I work part-time at a local library after my teaching gig. I do it to connect further with my students and the local community, not for the pay. There is so much going on with banning of books. It is unreal.

A dad of a particularly difficult student surprises me at his work place. I suddenly had to buy a new tire and I was completely broke at that moment. I was sweating how much it would be. He came out and said “Tire’s on. No charge. You deal with enough with MY child.” At least he understood. ❤

Moar goosebumps rewrites! I taught several classes of 25 kindergarteners how to build little pinch pots with clay during my student teaching. That's how I found out I'm allergic to them. But they are so dang cute!

That is horrible! Teachers closing down their classroom libraries? But I get it. Some parents are wackos & have nothing better to do!!
