I went to my Vet and he shaved a patch for me to administer the insulin. This helped so much!!! I cans see better and don’t bend needles as much. Still some but it has been a game changer!! I needed to take my time too. Hope this helps.
That's just too slow for my cat. I was hoping to find something that injects alot quicker. I've only been at this 3 weeks and the cat is starting to refuse (or at least give a hard time) about injection time.
Hilarious, in these insulin demos, the demonstrator says give you cat a treat when done... None of the cats are interested or asking for a treat❗❣️❗🤣😂😅 Helpful video in showing keep insulin pen depressed & in place, to prevent insulin from leaking out of cat❗❣️❗🙋♀️💕😺💕🙏
@@theloller5453 My vet shaved a spot for me to give the shot and it has helped to see and the needles are not bending. I can see where the needle is going without all that hair in the way. Hope this helps.
My vet told me to depress the button on the end for five seconds because that is the dosage my cat needs. I'm confused as to why it says to hold the button for 2 seconds. That wouldn't be true for each cat. ???
Each cat will get a different dose. You press it all the way down to disperse the amount you clicked to. Holding the extra time is just to ensure it’s all gotten in, it doesn’t change the amount dispersed.
Love the caption at the end...LOL
What a beautiful cat. ♥

I wish my cat was like that. As soon as the needle even just touches his skin he turns into a crazy tornado 😢

How do you prevent needles from bending? I’m having that problem. Not sure he is getting proper dosage. I am calling my vet for advice also. TY
I've the same problem. Have you got a solution for this? My vet has no idea

Maybe try a little larger gauge needle. If you are using a 30 or 31g, consider a 29
