Hello and I love your art style and work. Is there an app to increase the size and put them on the wall from your sketchbook the larger ones I love that I also paint and draw I would like to see a larger scale how please and is there an app thank you or anybody that can answer and help me thank you everyone. Peace and love to all , and keep doing art work. ❤️☮️🎨🖌️🖼️
Thank you for giving me the courage to attempt art! I’ve always been somewhat creative, but art was beyond my realm of possibility. At 74 years old, I am having fun. Sometime would you do a video discussing how you know which markers to use…water, acrylic, alcohol, etc? Thank you again and blessings…
I’m so grateful and hounded I’ve inspired you somehow! The marker video is on my list! I really feel I need to share in detail what I think about all of them 😊
I love the flowers that you created by using just lines! So creative! And I appreciate your comments regarding what art is and isn’t. I enjoy painting and will never be a Monet or Picasso, but I have FUN! Thank you, Paula, for your encouraging words. ❤
Your comments regarding art being more than trying to compete with museum standard art works and more about how we feel when create resonated with me. Thank you for sharing xx loved your flower image
Great video, Paula, thank you 🤩🤗 Loved those doodle flowers so much .... and the trees... 💕🤩🤩💕 Thank you for your inspiring energy and giving us encouragement to play and enjoy !
My goodness.. that is exactly what I needed to hear ❤😢 .. this video will be a repeat for me! Until my brain remembers the words you spoke and translates them into my ❤ Thank you !
Paula I love your channel. Thank you for inspiring me and giving me ‘permission’ to just play and not feel like it has to be museum quality. I’m a beginner and often get stuck because I don’t know what to do and don’t get the results I hope for. But I do enjoy the process and your art makes me happy. 😊
I do not, under any circumstances, need more markers. However…those fine points!! I’ve never seen a marker with a brush nib and a fine point. I’ll be keeping this set in mind for someday. As always your sketchbook ideas are excellent! Very approachable. I can tell how much you enjoy your art practice. I need to work on letting the perfectionism go and just enjoy my sketchbooks. The neutral color flowers was my favorite. ❤️
Paula, I love your channel, especially your sketchbook ideas. Unlike a lot of artists out there, your ideas actually feel do-able! It's my birthday tomorrow and I'm getting my very first set of watercolor paints (inspired by you!). I can't wait to try them out and can see me trying some of your ideas today with the watercolors. THANK YOU for sharing your ideas and being such a beautiful soul
wow! The floral page is beautiful! Love it as a "mock up" too. ❣💮 Great pages and mock ups. and I agree with you ... art making for fun and for yourself is very important, and for me, a "necessity". 😊👍🏼
Yes to the prints! I am not working at this time, but how cool would it be to have a Creative Paula Print! Love the all of the pages. I especially am appreciative of the reminder to give ourselves permission to just have fun and create. If you don't like it, it's ok! I always say cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it. The nice way to say it on this chanel would be...have an artistic tantrum, draw a bridge, and turn the page...it's only paper. XOKO❣❣❣
I just got your book and I’m so excited to get started, your illustrations are so adorable, inspiring and are not intimidating like some colouring pages. Thank you so my for releasing it and letting us enjoy your creative talents. Love you and your videos all the best from Amy in Scotland 🏴 😊
Yay! Thank you so much for your support Amy! Yesss that’s exactly how I want it to feel! Even for me, off camera, it’s such a relief just coloring these simple images. I hope you have tons of fun!
I especially love the tree and the brightly colored art! My favorite part about art is the child-like feeling it gives me!!! Thank you for your videos!!! 🎉😊
I just wanted to comment and say I love how you were holding the markers at first coloring the 3rd one. When you were just laying the colors down at first! I love to do that. It's nice to hold things differently sometimes! The tree is so gorgeous!!!!!!
This makes me want those markers so much! I love the softer shades, but truthfully, your child's play page was my favorite. Thanks for another fun and inspiring video.
I LOVE these ideas. I love all of your sketchbook videos (as I might have said before 😂) but these ideas particularly, I loved a lot. I've been soooo busy for a month or two with my theatre group, but now I'm feeling ready to get my sketchbook out again!
By the way, your speech about feeling invalid about your own creativity made me feel a lot of feelings, because I've spent too much of my life with those exact feelings. Thank you for making me feel so understood, and so inspired 😭❤️
Your videos are the most inspiring on youtube! I love the sketchbook ones, especially how you share your stories so open and beautifully. Thank you for spreading this incredible energy of yours :D
Hi Paula! I've seen paintings and art projects before that looked like the tree what you drew/painted, but never known how to absolve it nor never was brave enough to try it. This paint through and explanation was sooo helpful! Thank you! Now I feel like I can do it too, or at least I have courage to try it. That's why I really like your content! You encourage me to be an artist even though I am not the most talented artist ever. Thank you so much💝💖
Speaking of stories, I once went to a painting workshop. I love painting and drawing, I know what a brush and paint are, I said why not. I went alone, I was very happy because I'm usually a closed type of person but I gathered the courage to do it. And so I came and other people started coming but all in pairs, just me, alone. It started off great, at first we were all concentrated and working but as time went on people started to relax and talk to their companions, and I was still alone feeling like a weirdo. Suddenly I was overcome with such nervousness, I completely lost myself. The topic was simple and real, in normal situations I would have done it without a problem, but then the whole atmosphere shook me, I messed up the topic, I felt uncomfortable, I wondered what I was doing here, why I even came. Basically, it was an unpleasant experience at the time. Now, more than a year later, I can't describe to myself how much I pushed myself into the unknown, took that step and did something that now seems so funny and innocent to me. That's when I told myself and learned to never give up. What doesn't kills you makes you stronger and this really made me stronger. And yes, I still have that painting as a reminder. 😁 It may seem banal to some, but at the time it seemed like a huge gray cloud over me. Now I'm working on my first small collection of paintings with great confidence. ❤ This is what I love about your videos, you give strength to others through your personal experiences, you show your vulnerable side. I think people should push each other more and support each other instead of mostly judging. Yes, we're not all at the same skill level, but that shouldn't hold us back or stop us from even trying. That's why there's practice. Practice, practice, practice. That's what I've been teaching myself this whole year and I intend to do it next year and others should too. Just go for it.🧡
Wow thank you so much for sharing this story with me! I felt it deeply. I agree, the reason for trying things should not be the result but the experience! Thanks again ❤️
Omg!!! I love ALL the drawings you made with the new markers!!! 🥹💖 They’re sooo pretty and creative, I can’t even pick a favorite! 🎨✨ You’re so talented, and it’s so fun watching you try the markers and make such cool art!! 🖍️🌈 I wanna draw like you one day!! 🥰💛 Can’t wait to see more!! 😍💜
I'm always excited for your sketchbook ideas but this one was very special because I accidentally ordered waterbased Ohuhu markers and just started playing with them yesterday. I used them with some water to create some watercolor art, it was so much fun experimenting this way.
Fun creative exercises! My favorite is the 2nd one with doodle flower art ♥ I think play sessions where you are bringing out your inner child are important for your peace of mind.
I love all these drawings, and you have inspired me. I have two sets of Ohuhu alcohol markers and brush pens, but I didn't even know that they have waterbased and acrylic ones as well. Must look into that!
That story about the woman in your workshop makes me a little emotional. For many of us childhood was a wonderful carefree time. Maybe her childhood was not a safe space for her and she felt too vulnerable going back there. I'm so glad the artistic tantrum made a small cameo this episode 😂I both hate and love to observe your frustration and how you overcome it!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the layers on this video! And yes, even with beautiful childhoods it is sometimes hard to get in touch with our past selves 😊
So beautiful!! ❤ I really loved the rainbow random abstract colors!! 🌈 The space page was cool next to it as well!! 🌏 Of course, I loved the off camera rainbow as well!! 🥰 I wanted to see the space one on a wall, too... It was lovely, but perhaps not your style? Your trees are wonderful, as were the flowers!! 😍 Colorful additions to your sketchbook practice!!🎨
Oh yay thank you so much for ordering a copy!!! Right? Is the only natural thing to do! Haha the markers look so beautiful in their case it’s irresistible!
My dear friend Paula you had me in tears....good ones when you was telling the story about the woman and thats its ok to just let go and have those feelings with art....ive had those hard convos several times ecspecially during a art tantrum...but through alot of your videos i have learnt its ok to have those feelings and to feel right through them and thats where alot of my creations have come from most of them im so excited about but some ive just dealt with....thank you again so much for your videos and all the inspirations from them!!!😊

Fun! I'm finally one of the first to comment! I'm usually last for everything! I was just scrolling through my RUclips feed and did a double take! Creative Paula had posted a Sketchbook video! These are my favorite! Thank you for sharing this beautiful work. I can see how much ❤️ you put into everything you create.
love to see more of your sketchbook ideas! i love love love watercolors. and especially the moch ups. sorry about the spelling? im a real fan. creating is helping me recover mentally from cancer treatment.

It's difficult to let go... especially if you're in a place in your life you don't feel safe (and I don't mean your workshop... I'm glad you can feel comfortable enough to draw like a child ^_^
Oh yes I agree! Thank you! That is why she stayed with me so much, I could see my past self…. It’s specially hard to let go when you don’t know you are holding on to something at all. That’s what I felt…. Now I am comfortable just playing but it was hard getting here so I truly understand 😊
HI Paula - they are all quite nice and I am making some of them (in my own way of course) and also using every color (in some of course). I really like the one where you tell about the workshop.... That's less predictable. Thx so much. I found the form finally and it's working and I filled it out and submitted it. Hoping to win (of course). Hugs.

Ok, I didn't expect the italian 😅 it was actually pretty good, just be carefully with "voglio", I feel like the "gl" is kinda difficult to pronunce for others. Also, thank you for the cute ideas❤
It's a bummer that Italian gal didn't stick around when the translator returned, so you could communicate better. Maybe a friend who did the workshop talked to her later, and she understood it better. Anyway, fun video as always. I like the super bright happy page =)
Paula, these pens are absolutely brilliant. I got them and I love them. Sometimes I find a bit difficult to blend but I managed to succeed last night. If anybody could do me a favour, give me some people jumping onto my channel and having a look at what I do and give me a thumbs up and possibly subscribe. Good job on your colouring book Paula I have it in my Amazon basket waiting for when I get paid so I can buy it. I’m planning on doing a video of doing one of the pictures in your book if that’s okay with you.?
Don’t forget to grab your discount code from the description!
What’s your to go supply for your sketchbook time?

I 100% agree that playing intuitively is so valuable!
You are so right! We all judge ourselves about our art instead of asking how we felt creating it
Absolutely offer some of your play as prints. I love when you do those mockup
Your comments regarding art being more than trying to compete with museum standard art works and more about how we feel when create resonated with me. Thank you for sharing xx loved your flower image

I love your second piece with the abstract flowers. It's very nice, and it gives me the feel of art nouveau artists such as Alphonse Mucha.
Thank you so much!
Thanks for sharing your great ideas. As always they are so beautiful. Love the flowers. ❤
Thanks so much 😊
I love adding random little squiggles and lines too, it's such a fun way of creating (and basically how I filled my entire daily doodle diary haha 😂)

I have the exact same markers. Thank you for your inspiration! I would love to see even more, please. ❤
Thank you! I will!
If you drew with the markers then used a paint brush and see how it moves with water before it dries and if it moves after it dries? They look lovely!
Ooh, I love that idea! I’ll have to try that! Thank you!
I love the flowers and the tree!
Thank you! My faves too!
I LOVEEEEE that tree
Fun creative exercises! My favorite is the 2nd one with doodle flower art ♥ I think play sessions where you are bringing out your inner child are important for your peace of mind.
They are!!! So, so beneficial!
I love this I’m getting my water markers out ❤
I’d love to have the tree in a print. It’s perfect for my cozy little house ❤

@bycreativepaula You are quite welcome!! 🥰 Go for it!! 👍 Find your own way with a galaxy look!! 🌌 Your instincts are so good!! 🤗😍
😂 I would have done the same thing! Using every colour in order! 😊 My book just arrived and I can’t wait to get started.
Oh yay thank you so much for ordering a copy!!!
Right? Is the only natural thing to do! Haha the markers look so beautiful in their case it’s irresistible!
Worked in my new Creative Paula coloring book today😊.

With water based markers you.can scribble the pigment into a pallet amd use it like watercolors
Love that idea! I’ll try it! Thank you
@bycreativepaula your welcome. Scribble a bunch. and then you can add details and darkness with the markers too straight on
@bycreativepaula also. Should be a China or ceramic pallette

I have a new sketchbook ideas video coming this Friday and a watercolor sketchbook video for January 😊
They’re all so stinking cute 🥰
Thank you so much!
💓💓 Good word!
The sketchbook videos make me believe I could create beautiful prints to hang on my walls, but mine would look like a kindergarten child! Maybe j should just go for it?
Yes! Just go for it! Have fun the rest will follow with time 😊
I really love the second one, especially blown up!
Thank!!! My favorite too!
If you ever come back to Italy, please let me know! I'd love to do a workshop!
Definitely! Thank you I hope to be back soon!
My hands and desk look like that every time I do anything! 😂 Thanks for another fun video. ❤
Haha that’s how it’s supposed to look I think! Just breaking the idea that it’s not messy 😊
Hugs.
Thank you so much! And good luck!
💜💜💜
Can u plz share the link for the materials
Hi! Everything is on the description 😊
Hi Paula, where do you get your washi tape? I can’t see anything similar.
Hi! This is the last set I got… don’t forget I stick it on my arm first so it won’t rip my paper out…

Wait, were you in Italy ?
Where was i ?

Hey! Yeah! I was in Milan for Elle s magazine Active Forum 😊
Thank you so much!
I was waiting a kazillion years for your new video to come out!! I really like those sketchbook videos.
Okay China literally banned WhatsApp so there is no way for me to every get myself unsuspended :( Is there any other way to like, contact you, Paula?
Hi! Sorry you had to wait so long! I’m happy you liked the video!
She felt embarrassed just like a little girl ❤
Yes, I guess something like that; and I know sometimes that makes us so uncomfortable; I completely saw myself in her! 🫶🏼
@bycreativepaula So relatable in many ways at any ages that is my makes me wonder what actually means to act like an adult.
@ so true!
Ok, I didn't expect the italian 😅 it was actually pretty good, just be carefully with "voglio", I feel like the "gl" is kinda difficult to pronunce for others. Also, thank you for the cute ideas❤
Thanks for the tip! I need to learn it before I go back to Italy! ❤️
@bycreativepaula no problem! You are doing great :)
It's a bummer that Italian gal didn't stick around when the translator returned, so you could communicate better. Maybe a friend who did the workshop talked to her later, and she understood it better.
Anyway, fun video as always. I like the super bright happy page =)
Thank you so much Tara!
Thank you so much! Yes they are tons of fun and of course you can make a video! Please tag me so I can share!
