I'd urge everyone to check out his NPR interview, or even the Joe Rogan interview where he goes more in depth about his plans for UBI, student debt, and climate change!
The issue I have with Booker is every time he gets to talk it's an emotional story... answeres all question "I remember... " " let me tell you a story" Is Yang the only guy that answers a question with facts or plan. not I heard... we should... I think...
I love WATCHING Cory Booker speak. His facial expressions... his intonations...his passion...the slight twinkle in his eye...the slight grin at times....how pensive he can be at times, before he responds. I love him and his passion!
Lol, I'm just nitpicking, but I'm pretty sure Germany didn't just "start" honoring all pathways. They've been proficient with technical, non college based jobs for a very long time. German engineering is a thing because of a very long culture of respecting people that are good builders. The Cuckoo Clock is a German thing, and those are pretty complex, especially for around the 1600s or 1700s. That enduring culture and economy is part of the reason why Germany has something like 1% of the Earth's population but produces 10% of its exports. I believe around middle school you start to get placed into tracks. Some kids go to college to learn abstract things like science or liberal arts, and some kids go to technical training to build things. Some people are better at one than the other, and there is no "better" path. Society needs more builders. America definitely needs to start changing our culture to respect and support those fields. Imagine what we could do with all of our money, space, business, resources, and ideas.
The otherwise intelligent women on the left asks '...Mr. Booker, you're a handsome man. You can't get much better than Rosario Dawson....when are you proposing (giggle)?' What an embarrassment for the entire female gender! Ladies, it's not all about 'the ring' or 'getting married'. Oye.
I just feel like Cory's praise for anyone he is speaking with is very disingenuous. Inserting phrases like 'I love that you just said that' or 'that is wonderful, that is extraordinary' 'every beautiful child', 'I definitely agree with that.' Maybe I prefer a more straightforward delivery. Also this is an informal interview he should let the moderator or guests lead the questions rather than changing the subject to his canned talking points.

Can't even be considered a legitimate candidate, why is NPR wasting donated money on these shitty puff pieces? I think its time for NPR to sunset itself, they now serve corporations and politicians instead of the people.
Well that’s the problem -college is oversubscribed, -it is not the only pathway to success -STEMS are the degrees with a return on investment not gender studies -refinancing means returning debt to the private sector -a good program is to have a percentage income contract for a certain amount of years.
With the rate at which liberal arts programs are being gutted from universities, the transition to trade skill training is happening anyway--albeit at the cost of nurturing critical analysis into curriculum~
