn. Both will be on the team after camp. it's going to be fun watching both of them battle it out for the next 2-3 years. I don't wish Injury on Carr, but it would be nice if he gets a minor knock and is out for 2 weeks. That way, we could see them in real game action.

Did Hainer take a single snap in the regular season? He could be flaming garbage we don’t know but the absolute same can be said for Rattler. It’s different when the games mean something. Also Why so quick to write off Carr, while I agree I don’t see him as the guy for 10 years. Starting QBs make 50m plus now and your paying Carr 37m so at least your somewhat Cap friendly there. Also after he settled In and the injuries went away he was super solid the second half of the year. That saints team is acouple plays away from 10 or eleven wins.
