Spaz Boys Comedy Honestly, it’s Child’s presentation that really won it for me in the end, even when she’s swearing she has a smile and an upbeat tone, whereas they portrayed Ramsay as getting more and more agitated. If they had kept the tone he had in the beginning, where he had to look at his schedule to even remember her name, mixed with some harsh criticism like the “Mastering the Art of Heart Disease” line then I think I might have considered him the winner, even with Child’s last verse
I think Gordon opened stronger but Julia murdered him at the end. This battle is one of the ones that shows the advantage of going second in 1v1 rap battles, being able to end on that amazing line made this a clear win for Julia even if the prissiest bitch line didn’t get her there
This is why I really enjoyed when ERB had three verses each for rappers in season 5 (I believe, season may be wrong). For the typical two verses, the first rapper is usually put on defense for their rebuttal, and this is shown most prominently in Jefferson v Douglass: he doesn’t even bother trying to bring anything new to the table and. Edit: *and* only performs a weak defense before just letting Douglass win.
Julia Child's cooking show was a front for the fact that she was an actual badass spy; that's why they made the shark repellent reference. I'll probably always like Ramsay, but I have mad respect for Julia Child.
Tbh almost all of the ERBs are banger you should definitely watch all of them Btw they just came out with a new one - mcDonalds vs Burger King My favorite is Deadpool vs Boba Fett
That cussing at the end was,so out of her character too!😂 I used to love watching her as a little kid. Her strange way of talking and voice and pretty foods were fin to watch. When they had her REALLY insult him it was unexpected and I LOVED IT!!!🤣😂
Most poeple choose her just cause she had a nicer sounding flow, because epiclloyd had to fake that english accent and it just didnt sound clean. Lyrics wise Gordon Ramsay destroyed her.
Most of Gordon’s lines were destroy her heart attack induce butter filled food all of her were attacking his personality which in a battle of chefs is lame and false Gordon is actually really nice outside his job which he takes extremely seriously
I do not think Gordon won, because that is who he is with his insults. They were weak. Julia on the other hand, was never like that on camera. Her lines in the second verse were unsuspecting which would destroy Gordon big time because he would think Julia is a pushover for the win.
4:00 “But fear my dear boy, is less scrumptious than joy” is a reference to their respective shows: ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ and ‘The Joy of Cooking’. Phenomenally subtle line that I don’t see a lot of people pick up on 😁
I love how they played the characters against each other here, and kept them true to their TV forms. Gordon is just on fire right out of the gate and ready to throw down, but Julia, who had been in show biz most of her life until age said F-YOU, was calm, cool, and collected, knowing that she had her last two cutting lines waiting to just WRECK him. And the "bon appetit" after "eat a d$ck"? That's her final line every episode for her final, long running show on PBS, so she MIC DROPPED him. Gotta love it. Edit: Forgot to ask at posting, and it may be a while, but Deadpool vs Boba Fett, please? It is just awesome.
ramsey officially won, but it was fairly close also best catchphrase i ever heard was when someone asks you for directions you say "it's up your ass and make a left"
Personally I went with Julia Child on this one because it's very similar to Babe Ruth vs Lance Armstrong where the more "passive" one goes into a full frenzy on their second verse and that what happened with Child: she was more or less calm in the first verse, but then went absolutely ham on Ransey in the second verse.
Gordon won because he attacked her book and her cooking skills where she could only attack his TV persona and then tried to make it sexist cuz he yells at women like he doesn't yell at men equally which kinda fell flat for me.
This one is Really one of the battles you have to watch at least twice. I barely caught anything Julia said first time around, not until I rewatched and caught her lines properly. She won
It's definitely a bit exaggerated for hells kitchen, but here's the thing. He's not just a super angry person. But he does get angry when people that are supposed to be experienced chefs make stupid mistakes that make things worse for the people dining at the restaurant. Now, contrast that against any of the shows where he works with kids. And he's literally the most positive, supportive, nurturing dude ever. Because they're kids, not experienced chefs, and he wants them to love cooking as much as he does!
On this episode from ERB is the battle between the two different chefs featuring Epiclloyd as Gordon Ramsay and Mamrie Hart as Julia Child. Julia Child's husband was an American Ambassador to France which was where she learned about French cuisine whereas Gordon Ramsay is a British chef known for his foul mouth
Honestly that one kinda sucked. There was so much they could have done with Batman that they didn't. Even they admitted it in NicePeter vs. EpicLloyd 2
@@tzvigross4519 i agree batman they could have done a lot better on, but sherlock has one of the best verses from erb and its a must watch for that alone
The reason Julia Child's recipes are so fatty and strange like calf brains are because it was to use up all parts of the animal and she also taught how to render fat from the parts you can't just cook and since fat has so many calories it was a great way to get your money's worth in energy and nutrition.
I still think Gordon won. a lot of Julia's 'disses' are just not fitting to gordon, showing that she does not know him at all, dissing his personality etc. when he's personality is one of his best traits. I think the next you should do is Zeus vs Thor
I always think Gordon wins this one, while Julia goes only for that he screams and is angry, Gordon goes after her whole cooking career and declares that she is a horrible chef, which as they are both chefs, I think are better and more varied disses
for me, the part where Julia really threw it away, was the 'you cant get a star on yelp' which on the surface seem like a nice enough burn, but anyone as watch Gordon Ramsay and his videos knows thats just a incredble mishit.
For me gordon won since actually went after her cooking while child pretty much went this after his personality which is only a tv persona if you have seen him with kids or his family

I think Gordon won this battle. Julia may have had some of the most painful disses I've heard in ERB, but Gordon was far more consistent, beginning to end, on his offensive. And he definitely took the battle like it was an actual Chef Vs Chef, firing shot after shot on Julia's cooking. Julia tackled it more like a TV critic playing chef, to me. Julia may have fired off some shots like a gas burner on high, but Gordon's a cast iron skillet: *near impossible to break.*
Imo Julia won because she kept her cool and her smile so well WHILE delivering those killer lines, she didn't let Ramsay get to her whereas he was just furious and frustrated throughout =P Fear my dear boy, is less scrumptious than joy!
Julia destroyed Gordon in my opinion. Her flow was more intense and she had better burns. The actress who played Julia also sold her demeanor and voice so well that I think it alone merits her some points in my book too. EpicLLOYD did a good job portraying Ramsay though, I just like the rendition of Julia a bit more.
Gordon won this won. Julia's lines went together better, but all she did was pat herself on the back and insult one thing about Gordon (his raging against chefs he dislikes). Gordon patted himself on the back, and insulted Julia in numerous ways, and while it wasn't as smooth as Julia's, his lines certainly did go well together.
I have to give this one to Ramsay, if only because one thing: Childs attacked his personality. See the thing is... Gordon Ramsay is actually a pretty nice guy, the personality she attacked? It's mostly an act. Oh sure, he genuinely gets pissed at people, but most of them are just flat out incompetent. So the thing she was attacking didn't really exist.
I see a whole lot of people saying Julia and I guess I just don't get it. Gordon's entire track was good along with a few great lines. While as Julia's were pretty weak with 2 really good lines. The line about him being the pissiest bitch in the kitchen was great and so was the eat a dick one. However Gordon was consistently beating her down. Talking about how she only spit out already made dishes, how she used such an enormous amount of butter, how he gave her the jacket just to take it back which if you don't know. In one of their shows (Master Chef) being told to give an apron back is way worse than not being given one, as that means you didn't just under performed, it means you disappointed them royally. Among a lot of other good lines from Gordon, so I think if you actually would've thought about Gordon's track versus Julia's it's obvious that Gordon won by a landslide. This is a common tactic and it's to give someone a few hard hitting lines at the end so they stick and can cloud judgement, if you actually go back and look at everything, Gordon was way stronger.
