  • This is an art lesson tutorial on making an aerial view of a snowman. It is appropriate for older preschool students or children . It uses a white crayon to draw a snowy background on light blue construction paper and water soluble oil pastels to create a contrasting dark blue edge on water color paper cut into three varying sizes of circles. The circles are glued on top of each other to create a snowman seen from a bird's eye view. This is a popular winter lesson for preschool students and a great way to introduce water soluble oil pastels and perspective.
