We just took a regular combo back to cusco, they ride all the time. From paucartambo to pilcopata... 2 days, first is a hard climb, and after the descend is very long... Unless you are very fit I recommend two days.
Sad to see how people destroye nature, I remember Kosñipata full of vegetation, you couldn't even walk, you needed a machete, all the trees gone, and they reproduce like rodents now, for nothing.
