My first songs I heard from Dimash were SOS and Sinful passion. You will be tied up like all of his "dears”. That's what Dimash calls his fans and there are millions of us around the world. Dimash was born into a household of musicians. At age 5 he began training at a music school where he was diagnosed with "absolute pitch." At age 6 he won his first piano competition. There is no coming back from dimash. He speaks 4 languages, sings in 16 languages and the only genre I haven't heard him sing is country. You really need to listen to Stranger, it's mind blowing! Welcome to Dimashland, it only gets better.
Dimash is renowned throughout the music industry as the GOAT. it still surprises me how many people in the US haven't heard of him. I guess it's because he remains steadfastly independent and won't sign to a label because he doesn't want to get tied into a genre or a particular style. Dimash remains genre free and he is just as good in every range, his baritone is rich and velvety. I would highly recommend his music video When I've Got You. I do like this duet with Hauser but I much prefer Dimash doing this alone as you lose the impact of everything Dimash can do with his voice because of the cello replacing some of the vocals.

I just discovered your channel and I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. I still haven't really arrived in the here and now😅. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. Dimash & Hauser met when they were both invited to be guest judges on a talent show for young classical musicians, called Virtuosos, last year. This collaboration came about a couple of months ago when they were both invited back to that same show. The first time they got together they performed a short version of Dimash's Ave Maria that went down really well, so I presume that s why this performance happened. This French song was the song that caused Dimash to go viral overnight when he sang it on a Chinese talent show called I Am Singer in 2017. Dimash is Kazakh & truly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist with an incredible 7.2+ octave range. I love the collab for this song too. I hope you continue with Dimash. Hauser was part of the duo of 2 Cellos. They gained renown and there are albums. He is one of the virtuosos judges that Dimash was this past season. There is an excellent show of fine young musicians performing for judges. Dimash also did duet with Pacido Domingo...the great opera singer...now 86. A treat for all involved

I recommend this song with the Digital show version to hear Dimash’s full vocal power imo its his best rendition not just because of the digital part, but because he shows his range on an unmatched level of skill that the other versions don’t seem to have as obviously,with the EXCEPTION of THIS version ( in which he shows his vocal skills matching the cellos notes perfectly). That was not falsetto. Diamsh has a range of 7 octaves & 2 semi-tones, including D8. There are two other songs sung by Dimash that include the cello. Sinful Passion and Ikanaide. BTW, Dimash sings in 14 languages. So, be sure to check cc's for English translations. I love the cello as well. I read that the cello was an instrument closest to the human voice in sound. This video does seem to prove that. SOS has become Dimash's signature song, and there are many videos of him singing it. There is always a little something different about them, but this one stands above all the others.
Hauser is a croatian musician. He is a cellos man... He was parte of the groups 2cellos with luka sulic. But unfortunately about a year ago The group disbanded and they became soloists. Look for 2cellos and their rock performance with their cellos. So cooll!!!

I discovered you as a reactor when you were first introduced to my favorite band, Tool, and have always loved your appreciation for music and your great insights. I never thought about it that way but, yes, Dimash sings what sound like crescendos to other singers throughout the whole song, but still leaves us a surprise at the end.
Fan of both artists. Hauser was 1/2 of the duo 2 Cellos and they made great music, both classical and interpreting modern music (Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, AC/DC's Thunderstruck for example). He has done solo work, and I especially like his cover of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. Dimash, of course, is a vocalist nonpareil.
I am pretty sure I've caught your channel,,,, doing a review on some older music. Glad to see you discover Dimash. As you probably know by now, Dimash has quite a following. I found him soon after her had begun the 'Singer" , in China, in 2017. He has this thing going, where HE JUST NEVER DISAPPOINTS! He does several genres so you have alot to pick from .

Hello!! Welcome to the Dimash era!!! The first time I heard Dimash I was surprised just like you. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My first songs I heard from Dimash were SOS and Sinful passion. You will be tied up like all of his "dears”. That's what Dimash calls his fans and there are millions of us around the world. Dimash was born into a household of musicians. At age 5 he began training at a music school where he was diagnosed with "absolute pitch." At age 6 he won his first piano competition. He continued his studies and graduated from the University of Classical and Contemporary Music. He has a master's degree in composition and is pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He is a multi-instrumentalist (6), as well as a vocalist and composer. He has ventured into acting, audiovisual direction, dance, advertising modeling (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has won countless awards and honors throughout his career. The most surprising thing is that he is barely 30 years old. He speaks Kazakh (native language),Russian and English and studies Mandarin Chinese. He sings in 14 languages. Dimash can easily sing a soprano high F6 note, no problem. That’s no a falsetto, it’s pure soprano head voice.

Dimash is renowned throughout the music industry as the GOAT. it still surprises me how many people in the US haven't heard of him. I guess it's because he remains steadfastly independent and won't sign to a label because he doesn't want to get tied into a genre or a particular style. Dimash remains genre free and he is just as good in every range, his baritone is rich and velvety. I would highly recommend his music video When I've Got You.
I do like this duet with Hauser but I much prefer Dimash doing this alone as you lose the impact of everything Dimash can do with his voice because of the cello replacing some of the vocals.

Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world.
He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers.
His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert!
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. At his concerts he tells the audience that he has given concerts in many countries and repeatedly emphasizes that he loves everyone in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His recent concerts were in Prague and Düsseldorf (end of November 2024). It was so amazing and it lasts more than 3 hours. I still haven't really arrived in the here and now😅. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box.
He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. He loves Freddie Mercury, but also Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Luciano Pavarotti and Eminem and you can also hear that one or the other has an influence on some of his songs.
Every time you watch a new video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing and always a little different. Not only can he sing perfectly and his performances are outstanding he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄.

Here you can hear a large part of his vocal range, as well as an incredibly awesome Kazakh instrument. The Qobys. The man who often plays the Qkobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it.
Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash can sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. But you have to be careful with this song. It gets blocked a lot😐.

Dimash & Hauser met when they were both invited to be guest judges on a talent show for young classical musicians, called Virtuosos, last year. This collaboration came about a couple of months ago when they were both invited back to that same show. The first time they got together they performed a short version of Dimash's Ave Maria that went down really well, so I presume that s why this performance happened. This French song was the song that caused Dimash to go viral overnight when he sang it on a Chinese talent show called I Am Singer in 2017. Dimash is Kazakh & truly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist with an incredible 7.2+ octave range. I love the collab for this song too. I hope you continue with Dimash. You can hear a bit of that in "Sinful Passion" with the band A-Studio, and "Love is like a Dream" with Igor Krutoy. All of these are on Dimash's official RUclips channel. Since you enjoy the cello, you may want to check out "Stranger" from New Wave 2021 as it has a Kazakh instrument that is simlar to the cello but has such a unique and amazing sound! There are so many amazing performances for so many different reasons, but my all time favorite for vocal perfection and emotion is "Ikanaide" for the Tokyo Jazz Festival.

have been a Dear for 7 years and I can give you my personal comment that I kept sharing everywhere. So: Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! Dimash has God's kiss on his heart!!!! First, Ave Maria is a superhuman vocal exception, which takes you by surprise. Being a vocal song, a pure masterpiece, the magic of Dimash's voice is unleashed in the ether and is the fire that burns the soul and heart through love, beauty, elevation and purity. The essence of Dimash's voice as in a perfect symbiosis, and the vocal chords transport you to another dimension. Second, from my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pieces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!!

Hauser was part of the duo of 2 Cellos. They gained renown and there are albums. He is one of the virtuosos judges that Dimash was this past season. There is an excellent show of fine young musicians performing for judges. Dimash also did duet with Pacido Domingo...the great opera singer...now 86. A treat for all involved

This was a fun friendship take. Dimash is an independent artist of the finest. He is an epic class singer, he plays multiple instruments, is a great classical trained composer and sometimes actor. He had also written and directed some of his MVs - high end productions.

I recommend this song with the Digital show version to hear Dimash’s full vocal power imo its his best rendition not just because of the digital part, but because he shows his range on an unmatched level of skill that the other versions don’t seem to have as obviously,with the EXCEPTION of THIS version ( in which he shows his vocal skills matching the cellos notes perfectly). That was not falsetto. Diamsh has a range of 7 octaves & 2 semi-tones, including D8. There are two other songs sung by Dimash that include the cello. Sinful Passion and Ikanaide. BTW, Dimash sings in 14 languages. So, be sure to check cc's for English translations. I love the cello as well. I read that the cello was an instrument closest to the human voice in sound. This video does seem to prove that. SOS has become Dimash's signature song, and there are many videos of him singing it. There is always a little something different about them, but this one stands above all the others.
Hauser is a croatian musician. He is a cellos man... He was parte of the groups 2cellos with luka sulic. But unfortunately about a year ago The group disbanded and they became soloists. Look for 2cellos and their rock performance with their cellos. So cooll!!!

I discovered you as a reactor when you were first introduced to my favorite band, Tool, and have always loved your appreciation for music and your great insights. I’d love to see you continue to experience Dimash. Every single performance of his is incredible, whether his is singing an operatic aria, a powerful folk song in his native Kazakh, or a fun pop song where he also raps. Dimash is a musical genius whose talent is only surpassed by his warmth and kindness. Even though SOS is one of my favorite songs, you haven’t begun to the limits of what he can do. ❤
I never thought about it that way but, yes, Dimash sings what sound like crescendos to other singers throughout the whole song, but still leaves us a surprise at the end.

Fan of both artists. Hauser was 1/2 of the duo 2 Cellos and they made great music, both classical and interpreting modern music (Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, AC/DC's Thunderstruck for example). He has done solo work, and I especially like his cover of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. Dimash, of course, is a vocalist nonpareil.

I am pretty sure I've caught your channel,,,, doing a review on some older music. Glad to see you discover Dimash. As you probably know by now, Dimash has quite a following. I found him soon after her had begun the 'Singer" , in China, in 2017. He has this thing going, where HE JUST NEVER DISAPPOINTS! He does several genres so you have alot to pick from .
Also, you might recognize the cellist from the 2 cellos…he is one of the 2,lol. They do some cool covers of an AC/DC song (highway to Hell i think) that is AWESOME!! It’s worth checking out too!! 🎶❤️✌🏻

great reaction. I love this version of SOS the best (and that's saying a lot). SOS is a Dimash staple and this is the first time he's sung it with a cello in it. I'm sorry I didn't read all the comments, but I'm sure they'll give you suggestions for some songs, but here's a few from me.
