If Son had good wingers and mid field who can pass, he would score more considering he was open so many times but not getting service. It does not matter whether you get a good striker or not, if you don't get serviced..
Toney isnt among the best in the league atm. Missed a lot with his suspension and not been on fire after his return. Nothing is given. Les Ferdinand was insane until we bought him, fast finished. Id be more comfortable at 30 for Toney. Closing in on 30 years, one year left on contract, out of form, attitude question. Guirassy and Toney same age btw.
Idk how you lot are not liking Gimenez, he is an absolute baller and the stats show, yes the second half wasn't as good but with the right team he can be a prolific striker and I think if we get him and one other very good RW then we will be talking number, Plus Gimenez is good at hold up play, good with headers and he can dribble to take his man on, I think he would be brilliant for the next few seasons at spurs

Gyökeres is some striker, physical, brilliant finisher, can hold the ball up and can pass and assist. 43 goals and 14 assists in league, cup and Europa League. Scores in big matches too. If we're serious about improving the team....
Rather have Gimenez than Guirassy, but I don't think neither are the kind of player we need.

We need a big, physical striker. By all means go for a smaller, more technical player as an option (Suzuki), but our forward line offers absolutely NO aerial threat (barring Romero) and that limits us tremendously.
Why are we not going for gyökeres if were serious
I simply dont get why one would be against signing Werner as a backup.

Serhou Guirassy is not a bad player but he wasn't first choice striker when in Stade Rennais.
Not gonna lie im gonna miss emerson, i rate him. He literally has filled in everywhere, but his actual potition, and gets so much scuff.
