I loved Gregg’s. I used to live in the UK when I was young, and I ate it after school almost everyday or fish and chips. Fish and chips are easy to make, but now that I live in the US, I can’t have it all the time. Thanks
@@kayjaylove3309 I would just buy ground pork. Season it with your preferred seasoning and buy the puffed pastry. My parents are in London right now and they FaceTimed me eating Gregg’s to tease me. 😆
@@DomBill1 You know what's funny? I used to hate onions when I was younger. I hated the pungency, and the taste. Then in my mid-twenties, I started to give onions a chance again, and now I love then. I even love them raw! It's funny how our tastebuds evolve over time. :)
Nice Rolls, but... On the box it says not to roll puff pastry, but stretch it in order to maintain perfect layering. Trust me, made saus rolls yesterday and stretched the pastry out "Perfectly puffed up layers! 👍
Superb 👍 wow! Tasty ...your choice of making dishes is simple but still it is unique because of your expert touch... great job.... make more people happy 🙏
Check out a Gregg's sausage roll recipe! So easy you will never need to buy them again...
Why would you ever want to buy one AGAIN, They are dreadful!
Anyone can make sausage rolls...but a greggs...that's a different story. Not greasy and don't crumb everywhere...perfection...

We're you able to make it similar? I haven't had a sausage roll since 2011 when I moved to the states and I have no clue what kind of sausage to buy

Love the idea of using grated onion in the sausage meat. :)
Yes, it always works really well. Onion is so versatile it’s it?! Thanks

Lovely, thanks so much for your comment
Nothing like a Greggs sausage roll
Greeg sausage rolls are full of breadcrumbs
amazing. thanks!
Veeeery welcome
Your sausage rolls look 10 x more appealing and I’m sure taste much better. The secret is to use high quality sausage meat with seasoning.
On the US version of MasterChef, a guy became a contestant by making an Italian version of a sausage roll, by using Italian sausage
Can buy pre mince pork and mix with Paxo S&O ? I think so.
You could why not
What kind of seasoning do you add please? Is it just salt and pepper?
Yes, onion salt it nice, you could always add thyme in as well
I am sure Greggs sausage meat has more secret flavouring than you have used.
You didn't state oven temp!!!! I would like to know!
No worries, 180 degrees is perfect ☺️
Would this be fan or conventional oven temp?
Did you know that Greggs sausage rolls are under 18 percent pork
No I didn’t Josh, but I do now! Thanks a lot ☺️
I really enjoyed having to sit through 15 minutes of sped up "going to the shops" filler... Oh wait no I didn't.
