Mobius Institute's Jason Tranter provides a quick introduction to controlling vibration with tuned mass dampers. High vibration is often due to resonance, or due to strong forcing frequencies from unbalance, engines, gears and many other sources. There are a number of solutions such as de-tune or dampen the resonance, correct the unbalance or use isolation. However there is another solution, as described in this presentation. Watch this video presentation to learn more.
